"Apparently asking for a refund is now a crime at Jamba." On August 8, 2025, my wife and I stopped in for two smoothies with a 25% off coupon from the Jamba app. The staff took their sweet time scanning the code, and while we waited my wife tapped her card. The person in charge then told me the discount couldn't be applied because the card was already tapped. Instead of being courteous and saying, "Refunds take 3-5 days, let's restart the order so your coupon works," she shouted instead "How would you like to work here!" That comment didn't just disrespect me as a paying customer -- it put down the store, the franchise owner, and Jamba Juice itself. Imagine being told by the person running the shop that working there is so bad it's an insult. Not exactly the best advertisement for your brand. She then refused to give me a refund or cancel the order. Another staff member then asked me to leave, which I did, and even threatened to call the police -- on my wife, for the terrible offense of waiting for her refund and receipt. After unnecessary back-and-forth, the refund was finally issued with a 3-5 day delay, and only after I insisted on a receipt they had first refused to provide. The receipt that they gave me was the order to go not a refund receipt. So will check the account to see if this refund was issued and go from there. So congrats, Jamba. You turned a $20 coupon mix-up into a police threat, public embarrassment, and the loss of a loyal customer who's spent $500+ a year here. Bravo. And the kicker? I still received loyalty points for this canceled order -- and the 25% off code that supposedly "could not be applied" shows as accepted in my app, even though we were charged full price. Now I come in and there's literally 2 employees in the store! You have to wait obviously, and when I asked one he said it's always like that and that they're out of A LOT. This Jamba Juice location felt like the average "get in get out" experience. The staff are quick to notice customers and fill orders. They also have a nice "bring a book take a book" bookshelf near the windows. There is quite a bit of space in this Jamba Juice, but I rarely ever see it populated, and it feels very spacious - perfect for those who like studying in quieter, less populated environments to get away from the busyness of Old Town Pasadena. I ordered a "go getter" and between the few times that I've ordered here, this is not one of my preferred locations. The other reviews are pretty accurate. Not the best Jamba location in my opinion. Parking is hard to find. The store isn't the cleanest. And there were only two employees working on a busy Friday night. The employees were nice but they were definitely overworked and stressed. I tried to get the $5 watermelon deal that they were promoting but I guess there was some issue with Jamba corporate so the coupon wasn't showing up on the app and they couldn't do anything about it or honor it. read more

This location really has the worst customer service among all locations. I came to redeem my T-mobile Tuesday and it says that I could redeem my offer in store. The staff has no attempt to try on her part to let me redeem in store. She insisted that I had to redeem in-app. It was clearly written on T-mobile that I could. Very unhappy to begin with. Then another customer walk in with no mask on while there is clearly a sign on the window that mask is required. The same staff didn't say anything. If you are not going to enforce anything, then don't require it. If you make a sign there, then people are expected to follow it. When we arrived 15 minutes later, they had not started our order. One young man making smoothies seemed to be in a bad mood and was making the other employees uncomfortable. I ordered their plant-based medium size greens n' ginger (290 cal) which is composed of lemonade, peaches, mangos, kale and ginger. I love it. It's a perfect post-workout drink that replenishes your body. Morever, it has all the vitamins and minerals that you need such as Vit A, Vit K, Thiamin, etc. Staff were amiable and competent. Starting off, I'd like to say that the service was decent, but in terms of the actual drink, it was not. I'm not sure how it could taste bad when it's a chain and it should all be pretty uniform but it really wasn't great. My smoothie was also not blended all the way and there was chunks of banana in it. There was no real flavor to it? It was kind of bland which was weird because I never had that happen before. I am a HUGE fan of Jamba Juice but this location doesn't have good staff. I came in and ordered a simple Vanilla Blue Sky bowl. I asked the woman what smells so good and she said this tomato twist. Then she asked me what I wanted to order and I said just the Vanilla Blue Sky bowl. She asked what size? That should have been the red flag there because the bowls only come in 1 size. I gave her my number and she couldn't find me in the system. I'm a regular Jamba customer and found that odd and so I asked for the receipt. I looked at the receipt and saw she charged me for a tomato twist. So I needed a refund and also she gave me the vanilla blue sky drink??? So it took me more than 10 minutes for my bowl and mind you I was hungry. She charged me $12.08 and I checked my bank account and still waiting for the refund to post. It doesn't even show pending, so I have to keep my receipts now. No apology whatsoever either just made me wait. Customer service here is really bad. I think I'll just order on the phone because ordering in person was a hot mess or go to another Jamba location. Seriously I never had that awful service like today. Just messed up my entire order. I was struggling to see the menu and the cashier really took her time to help me out, I explained that one of my kids has an allergy to a certain fruit and she told me which ones didn't have that fruit. I have no idea why I haven't reviewed this location. I have been coming here since it opened back in the day. They consistently serve drinks speedily and with a smile. I like the direction that JJ has taken with making the drinks more natural less sweet but you can still ask for the classics. They always make drinks to order so feel free to add, substitute other ingredients and make it your own. I have several favorites and make substitutions at times.
