Uncomfortable stools in starbucks.
Thomas E.

Let's start with the chairs. Don't think you're coming here to sit down and meet with friends over a warm cup of coffee or sip a cup of tea and browse the Internet on your phone for a while. The Starbucks does not want you here. They do not want you to sit and stay. This Starbucks wants you to spend your money and get out. Seems to be a reoccurring theme. I've been to several other Starbucks that had renovations and this was the result. Starbucks just doesn't want people in their establishment anymore. Back to the chairs. The ugly wooden chairs resemble something you would see in a high school classroom. I personally couldn't sit more than five minutes before my back started hurting. The only other option are their hard, uncomfortable stools. Now onto the food. It is Standard Starbucks fare. No complaints on the food. The help was friendly, even if it did take them two minutes to notice I was the only person standing at the counter. Still that's normal for California. Anyway, this is one Starbucks I will not be returning to. ^ 1 carrot.

The service is quick and the staff remarkable. There is not many decorations, but there are windows everywhere. I would come here more, but parking is crazy!

Awesome Starbucks location to enjoy a cup of coffee and pastries while running errands. I was having a not so good start this morning but fortunately this Starbucks was right where I needed it to be!!!!! I was able to enjoy a yummy blueberry streusel muffin and caramel Brulée latte. Mary had warmed up my muffin to the perfect temperature and my latte tasted wonderful! Always bring your Starbucks mug when you order your drinks at Starbucks! Pikes's Place is my go-to!! You get an extra 25 Stars plus a 10 cent discount!! They have good discounts on coffee mugs right now! Up to 50% off!!

Amazing service! I came to see if I could still claim my bday reward (I had a headache on my bday and needed to lie down so I couldn't claim my drink and was devastated). The baristas here were so nice and let me do that! They were also really friendly. I got a pink drink and it was delish!! I really recommend this place. Lots of parking and it's pretty quiet inside. I came on a Saturday morning.

Too much ice!

Friendly, quick service, enjoyed my peach green tea lemonade, but more than 3/4 of my cup was filled with ice. After 3 big sips it was empty. Make sure to ask for less ice!

Pour Over Dark Roast, tastes just like flavored water and not the dark roast

11/29/2018 Next door to the AT&T store right in the corner is this Starbucks. It's convenient location to the freeway is good but getting into the parking lot is not. In the morning, there is a bit of a challenge to find a parking space. Otherwise, you would have to park just a little bit further. Since I am next door, out my name on the waiting list. I thought I would grab a cup of coffee. I like the dark roast more for the flavor. However, the dark roast are not brewed after noon. So they offered pour overs in the afternoon. I think it is very light when it's a pour over. Not as robust when it's a big pot of coffee.

Great location! The staff is always friendly and the drinks and food are always in stock and hand crafted to perfection. I normally stop here on my way to work and there's normally just a few people in there around 6am. Lately I've been getting a venti medicine ball with 5 honeys and it's soooo good. It's steamed lemonade and water with peach tranquility and citrus mint. Perfect for this scratchy throat of mine.

Plenty of parking and polite baristas working here! I ordered a sweet cream cold brew and it's very refreshing on a sunny 70degree day in Pasadena Ca. Just sitting outside enjoying my beverage and the view!

This Starbucks location can get very busy. It's located in a plaza and shares a parking lot with other businesses. Parking spaces are narrow and hard to find on a crowded day. ::Drinks:: My go-to drink is my Green Tea Latte (hot or cold) with sweetener and an extra scoop of matcha. The baristas make my drink quick and perfect! ::Food:: I like the Butter and Almond Croissants. When I order it, I request for it to be warmed up. The breakfast sandwiches are decent too. ::Customer Service:: Great customer service. ::Rating:: My 4 Star review is for the Baristas. Every time I come here the place is clean and the Baristas are very friendly! They are helpful, polite, energetic, and always smiling. ::M's Notes:: -Parking lot -Inside and outside seating

Okay I'm back! Roy, the manager, is awesome. He really knows how to treat customers! Lance and Andrew pretty much know my drink order, which is awesome. I really miss this location; they're quick and consistent! I'd give this location 4 1/2 stars (due to the crappy parking lot), but since the staff is so friendly, I'm rounding up.

