This store absolutely sucks. My stop here they had put whole milk instead of coconut milk like I had requested in mobile order. I'm lactose intolerant so you could imagine how my work day went. Today will be my last visit ever. I was waiting 20 minutes and several people had received their drinks before me. AND THEN the barista had asked why I was standing there. My drink had already been ready and so I was standing there for no damn reason. And now I'm late for work. I've been to many locations and this one is by far the worst. read more

The staff was so welcoming and while waiting for my order, the staff greeted several customers by name, which further shows me they care! Since I'm a commuter and travel a great distance, I took the advice from another Yelper who recommended this location since I frequent another SB on Fair Oaks. She praised the baristas who are on the clock early morning hour and I had to come see for myself. Every morning I exit the 210 and use surface streets to connect to the 110 freeway south and found this location convenient. I can only speak of the ungodly hour I visit. 1st, Parking options are completely open since mostly everyone is traveling via public transit with very little cars. I can only imagine the afternoon hour as parking becomes very limited based on other reviews. 2nd, my review is mainly to justify the baristas on the clock. Usually there are 2 baristas with a 3rd starting at 5:30. The store offers window counter seating facing Arroyo Pkwy and select handful of smaller tables. Your average customer is a regular and after a certain amount of visits you naturally get addressed by your first name which automatically gives you that comfort feeling. The service is hands down on point and you can expect to be greeted as you make your way across the floor. I've been steadily coming for over a 1/2 year and employee's tend to be employed longer than average. Let's face it, these positions are like a revolving door and for those that are dedicated and seek long term employment, it's all yours. In summary, expect to find customer service without any drama or having your order mixed incorrectly. I praise Emilio who's up at the crack of dawn and remains employed. You definitely bring happy smiles every morning to customers on a busy schedule rushing to get to work. Your work ethics will get you to the top, bro. Because this is the only Starbucks on Arroyo Parkway, I have to stop here on my way to the gym early or late in the day. Because this is next to the subway stop, this location can get a really packed during rush hour. Because it's next to the subway, they are used to getting people their orders in and process drinks efficiently and a huge smiley. Does anyone who works here actually care about customer service? Made both my orders wrong the first time and when I commented on the color not being what it is in the app/what I've always gotten, was told that's how they make it there. After trying our drinks and knowing for sure they were missing the coffee, we drove back, where my mom and I kept getting cut off and spoken over by the server. He remade them the same way and then tried again when I showed the drink on the Starbucks app and the 3 roast pumps needed for the drink, which he said was not in "this location's" recipe. Walked out of there being made to feel wrong even though it was literally clear as day that the drinks were wrong THREE TIMES. Still took my money and didn't even apologize. Other employees were there and I'm guessing even the manager, but didn't bother stepping in to help. Is it an issue of discrimination? Haven't had this come up as a problem at other socal locations. Maybe with the shortage of ingredients they don't put everything in and hope we don't notice. Good luck trying to say something about your drink here without feeling gaslit. read more

I come to this location because it's right down the street from my office. Everyone is always friendly and trying to hustle to get everyone out as fast as they can. Since it is right next to the train station it is quite busy. There are a few tables for those that are looking to study or chill. But since it is a smaller location it can fill up pretty quickly. My only gripe is the parking. It is horrendous in the morning. It is such a small lot and trying to get in and out with my truck takes some skills. My advice is try and order via the app and not worry about waiting in line to grab your cup of joe. read more

They're well connected with the Starbucks app so it's best to order your items about 2-5 minutes out from the store. It's been a year plus coming to this location! The only downside of this location would be the parking since it's on a shopping center, but even then it's not so serious. Usually people are in and out. It does get pretty busy but never have I had to wait for more that 5-7mins. It's also a clean location it's always kept tidy. The staff is friendly but many new faces which is always a plus. I love Starbucks's but my wallet says other wise :) read more

About 22 chairs. 8 electric outlets spaced out along the walls make this a very popular study, reading, and plain bumming around locale. Yes, I took the time to count all that. You're welcome. One of my favorite Starbucks to date, nothing special to comment on the drinks since it's pretty basic and similar to the other ones, but the customer service here is exceptional! For the few times that I've been here, the staff were always so friendly and helpful, I noticed that the guys slinging out the drinks remember the regulars names and such, makes the experience much more cozy than the other locations even though you're just in and out. I really like going to this Starbucks location. I usually just go to a location that is convenient, but when the customer service is nice, it makes my day a little nicer. Every time I've been here, the staff are always friendly and warm. It makes a difference. One time, a staff (I need to go back and figure out her name) bought my water for me because I ran out of $ on my card and was in a hurry, so I didn't want to take the extra time to use my chip credit card (those things take so long). She didn't have to do that, and it was very kind of her to buy my water. The wait time is reasonable. I can't speak for the expresso drinks because I usually just order drip coffee. I have been to other locations in Pasadena where the wait is unbearable, either because the staff is generally slow or they are chatting instead of hustling. read more

My husband and I frequent this Starbucks because I meet him here to pick him up from the train. Staff is always so pleasant and friendly. There is one person and won't mention her name, who makes his salted caramel with foam iced not so good. It tastes like foamy salt. No equals in it or cream. We always hit up this location on our way to Redondo. The employees are always nice and friendly. They aren't busy talking to each other like at other locations. (COUGH Torrance on 190th COUGH) This is an odd thing to notice, but their pastries are just right. They're soft, and don't taste like they've been in a fridge for a week. I get the small caramel square thingy and it's hard to eat when it's still half-frozen. Again, COUGH Torrance at 190th COUGH. The parking can be a bit tricky. It's a small lot that's shared with other businesses, so be patient. Also, watch out in the evenings. It's next to a Metro stop, so there can be some....interesting people milling around. Anyways, I'm sure I'll be back a billion more times. It's the only thing that makes the 110S bearable. read more

This location is OK. On the morning I went, there was a huge line and I instantly regretted coming here. The wait wasn't super long but when you are trying to get to the office ASAP, a long line like that is too long. I would avoid coming here in the mornings. The coffee was good though and so was the pasty that I got. Service was nice. They also have a private lot that's shared with other businesses so I was able to get a spot quickly. read more
