Today is March 22 2026 and I went and they closed early. It was 6 PM when I went. Also, I was in the drive-through and I was like trying to speak and no one was there and then when I went to the window, I saw there was no one there and then I got out of my car to see if there was people inside there was no one there they lock the door that I went home and there was also a lot of people outside in the drive-through and that we're waiting to get out of their cars, but nine till like I got out of my car you know they saw like the doors are locked, but I left so if I could give this a negative review I would because they're closing early and they're making people waste our gas read more

We were pleasantly surprised with the Starbucks today that was close to my husband's doctors appointment, so we stopped in for coffee and some breakfast. Starbucks price on things these days are kind of crazy, but husband had not had coffee all morning and was insistent we needed it now, lol. This is a light and bright Starbucks with a beautiful mural on the wall, the newer style comfy seating and a really nice outdoor patio, so it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and our food came out piping hot and can definitely recommend this Starbucks. By the way, I don't know that it's common knowledge, but if you do Drink your 1st cup of brewed coffee in store and you have used your Starbucks app, you can get one free refill. Nice! read more

Yes, Starbucks is a massive global chain. Yes, I am one of a bajillion customers and this is one of tens of thousands of locations. But the Willetta and Seventh Street location feels like my local, indy coffeeshop. Several team members have worked there since the store opened and I swear some worked at the old location down the street. That's what makes the difference - the team. Recommending a new espresso roast ? Check. Remembering that I like my sausage sandwich with no egg? Check. Recognizing me in the drive thru? Check. I always feel welcomed and valued at the Willetta Starbucks and that's a great thing. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks and you know what you're getting. The only thing that separates them is the service. I go to this one fairly regularly, and every time I visit, the staff is super nice. I've never met anyone other than a sweetheart working the drive thru. I will often be on the phone with my mom (Bluetooth, ofc) and she will comment on how nice the baristas in the drive thru are. As this place gets bumping in the morning (and the parking lot is admittedly a shiz show!), I give them extra props for maintaining such a good attitude no matter what! Plus they are super fast. The line can be all the way to Willetta, and they will move you through in less than 10 - and with a smile! read more

Hmm. What can I say? Starbucks was forgettable. I placed an order on the Starbucks app. The ordering experience was fine. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly Barista and the order was ready in time. Since it was a chilly winter day, I ordered the Strawberry Acai Refresher without the ice. The flavor was bland and the strawberries were quite obviously the frozen (and thawed) type. Since there was no ice to water down the drink, I can only imagine what the "normal" version with ice would've tasted like. Water with thawed strawberries? My main reason for placing an order was to try the Bacon and Gruyère Egg Bites. I've heard people rave about these. Since they are often out of stock, I thought I would grab some while I could. Sadly, the eggs were also bland. The bacon was salty and had the texture of ham, not bacon, bits. So, I wasn't impressed with this order. Next time, I think I'll stick with coffee. read more

This is my all-time favorite Starbucks drive-thru. I drove thru this location while in Phoenix for work. I'm so bummed I don't live in Phoenix because I'd go here every day :) Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Starbucks. It's not just me who loves Starbucks but it's also the millions of people who make Starbucks a stop in their morning routines. They will pass other nearby shops with similar quality coffee in order to wait in line at Starbucks. Why? Consistency! They have their usual order and know their morning beverage will be made the same way each day. I've found that my beverage is almost always made the same way 99.9% of time, regardless of which Starbucks I visit. The inconsistency lies in the actual experience - everything from the wait time, customer service to cleanliness as it will vary location to location. When I drove up to this location on my way to my meeting, I saw the long drive-thru line. There were already 10 cars ahead of me. I didn't want to be late for my meeting but I really needed coffee! Decisions!! The struggle was real. I decided to stay in line. To my surprise, the line was moving forward quickly. I was expecting to wait 15-20 minutes, but I literally got through in 5 minutes! I was shocked. I was so happy. Talk about fast and efficient - just how I like it :) They nailed my order. I ordered a Salted Carmel Nitro Cold Brew which was actually cold because they put a few ice cubes in it (something I usually request anyways). I also ordered a Strawberry Overnight Oats for the first time. It was good, but a little too sugary for my liking. Overall, what a fantastic 5-star drive thru experience!! If you live or work in the area, I highly recommend this location, you won't be disappointed. Kudos to the manager and team here - I'm impressed (and I don't get impressed easily LOL)! I lived in Seattle for 17 years so I'm a little (ok, a lot) picky about my Starbucks experience ;) So we tried this location with some skepticism when we first moved to Phoenix because it's the closest one to our house and it's walkable. These guys are AWESOME. They are ON POINT with mobile orders - not once have I been there to find my order not ready yet. Especially with the pandemic and not wanting to lurk inside, I really appreciate this. They are super friendly, don't grumble if you ask for a straw with the new horrid sippy cups they're using for cold drinks, and one time they gave my 8yo a free bag of chocolate almonds (score!). One day it rained unexpectedly and my friend and I moved inside to grab her drinks and started to chat, and since the dining room is still closed due to COVID, one of the baristas (very nicely) asked us not to loiter if we had all our drinks. I SO appreciate this level of precaution (and it was stupid of us to linger, I agree!) Their drive through is cheerful and efficient as well. Lines can be long, so just do mobile ordering and pick up. Pro tip: park on the street so you don't get caught in the parking lot by a long drive through line. read more