I ask green matcha late with out ice and soy milk, and the rude employee give me only half cup, when I asked her he told me is the rules for the company. Very rude and bad costumer service.i not recommended

This place will probably take all my money because if I lived any closer, i would come here…read moreeveryday and grab a Sicily. I absolvely love how unique and well-balanced this particular drink is - with its Ethiopian cold brew and orange blossom water. What stood out to me was how the zestiness of the orange/lemon/and lime combined complemented the richness of the cold brew. The sugar adds just enough sweetness without overpowering the coffee. I must have ordered the Sicily so many times that they should just name the coffee after me. The staff here is wonderful and the baristas genuinely seem passionate about what they're serving. I know what I like so I haven't gotten around to experimenting with the other coffees, but I can feel the intention behind the menu! Mandarin 2 has a very minimalist aesthetic, and the space is on the smaller side. There are few tables, some smaller stool seating, and a standing counter. I would look elsewhere if you're hunkering down for a place to work but if you're looking for a lively chat with friends, this would be the spot. There is soft, upbeat music playing and this place is popular so people come and go! For Pasadena, parking is surprisingly easy because this is located closer to the edge of the city near a residential neighborhood. Peacocks also frequent this residential neighborhood, which is a fun sight to see. Mandarin 2 is like the cool sibling that I look up to, visionary and cool! This place is definitely on my list of coffee shops for my weekly fix and worth checking out.

The Toasty is a milk tea and espresso mixed with brown sugar syrup and cinnamon. Although it is a signature drink, the rooibos tea gave it an herbal flavor. On the other hand, the One and One features a mini flight of a shot of espresso, sparkling tea, and cortado. I enjoyed the creaminess of the cortado and the latte art. Parking: There is plenty of street parking in the area behind the coffee shop.

Man what a great little spot in downtown Sierra madre…read more I went here for lunch, was meeting a friend. It's a great little spot. You order up at the counter, and then they bring your food out to your table. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant, and if the weather is nice you can obviously eat outside as well. Which Sierra madre, the weather is always nice. I had the pastrami sandwich, with fries. It wasn't the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't bad. But the fries were fantastic! I mean some of the best fries that I've ever had. They also have an assortment of specialty drinks, and coffee, plenty of options here. But the best part, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion size was pretty substantial. Definitely a good deal, and high quality too. The staff is all friendly and helpful. No complaints there. Definitely a great spot, will absolutely be back the next time I'm in Sierra madre.

Nothing bad or rude, just not particularly warm. That said, we keep coming back! It's usually pretty busy but somehow never too difficult to find a table. It's become our go-to brunch spot. The portions are generous, the food is consistently great, and it's a really easy place to bring family and kids. Definitely a neighborhood favorite! One thing to note: it can get pretty loud inside when it's busy, mostly due to the acoustics of the room. So if you're looking for somewhere quiet for an intimate conversation, this probably isn't it. If you can snag a table outside, though, that helps a lot.

I was lucky enough to find street parking nearby, which is always a win in Pasadena. The cafe is bright, clean, and airy, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a great spot to grab coffee and snacks, study, get some work done, or simply chill and relax. I stopped by after work and ordered an Einspänner (Vienna Cream Coffee) along with two salted breads: cream corn and chocolate. Everything was delicious, and the coffee was a lovely treat after a long workday. Service was quick and friendly, too! Between the inviting atmosphere, tasty drinks and pastries, and comfortable seating, Danbi Coffee is definitely worth checking out. A sweet little spot to add to your Pasadena cafe list!

Service is good - staff were all friendly, willing to answer any questions you may have about their menu, and efficient. 1. Gula Aren Latte (5/5) Their signature latte drink that combines espresso, milk, brown sugar and cream top. The cream top was super smooth and cloud-like. The latte part was also smooth, creamy, and well-balanced. The flavor was very caramel-ly and creme brulee-like. I especially like that you can adjust the sweetness level on this drink. Even getting 25% sweetness did not result in compromise of the flavor. 2. Yuzu Espresso Tonic (4/5) This drink is a combination of yuzu, tonic water and espresso. They use real yuzu puree (not just syrup flavor) for the citrus sweetness, you get the fizz from the tonic water, and the roasted flavor from the espresso pour over. It's garnished with a slice of lemon/orange. It's a bit of an acquired taste, but it certainly is a refreshing drink. Will definitely be back.

It's nice to have a place where we can order our favorites and know we're going to enjoy them each time. What keeps us coming back is the consistency. Neither drink has felt like a hit-or-miss order, and that makes a difference when you're spending money on something you're looking forward to. The pricing is similar to other coffee shops in the area, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a bargain, but I'm happy to pay a little more for a drink that meets my expectations.
