Very nice, new coffeeshop in the area. I've realized the Poughkeepsie area severely lacks real coffeeshops to sit and enjoy GOOD coffee in. Drive thru coffee places are not it. We have enough of that with Dunkin and Starbucks. So glad to have another option to enjoy coffee at! They had a nice variety of options for coffee, other drinks and fresh baked goods.

Outstanding. Cute little lunch cafe. They have tons of small business things to buy! Really nice pastries! Good cappuccino.

A somewhat hidden gem in that we kind of just stumbled upon it. Place was super cozy, which seems to be a running theme with folk's reviews. A fireplace! We both got oat flat whites, flat oats? and croissants. Sat by the fire and warmed up as it was -9 with the windchill and my soul was slowly freezing on the way to the car. Coffee was served in quaint glasses, and the food, which I forgot to ask if was made in house, seemed to be, was really, really good.

Great coffee and ambiance near the Hudson River. The staff were friendly and offered many options…read morefor coffee. Around the shop are small comfortable tables for working or reading. The two times I went, there were a few patrons with toddlers playing with games/toys making the vibe less conducive for quietly reading or working, FYI. The baristas served not only great tasting coffee, but it looked amazing too! I ordered a drip coffee with oat milk and in my second visit, the cortado. The pastries were fresh looking but most had hazelnut or Nutella in them on the first visit (I'm allergic). They had a new selection of pastries on my second trip but sadly I didn't have any. Nice space that's modern and a great addition to the PK area.

From the moment you walk in, you feel like you've stepped into a little pocket of charm and warmth that's hard to find these days. What really makes this spot unforgettable are the owners, Gigi and Dade. They're not just business owners -- they're storytellers, hosts, and community builders all in one. You can feel their passion in every detail, from the menu to the atmosphere. They treat every guest like an old friend, and it shows. The food is exceptional, the ambiance is beautiful without trying too hard, and the service feels like a genuine extension of who they are. You leave feeling happier than when you arrived -- and that's rare. If you want a place with heart, character, and incredible food, this is it. Anna et Pierre is a must-visit.

Had this bookmarked for our trip because of all of the rave reviews. We stopped in for dinner…read moreSaturday March 21 and there was barely anyone requiring service. After we walked in one of the waitresses informed us that we can sit wherever we want. I instantly felt like I was inconveniencing her with my presence by the way she said it. Didn't take it personal just yet. What appeared to be the hostess came over a few minutes after we sat down and handed us menus that were very dirty. I looked at my husband and said I am ready to walk out of this place bc I am starving and it looks like they are too short staffed right now which is understandably out of a businesses control sometimes. But wait, instead of the waitress coming to our table to bring water or ask us if we would like a drink, she went to another table with a man and a child that she obviously knew well, and started eating their french fries and talking. That's when we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. So unprofessional. That couldn't wait? I hate to leave a review like this, but if I was the owner of this business, I would not want someone like that working for me, representing what seems to be a great place.

They have a short tap list on a chalk board over the bar area but a massive bottle and can list. Truly a beer enthusiast paradise. Prices vary but pretty much run $6-$9 per beer. Outdoor, Indoor and bar seating available, and the option to seat yourself. The vibes are perfectly set, cozy interior and chilled out tunes. Servers are fast and always kind. Definitely my new go to. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

The attendant went to the kitchen and she and one other attendant came back with all four orders. When I said no, two of us had already been served, the original server noted that she originally missed the other two orders. No apologies for the botched service. Not sure we would have received the rest of our order if we had not asked. This is a learning college, so I'm only posting this as I hope they're aware of the situation and use it as a teaching moment. Food was good. Everyone enjoyed their lunch once served. I do wonder though if the things get smoother (i.e. did class just come into session when I visited?) the food offerings were good but the management of ordering flow was a bit of a mess. I don't know if they set things up with a weird flow and then hopefully the students figure out the flaw, but it certainly feels like they're set up with a disadvantage. You can only order pastries right at the pastry window, but they can't check you out. You then have to go to one of the other checkout registers, but then it feels like you're cutting someone off who just wanted to order a coffee. I've never walked into a bakery with this level of disorganization so it was like really? I'm hoping this is a matter of training for the students, but from an outside entity walking in, it's confusing and it doesn't display the institution in the best light.