my starbies experience. As a #Christian Mom, I'm ALWAYS one for starbies. With 11 kids, it's nice to find a break every now and again. I thought I'd try my Spanish and ask for a ~GRANDE~ (for my non bilingual Queens, that means LARGE) and I was given a tiny cup. I guess they don't accommodate our Spanish speakers LOL. I've gone to this location many times and I have to admit, I keep going even though, 95% of my visits, I have to request my drink be corrected. I began going a year ago after moving into the area. Today was 'the straw that broke the camel's back.' I usually place mobile orders for the convenience so I put my name as NO Room Please since there's no way to specify on the app. I request my drink at 130° so I can drink it right away. (Which is an option as 'warm' or 'kids temp' as well.) Today, I went through the drive through and when I asked the Barista (Lilly) taking my order if she could emphasize the temp, she assured me it would be, so I told her the reason I asked is because I was sharing it with a kid and any time I place my order they have to remake. (Usually for multiple reasons.) She told me she would tell them but she didn't sound happy about having to. My drink also asks for no foam. Today the drink was FANTASTIC! But that's a rarity. The problem I always face is pushback for asking to get a correct order and it's never pleasant. I seem to get an attitude as if I'm the one who made the drink wrong. I ask for no foam and no room, how hard is that? Instead, I end up with a cappuccino. Every time. (I've recorded many videos for the record.) As soon as I got to the window, I remembered I forgot to ask for an extra shot of which I was ready to pay for. Lilly didn't seem very happy about my request for a shot. As if people don't ask stuff at the window or forget something on a regular basis. I was going to pour the shot into my drink as soon as I left and said that but Lilly insisted they do it. We went back back and forth. As if I didn't have an option. It was weird. When I was about to leave the window, I asked the cashier (Not Lilly) if she could relay a nice message to the lady behind me but Lilly came in and asked if there was a problem and told me she had to keep the line moving. It was literally only about 8 seconds of conversation with the other gal before she interrupted. I quickly asked for her name as I was saying thank you and she rolled her eyes as if there would be no repercussions for her treatment. Lilly was just very rude. Her attitude was completely unnecessary and now I feel I understand the culture of that store. They literally do not care about their customers. I am a really nice person but I don't tolerate rude behavior. And life is too short to not get your order correct (at Starbucks) and have to settle for something you didn't ask for. I truly believe that store needs to address the need to get every drink correct. Not just mine. Imagine, many people just stop going somewhere that consistently gets their order wrong and/or is greeted with an unpleasant demeanor as their expressing their concern. Somehow the employees believe their treatment is acceptable. So far the shift supervisors have been very nice and if I ever go there again, that's all I want to interact with. Unfortunately, that's not the way it works. Should a store manager wish to reach out to me, I will be more than glad to show my many recorded drinks. Otherwise, I just hope they take my review seriously. If you consider going there, in the day time, I would also consider if you're okay with getting either your custom drink, made wrong or an attitude. Or both. This is my neighborhood spot and also one of the best in downtown Phoenix IMO. It's always clean, service is quick and if I'm not happy with the drink I can get additions or changes. I've also received a drink and free Trent's sized water and ice. Their terrace is tree lined and just beautiful. I'll get some pics next time I'm there. read more

