a cup of coffee on a table

Easy to order online and pick up in store without much contact during Covid. Starbucks is always consistent with a great staff. This has been my go-to coffee spot for over 10 years. Although I love small business, local coffee shops, Starbucks is a great place to grab your favorite coffee or teas. They have insane nitro drinks, and over St. Patrick's Day 2019 they offered an Irish Cream Nitro Cold Brew. It had me "Dublin" over with delight. Use the app, it's easy. Build your star rewards and don't hesitate to grab some great drinks. I love the Pikes roast with a splash of half/half and cinnamon. I've ordered this no less than 100 times over the years.

The tea I asked for this morning and you all looked at me like I was crazy. Also I had to repeat my order 3 times for the guy to understand it. It wasn't complicated, iced peach and cheese danish warmed up, not that hard. Disappointed

Great service! The baristas always go out of their way to make sure you like your drink. They also love giving suggestions on new drinks!

My husband went in and ordered a Cafe Mocha and a cup with ice in it. They said they don't give ice out.

Laughing Gut Kombucha

Delicious kombucha served on-site at the brewery's tasting room. They have a permanent lineup with…read morefavorites like lavender and ginger as well as rotating seasonal flavors such as chai spice. The unique aspect of their kombucha is that it's all flavored with herbs and spices rather than fruits. They also switch things up by varying the type of tea used to brew the kombucha (green, rooibos, etc.) My favorite was the lavender! Also loved the chamomile mint. The smoked jalapeño (a seasonal release) was also incredible. They also have a few hot tea drinks such as matcha lattes and hojicha lattes. It's a family-run business with a lot of charm and some incredibly tasty flavors. I'm hoping they will start distributing their kombucha to restaurants and shops in NYC. Until then I'll be making the trip up to get my fix!

I went here with trepidation. I have never had kombucha before but I knew I would someday have to…read moretry this fermented beverage. I learned through the brewer that it is fermented tea. I like tea so I'd give it a try. My wife and I got four different ones and shared. I was surprised at how good some of them were and others were just not my (haha) cup of tea. Ironically those were my wife's favorite. For me the rooibos ginger and the smoke jalapeño and lime were my favorites. The wife loved the star anise and orange zest as well as the chamomile and mint. We bought a four pack and enjoyed talking with the brewer and his mom who were really friendly, engaging and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed this place a lot and will definitely stop by whenever we make it into Poughkeepsie. If you're a kombucha fan and especially if, like me, you have never tried it go here and experience it made in an artisanal style and not some mass produced can you'll find at the supermarket. One other thing I appreciated about this place was that they recommended I try the mead shop down the road. Having never tried that we stopped there next!

After we walked in one of the waitresses informed us that we can sit wherever we want. I instantly felt like I was inconveniencing her with my presence by the way she said it. Didn't take it personal just yet. What appeared to be the hostess came over a few minutes after we sat down and handed us menus that were very dirty. I looked at my husband and said I am ready to walk out of this place bc I am starving and it looks like they are too short staffed right now which is understandably out of a businesses control sometimes. But wait, instead of the waitress coming to our table to bring water or ask us if we would like a drink, she went to another table with a man and a child that she obviously knew well, and started eating their french fries and talking. That's when we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. So unprofessional. That couldn't wait? I hate to leave a review like this, but if I was the owner of this business, I would not want someone like that working for me, representing what seems to be a great place.

We love it here. I have to say the bike ride over the Hudson and landing here is half the appeal…read more The food offerings are pretty good and come in great big portions. They have a short tap list on a chalk board over the bar area but a massive bottle and can list. Truly a beer enthusiast paradise. Prices vary but pretty much run $6-$9 per beer. Outdoor, Indoor and bar seating available, and the option to seat yourself. The vibes are perfectly set, cozy interior and chilled out tunes. Servers are fast and always kind. Definitely my new go to. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

Everyone behind the counter greets you with genuine warmth during the morning rush. The pastries are always fresh and worth the wait, but the real star of the show? Their wonderfully large cup of coffee. It's the kind that wakes you up, comforts you, and pairs perfectly with anything you grab from the bakery case. Whether you're stopping by before work or treating yourself on a slow weekend morning, Kelly's delivers every time. Great service, great coffee, and a neighborhood feel that makes you want to return again and again.

Last Wed April 22, 2026, I was introduced to Kelly's through the CIA. I visited with friends…read morebetween events at FDR and enjoyed sandwiches, pastries, and bread to take home. It was a memorable experience, with excellent staff and service. However, my visit today was very disappointing. I stopped in to pick up sunflower bread, as previously recommended. At the counter, a staff member told me only garlic-onion bread was available today and that sunflower bread would be available tomorrow. I agreed to take the garlic-onion loaf and asked if it could be sliced, also mentioning that I planned to return the next day for sunflower bread. As I was completing the purchase, another staff member passing by stated that the bread was in fact sunflower. The first employee then changed course and asked how many I wanted. I requested one loaf and again asked if it could be sliced. He responded that they do not slice bread. I explained that during my visit last Wed., the breads have been sliced for us, and I also shared that I am a senior with a disability, specifically severe arthritis in both hands, which makes slicing difficult. A second staff member then interjected, stating that the bread should not have been sliced for me previously and that only sourdough is sliced, and only after 10 a.m. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and discouraged. The contrast between the welcoming, accommodating staff I encountered last Wednesday and today's experience was striking. Unfortunately, this visit significantly impacted my impression of Kelly's.
