They had their seasonal flavors out, so I had to try them. The caramel Pumpkin Brulee Chai was very very very sweet. It consisted of Chai Tea, Pumpkin & salted Caramel w/ Soft Top, Pumpkin drizzle & Raw Sugar Sprinkles. I could not really place the flavor. I thought it tasted like a ginger bread cookie. The Cookie Butter Chai was made with Chai Tea, Cookie Butter Flavor and Swirl & 2% Milk w/ Soft Top and Cookie Butter Drizzle This one has an almost almond flavor. It seemed sweeter than the already sweet caramel pumpkin brulee chai. I could not place this one very well either. I did think it tasted like a cookie flavor. If I were in the mood for a very sweet drink, I would get either or both. They are very creamy. Service was fast despite long lines. Dutch bro is known for not having indoor seating. They are primarily a grab and go store with walk up windows and drive thrus. I would not get the matcha here again. The cookie butter chai and the caramel pumpkin brulee chai had a stronger flavor. I might get the pumpkin brulee chai again over the cookie butter chai. I am unsure about getting the green apple or strawberry smoothie flavors again. I would get the mango smoothie flavor again. I didn't like the strawberry tea or the electric berry tea as much as the mango smoothie or the strawberry smoothie. read more

My greatest addiction! Go to drinks are for sure the dirty caterpillar ( green apple smoothie with Carmel cup and whipped cream) it taste like the 25cent caramel apple suckers we used to get at the gas station. When in Phoenix I go to Dutch Bros. The hot mocha, which is made with chocolate milk btw - just learned that today - s my go-to. When I took my wife there a few weeks ago she liked it too! She even asked me to bring some home, but we know you can't get through airport security with that. I think my stays in Phoenix are over, but if I come back out west I know where to go. This particular store does have a difficult entry point and all Dutch Bros run a little slower than some other places, but it's worth the wait. There's one way to turn into the parking lot so be aware! I had to wait for a left turn at a light rather than go straight in. It's a small little place, some tables outside but not really a place to stay and hang out. A team member came up to my car and took my order. Drinks r good as always, but what we didn't appreciate was my boyfriend being accused of cheating. Girl asked him straight up if he was there earlier (my bf works an hour away for 9-10 hours) then stated talking about it at the window while we were at the window saying "I asked this guy if he was there earlier because it was a different passenger" and laughing about it. a uniquely terrible experience. during morning rush hour, the staff decided to leave someone in line that had ordered at least two dozen drinks. it took 30 minutes to serve them while cars piled up in line, my infant son SOBBED in the car, and the ice in my drink that I'd ordered ahead in the app melted. a team member apologized but did nothing to fix the situation and offered to get water for my now crying toddler AND infant as a consolation. when i then got to the window, the team member had the audacity to ask how i was doing. never again. oh. and in addition to the drink melting, the shots were also oxidized and bitter. read more

I have been a Yelper since 2010 and never written a review - but after sitting in what must be the worst run Dutch Bros line for over 30 minutes and not moving more than two cars forward - I feel called to warn my fellow Yelpers. Avoid this location like the plague. There is a better buz down the street or two Luci's locations nearby, better off going there. read more

If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this is not the place. The line here moves slower than dial-up internet. The girl working seemed more interested in social hour with the car in front than actually taking orders. To make things worse, the lady in that car kept hopping out like it was a block party, wandering around and chatting instead of moving forward. Totally inefficient, totally frustrating, and honestly kind of comical... just not in a good way. Won't be back to this location again. read more

Slowest Dutch Bros location I have ever been to. Wow! Should probably train staff on efficiency.

I really love Dutch Bros™. But I'm extremely sad that they don't take walk-ups anymore at this location. This location has a lot of traffic, because there are great paths for those of us who live in this area. But they're missing the mark byclosing their walk up window. I understand that it's a very congested location, it sits so close to the edge of the intersection and if you drive a bigger vehicle, it's very difficult to maneuver through the parking lot. I always chose to walk there. Please rethink your walk up window Dutch Bros™. We really love having you in our neighborhood. read more

I really don't have that much to say about this drive-thru operation as I wasn't aware of how big a chain it was outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. I was driving back to my hotel in north central Phoenix and noticed this was the only place still open for coffee. I was in the drive thru and had explained to the young man taking the orders that I had never been here before. I told him at Starbucks I like getting the Coconut milk mocha macchiato He told me to try the Golden Eagle. I did and it was very tasty and my add that it was even. Better than my Starbucks norm. When I got to the drive through the young lady was very welcoming and polite and she handed me my drink and told me she started out with the Golden Eagle also. This now my go to place for ice coffee. I love Dutch Bros--I even have their air freshener hanging from my mirror. But this particular location needs better management. Today (about 1:30 p.m. ) was the last straw for me. It was 108 degrees outside and my old car was beginning to overheat as my daughters and I waited in a long line for someone to come out and take our orders. Worse, I was cut in line by some jerk because the person in front of me just kept looking at her phone instead of moving forward in line. (Don't ask me why the line was moving because I didn't see anyone taking orders.) This isn't the first time tempers have flared at Dutch Bros. On Mother's Day, a woman drove in off 12th Street (heading south) and cut the line. An irate customer got out of his car and yelled at her. Today, on Father's Day, I yelled at the guy who did the same thing to me. Then I left without buying anything. The stress to me, my daughters, and my car isn't worth it. So, here are my suggestions to improve efficiency: 1. Have more than two (or zero) people taking orders. By the way, if you're not staggering their shifts, they will both leave at the same time and the customers will have to wait for their replacements. I've seen this happen at the Indian School and 28th Street location. Worse, as they end their shift, they have to stop and talk to each other while the customers wonder what's going on. Was there an emergency? Did Dutch Bros run out of coffee??? : ) 2. Discourage prolonged conversations with customers. Again, it just holds up the line. 3. Train the order-takers to control the traffic. Keep it moving. 4. Don't indulge line-cutters. They shouldn't be allowed to order before those they cut in line. Finally, I'd like to reiterate that it is HOT in Phoenix in the summer. Not all of us have functioning air conditioners in our cars. The longer we have to sit and idle in this weather, the hotter we (and our tempers) are going to get. read more

I come here almost every day. Some of the kids who work here recognize me when I come through and we chat. I genuinely love Dutch Bros. But jeez, I got the short end of the stick today. I ordered 2 drinks this morning, because I wanted a hot chai tea latte for my insufferable sore throat and my regular drink I get, an iced German Chocolate mocha. I should have taste-tested the mocha they gave me before I drove away, but this is the first time in months that I've had a problem. I nursed on my chai latte as I drove to work and finished it when I was sat down at my desk. But when I went to sip my mocha, I was immediately hit with an unnervingly sour taste. There seem to be very slight chunks of white globs floating in the drink, which leads me to believe sour milk may have been stirred into my mocha - or I got someone else's drink who has far more interesting taste than I do. Now that I'm at work, there's no way to get my money back or have my drink redone. Not a great start to the morning. read more