This location is my favorite now for multiple reasons. It was the best strawberry açaí lemonade I've had in such a long time. Super refreshing and the strawberries looked beautiful. I also get a caramel frapp if i'm tired which was also above par and it was so delicious! I ordered a total of three drinks (last one was a venti water) and was asked if I wanted a drink carrier which I think gets under appreciated often so I thank them for asking me! Also when I ordered, which felt like a lot to order, the lady on the intercom (Fri, June 4th @ 12:45ish) was super nice and didn't make me feel like what I ordered was a hassle :) Lastly the guy at the window was super nice and sweet. This is one of my favorite drive-thrus in the valley. I work nearby and often stop by for coffee lunch breaks. I've never walked inside so I can only speak about my experience on the drive-thru. If there's a line, the staff here is usually really good at moving it quickly. I've never had a problem with any of my orders here. From the outside, this location has a modern look to it. Lots of parking spaces as well so I wouldn't mind checking it out inside one of these days! read more

This has been my go to Starbucks but a staff member "Isarael" I think is how it was spelled was not friendly at all. The attitude given so early in the morning was unnecessary, as if she was bothered by customers. I felt rushed while ordering she kept saying "anything else" repeatedly after every word I said. She did not greet me at the window instead just handed me the drinks and didn't even make eye contact. She didn't give me a straw so I waited and she still wouldn't acknowledge I was still there. I had to signal for a straw. Ugh so uncalled for and unnecessary especially before a long shift at the hospital. read more

The drive thru was super fast. Came here at 7am the line had 4 cars in it. I literally felt like I drove into the line, immediately ordered, proceeded to the window to pay, and then left. I felt like my car barely stopped while I was in the drive thru. The girl taking my money was super cheery and it was nice for the start of my morning. My drink was made the way I wanted. This location was beautifully designed with gorgeous finishes throughout... and they offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! For those that brave the abundant Phoenix sunshine (and all-around beautiful weather here), the parking lot is quite large for a Starbucks located this close to downtown Phoenix... so there has always been plenty of parking! As with all Starbucks locations that I have been to, great service, attention to detail, and product consistency is the key... and they definitely deliver on that. I have always been greeted with the usual "hello" and "welcome to Starbucks" upon entering. As for my drinks, I order a variety of them and some of them can get a bit complex (e.g. Extra hot Venti flat white with eight ristretto shots and seven pumps of white mocha)... and the baristas here have nailed it every time! I am a Starbucks Finatticz and I get Starbucks every time I get a chance and I came into the Safeway on 7th Street and McDowell and unfortunately they have lost a value customer I was being charge for light ice which was strange I've never been charged for asking for light ice makes no sense but I said that fine then give me no ice then then I pulled up my Starbucks app, and the cashier said that they don't scan apps at that location. I don't understand why Starbucks would have a customer download an app and not be able to utilize it bad for business. One of the best Starbucks I've been to, in terms of service. I CANNOT praise enough how the employees here always greet you as you come in, always bid goodbye when you leave, and service is on par, with a smile, despite how bad the weather may be, how terrible the day is going. I've always enjoyed coming here to study because I love to occasionally "people-watch" ... looking around and noticing who comes in and out and I have to say I've have never had a hint of disappointment at how this location's employees deal with customers, no matter how crazy customers may be. The best thing I've seen thus far is how they treated this one homeless man who comes in several times in the 3-4hrs that I sat there studying. Every time he comes in, there was a peculiar odor reeking and he always asks for a water. And every time, this young girl at the cash register greets him with a genuine "welcome back" and provided him with a Venti iced water. I'm impressed at how they treat the homeless population, non-paying customers.. because that just shows integrity and how they would treat any other customers *cue applause* read more

This is literally my favorite Starbucks. I come here every day before work and sometimes for an extra kick during my lunch break. This Starbucks gets CRAZY, but they have never had me wait with mobile orders. It is literally always ready when I get here and it's amazing. It's allowed me to get a special coffee every morning and not be late for work. It's that fast. My biggest advice is MOBILE ORDER!!! You have to! That's just comes with the location! It's 7th and mcdowell. The staff is always so sweet and they know my name!:) they always have recommendations and knowledgeable about coffee and their drinks!:) A year ago, it was not the same. I ordred a dragon drink and they gave me a drink filled with coconut milk. On there website it said "sold out" of every refresher.. yet they gave me this. It had no taste of guava at all, just coconut milk, it tasted disgusting.
