Reviews of big chains, especially sbux, are kind of unnecessary since the point of chains is consistency and reliability. Starbucks will always get your coffee for you, and you can have your own opinion on the drinks, but what makes this location different is the great service. Multiple times during my visit a barista came around and asked every customer if they needed anything, you just don't see that at any coffee shop. Plus it seems like they have many regulars and have built a true relationship with their community. The space is well lit and I like the overall vibe. It is a medium sized shop with one big conference table and multiple smaller tables and bar seats. As far as a Starbucks goes, this is basically everything I want. It's unusual for a chain to have such high reviews, this location earns it imo. read more

Starbucks is definitely one of my favorite places to get a a caramel frappe, the taste is so yummy but the price isn't, thus my once a month visit (if I can wait that long.) I'm a gold card member and the perks are pretty great, earn stars for freebies along with offers every now and then. I've been to this location several times, good service for the most part, seating is sometimes hard to get due to teens stopping by and hanging out during lunch time. But overall good. During my last visit I was quite disappointed with my drink...it was more in the creamy side than frozen, and they skipped on the whip big time! It's my favorite part They do offer a lot of treats, a lot of the prepackaged ones on the healthier side. The outdoor seating is nice..however this location is quite smaller than most. read more

I've read a lot of the reviews talking about how great the staff is, and my experience is no different. I doesn't matter the time of day, everyone is so warm and friendly. I've placed large orders (think 25 + orders) for morning coffee runs, and each time every drink, snack, and pastry, has been labeled with the correct name and the drinks were just as ordered! Definitely one of my better experiences with a Starbucks location. I'm glad that it's so close to work which makes it easy to pop in and get what I need. read more

I went here at 8 o'clock and the doors were locked, No one inside and 2 other cars pulled up in the freezing cold to be greeted by closed doors. The Starbucks doesn't even have a drive through ! I wouldn't recommend taking your business here because their obviously off their game and not running the business right . read more

Well, it's another Starbucks. Those of you who may have read my past Starbucks reviews probably know that I tend to focus more on the environment at these places rather than the product. Why? Well, I've yet to find one where the product was bad; I've always gotten good coffee, and the locations are practically everywhere, so it's almost down to "what makes this Starbucks different from the rest?" Number one, and maybe a deal-killer for some: This location doesn't have a drive thru. Sorry! What it does have, though, is a good seating arrangement inside, with a lot of windows to let the sunlight in. It's clean and inviting, and it was perfect for me to spend about 3 hours with my laptop and a cuppa, doing some work while I was waiting on my wife to have a procedure done at a nearby doctor's office. In addition, I had an egg salad sandwich, which was very good. Bottom line: This is a location that's not in an area that's packed with Starbucks on every corner, so if you're OK with coming in to get your fix, it's not too hard to get in and out of, and just like almost every other Starbucks that's corporately owned (I'm not talking about the ones inside grocery stores and such, that's a whole different kettle of, well, coffee beans), you'll get some good joe and have a place to hang if you need to. read more

The staff at this location is the reason I gave it 5 stars. Everyone is extremely friendly, and they greet everyone that walks in. I like coming to this location as the lines go by super quick, and they get my order right each time. I drive by this location on my way to work, and if I have time, I will stop in for some coffee. It's a smaller and quieter Starbucks, but it's clean. read more

This is the worst Starbucks i ever visited. I order my drink and sit there for 10 minutes waiting for it. Barista made 2 drinks for people in front of me and forgot about my drink. When i ask for it. She gave me attitude and didn't even said sorry. read more

Just went to get my usual at my local Starbucks and they didn't have hazelnut syrup. I was so stunned that I stood there speechless for several seconds. So they proceeded to explain to me that the entire company was short on hazelnut syrup. How is like the largest coffee chain in the US out of hazelnut syrup? That does not compute. It must be the pandemic. Feels bad man. I thought we were about to get back to normal. read more

So many attempts to give feedback and things just don't seem to get better. The inconsistency between baristas is significant. One can never be sure if the order will be correct as requested. Example: a latte with no foam. Some occasions I get foam, some I don't. Some occasions the cup is full, some there is an inch of gap from the top. Seven months I have been trying at this location. Just about done. read more

This Starbucks is the best I have ever been to! Every single employee always meets me with my smile! They are friendly and always are very professional and kind. I could go to 5 other Starbucks on the way to work but I choose this one. I'm so happy I found this location because it makes my morning when I get to see their smiling faces. This is a perfectly fine Starbucks for coffee and service, but the location is super-tough. No drive-through, which is ok, but awful parking situation. It's confusing and tight to park, which means a lot of people do it badly. Very frustrating if you're wanting to make a relatively quick stop in. read more

This Starbucks is fast, accurate, and friendly, which is all you can for in a Starbucks. I've gotten drinks and food here multiple times as it's the one closest to my workplace and my church. Great for a quick stop on Sunday morning before service after ordering through the mobile app. Generally the ambience and cleanliness of the interior is also nice, and it isn't too hard most days to find a seat close to an outlet, which I appreciate. read more

