We were pleasantly surprised with the Starbucks today that was close to my husband's doctors appointment, so we stopped in for coffee and some breakfast. Starbucks price on things these days are kind of crazy, but husband had not had coffee all morning and was insistent we needed it now, lol. This is a light and bright Starbucks with a beautiful mural on the wall, the newer style comfy seating and a really nice outdoor patio, so it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and our food came out piping hot and can definitely recommend this Starbucks. By the way, I don't know that it's common knowledge, but if you do Drink your 1st cup of brewed coffee in store and you have used your Starbucks app, you can get one free refill. Nice!

Hmm. What can I say? Starbucks was forgettable. I placed an order on the Starbucks app. The ordering experience was fine. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly Barista and the order was ready in time. Since it was a chilly winter day, I ordered the Strawberry Acai Refresher without the ice. The flavor was bland and the strawberries were quite obviously the frozen (and thawed) type. Since there was no ice to water down the drink, I can only imagine what the "normal" version with ice would've tasted like. Water with thawed strawberries? My main reason for placing an order was to try the Bacon and Gruyère Egg Bites. I've heard people rave about these. Since they are often out of stock, I thought I would grab some while I could. Sadly, the eggs were also bland. The bacon was salty and had the texture of ham, not bacon, bits. So, I wasn't impressed with this order. Next time, I think I'll stick with coffee.

Just walked to this location & got back home to open my bag to a frozen, uncooked sandwich. So rude and annoying, especially because of the price for these sandwiches.

Six people working 10 people behind me has received their drinks. Ordered three drinks. One came up, the second one was messed up two times, the third one is still yet to come out and my first drink is now watered down. Six people working. They are not under staffed. Perhaps lack of training. Super disappointing to spend $20 on three drinks and have this experience. Not one employee apologized or did anything to make it right. Mind you this is 11am not 8am.

SB near the popular Roosevelt Row. The drive thru is very busy probably because this property is a block North of the 10 freeway ramps. The Baristas are very professional, quick handling orders and it's also crowded in the seating area which is large. There's also a nice patio to enjoy the sun. Top ten Starbucks in Phoenix.

Long a** drive thru line but it goes fast because they're so efficient here!! My fave drive thru Starbucks!!!

This is my all-time favorite Starbucks drive-thru. I drove thru this location while in Phoenix for work. I'm so bummed I don't live in Phoenix because I'd go here every day :) Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Starbucks. It's not just me who loves Starbucks but it's also the millions of people who make Starbucks a stop in their morning routines. They will pass other nearby shops with similar quality coffee in order to wait in line at Starbucks. Why? Consistency! They have their usual order and know their morning beverage will be made the same way each day. I've found that my beverage is almost always made the same way 99.9% of time, regardless of which Starbucks I visit. The inconsistency lies in the actual experience - everything from the wait time, customer service to cleanliness as it will vary location to location. When I drove up to this location on my way to my meeting, I saw the long drive-thru line. There were already 10 cars ahead of me. I didn't want to be late for my meeting but I really needed coffee! Decisions!! The struggle was real. I decided to stay in line. To my surprise, the line was moving forward quickly. I was expecting to wait 15-20 minutes, but I literally got through in 5 minutes! I was shocked. I was so happy. Talk about fast and efficient - just how I like it :) They nailed my order. I ordered a Salted Carmel Nitro Cold Brew which was actually cold because they put a few ice cubes in it (something I usually request anyways). I also ordered a Strawberry Overnight Oats for the first time. It was good, but a little too sugary for my liking. Overall, what a fantastic 5-star drive thru experience!! If you live or work in the area, I highly recommend this location, you won't be disappointed. Kudos to the manager and team here - I'm impressed (and I don't get impressed easily LOL)! BTW, I wasn't late for my meeting either :) Thank you!

INCREDIBLE customer service! I really never get Starbucks but the one time we wanted some banana and pumpkin bread we decided to come here. the girl working the drive thru today (2-24-23 4:15pm) was so incredible! She was bubbly, called us "friend" and just made the whole experience great where now i would consider coming back to Starbucks! I wish every fast food or any place in general has this great of customer service

my starbies experience. As a #Christian Mom, I'm ALWAYS one for starbies. With 11 kids, it's nice to find a break every now and again. I thought I'd try my Spanish and ask for a ~GRANDE~ (for my non bilingual Queens, that means LARGE) and I was given a tiny cup. I guess they don't accommodate our Spanish speakers LOL. The building doesn't say Starbucks. I didn't even know I was entering one. The service was not friendly. It was rough around the edges. It seemed fake, much like the cookies Martha brought to last Monday's PTA meeting LOL. we can't all be champs.

This is my neighborhood spot and also one of the best in downtown Phoenix IMO. It's always clean, service is quick and if I'm not happy with the drink I can get additions or changes. I've also received a drink and free Trent's sized water and ice. Their terrace is tree lined and just beautiful. I'll get some pics next time I'm there.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

I'm currently hooked on the Cafe de Olla, a gorgeous blend of sugar and spice that's topped with a star anise pod that enhances the aroma with every sip. But virtually every menu item -- honorable mention to the Cajeta -- is balanced and well crafted. The baristas are all very knowledgeable about their teas, as well. I've recently been SO hooked by their semi-new weekend pastry artist, Ghita, who crafts such unique desserts. Most recently, I tried their absolutely FIRE black sesame craquelin with a mildly sweet tahini cream. The rhubarb cream pastry was also gorgeous and creative. Futuro as a space is intentionally designed as well, with plenty of seating on both sides, boutique goods for sale, and great reads. It's the perfect place to read a book and chill on weekends. And the staff, even when busy, seem to always perfectly serve each order and efficiently clear out plates. Officially my favorite coffee shop 1000% now.