Great crew. They're not annoyingly morning chipper or overly salesy. You get exactly what you want...and it's actually crafted as if they took their time to be efficient and effective. (Seriously, try sipping the same 3 drinks everywhere you go and you'll taste the difference.) Only two standalone tables have outlets, but there's plenty at the bar seats if you need them. read more

I love the glass windows. It makes you feel like you can enjoy the weather even if your allergies are going crazy or if it's pouring rain outside. I don't come to this location regularly, but I love how the baristas know the regulars. Definitely a plus! :) read more

They have a great group of people working here, very friendly and I've never gotten a bad drink. A lot of the people there are really passionate about their job, which is always nice to see. I've had my drink made by a guy name Layton a few times and he's always super enthusiastic. (Not to pick favourites, but him and Stephanie are mine!) There's a door that connects the Starbucks to the Barnes and Noble next door, which is really nice and convenient. (It's not a B&N cafe - it's an actual starbucks). Sometimes it gets pretty busy but it's not chaos like some other Starbucks, the layout keeps things moving. Thanks guys! read more

I love Starbucks in general. We went here on a Saturday morning around 10 to grab a drink and hangout. The place was crowded... like, it was a miracle that we were able to grab two couches to sit in. The latte was good but the green tea Frappuccino was a bit more icy than the other green tea fraps I've tried at several other Starbuck locations. The service was okay, not as personable as other locations (names for the drinks were not asked which was surprising especially for the amount of customers they had to make drinks for at this time). read more

I ordered a mocha a couple of days ago and it almost tasted like watered down milk. The barista was a blonde girl with glasses. This is the first time I'd ever bought a drink there. There was barely any coffee taste at all in my drink, and usually Starbucks coffee always tastes distinctively strong no matter what is ordered. I asked to have my drink remade and the barista told me she would put in two shots the second time. Tasted exactly the same as the first: watery and tasteless even with the extra second shot of expresso. The barista and cashier did not bother to ask if the drink was better the second time. At this point, I didn't think it would make a difference to tell them since it seemed like they think there is something wrong with me and not their coffee. My conclusion is either that either the barista does not know how to make the mocha, does not know how to use the expresso machine, or else the expresso machine is broken. I saw the review here from Hanna 10 days ago and she complained that there was barely any coffee in her drink and she thought it was because she ordered online -- it's not. The drinks are just not made right. read more

I walked into this starbucks this morning. When I entered the building I saw there was a women already at the register ordering so I stood 6ft right behind her. Then another man walked in behind me and stood to my left. When the lady at the register called the next person up I walked up and she told me that I wasnt next person and the man to my left was before me. WTH?! He told her I was before him and she told me I was standing in the wrong spot and that the line goes in a semicircles from the left. THERE WAS NOTHING INDICATING THAT IN ANYWAY. Normally, starbucks has a partition showing where the line starts and ends but that was not there. Not even tape marks showing people where to stand. The worse part though was her rude, stupid old lady attitude trying to school me on how to stand in line at Starbucks. I will never go back to this Starbucks. read more

Out of all the Starbucks I've gone to this is by far my favorite. They've never disappointed or have gotten my drink wrong , super nice friendly staff. I go very early in the morning but I'm sure the afternoon and evening the staff is just as great unless it's all the same staff? Lol very clean location traffic isn't ever too bad around the area and overall just a very pleasant Starbucks. read more

I stopped here for a cup of coffee and ordered a Nitro with Coconut Milk and sugar free mocha syrup. I don't remember the girl's names but one has greenish hair and glasses. She called me "hun," and it warmed my heart. The other one has short hair. Both very kind and helpful, professional and friendly. I had been up since 4am and didn't feel my best but left happier. Delicious coffee and wonderful people! Highly recommend this location. read more

Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

Not sure if it's the type of almond milk used or if the cup used to steam the almond milk had previously been used for cow's milk, but either way it didn't sit well for me. Especially when I'm in Plano. If I'm watching a movie in Plano and it's not in English, then I want Dubs. This is a very unique and different kind of place, which basically sells all kinds of nice lemonades. Barbi like several of the flavours - such as the watermelon. We tried a lot of different stuff, and they were the friendliest people imaginable. Honestly I'm not really into American style lemonade anymore because it's a little too sweet, but if I was, this would be my favourite place in Dallas. So I guess I would give it more of a 4-star rating because it's local and its innovative, except that it has some of the friendliest service in Dallas, especially considering they were 5 minutes away from closing and still wanted to give us samples of "Everything Under the Sun" (figuratively). So bearing that in mind, I most definitely have to give them a very handsome 5-star rating.

I've only had iced coffee here and usually only get their White Chocolate Macadamia. It's creamy and just enough sweetness for my liking. The staff who works here are very friendly and always pleasant. They know their craft and get you going especially when the line is long. Always a pleasure to visit when in able to.
