I was in the neighborhood and needed a restroom. I walked in to buy something to use the restroom. I entered, there was no greeting from anyone. All staff were working on orders and it was about a minute or two until I was greeted by a friendly staff. I ordered something from the bakery and asked for the code to the restroom. It was nice and hot when i got it. The restroom was clean and was a single bathroom with enough space for wheelchair users. Service was nice, greetings were non-existent. read more

There is something special about actually spending time inside to enjoy the inside of a Starbucks just for socializing. Woke up extra bright and early this morning in order to secure and snag a holiday reusable Christmas cup! Turns out I didn't need to wake up at 5am... they had plenty of cups! I ordered the caramel creme brûlée and there was no creme brûlée taste in my drink. It felt sort of flat but was still tasty enough for me finish. At least I have a cute cup to make up for it! Oh damn they even got my order wrong and I can't go back. I asked for OATMILK!!!! I don't not drink regular milk. Not trying to bad mouth it's just team communication and consistency at this location failed me today. There is no drive thru and what I thought was a drive thru was for a bank atm. I used the Starbucks app the buy for my coffee, I was just going to order through the app but at the last minute changed my mind and just scan my phone with app to make my purchase. When I scanned for my coffee I was charged for both in store and the coffee I had in my cart on the app. I drove off after grabbing one coffee until I realized it was not oat milk which I asked for in store, I turned around and went back, spoke with 2 team members who both offered store credit of some sort. So I stand to the side so they can get the credit ready seeing that it was busy and I did not want to be in the way. The time it took to talk to two team members and wait to the side was unreal to only be told I will not be receiving anything. I only have a problem with receiving nothing because the communication and consistency of the team failed me and my time. I was okay with receiving nothing until 2 team member insured me that it was something they could do and would fix after I tried just taking the coffee and leaving. I was just standing there waiting no one walked up to me to deliver the news I had to approach the register again. So in a lot less words, I ask for the communication and consistency to remain the same amongst the team so everyone knows protocol in these situations and not a minute is lost from anyone's schedule or plans . read more

I've been coming here for 20years if not more. The faces, furniture, and layout changed multiple times over but they still have the same customers. I don't know... but something about this elderly group that spend their time here makes me feel they're part of Starbucks and part of the community. This Starbucks has become more than your average coffee shop. You get the elders, the young kids after school and people in between. it's amusing to see so many generations at the same place. As I made my way to the door the Christmas spirit bursted out of me it was like a over flow of joy and pure bliss. All the options so little time I hade a serious choice to make. I ran my eyes along the boards my eyes moving rapidly left to right. Suddenly I spotted it, a peppermint frappe. I knew right then and there that it was calling my name. I ran to the front of the line ready to place my order to see what true happiness tasted like. As I spoke the words of Wisdom something just felt right in the little shop so warm and cozy. Drinks are like most Starbucks They DO NOT enforce the mask CDC mandate... There was a group of guys inside not wearing masks, I asked the barista if they had stopped enforcing it already and he said "I think CA has already opened up"... I mentioned CA was opening on the 15th (2days away) and he said "oh"... and still didn't ask them to wear their masks. It would not bother me so much if one of the guys was coughing and hanging next to the area where the drinks were being made and was tall enough to have his head over the barista's protective glass. The service here is typically bad, but, as of late, it's gotten considerably worse. I ordered one drink, there was no line, no other customers. I waited twenty minutes for them to tell me they didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for my order. The brainiac behind the counter told me if I wanted my drink I'd need to "wait a while." Then, the equally sharp cashier claimed he had no record of me paying (or, he may not have been unable to operate the register. He seemed very befuddled). I love this location! The staff is always so kind and welcoming. I know Starbucks trainers their partners to have more personal interactions w their guests and I don't always feel that in other locations but I do in this one. I come here because it's close to work and sometimes that makes my day really convenient. BUT they always make my drink wrong which is annoying because I don't have a complicated order. Grande Pike with cold Soy, they always steam the soy. I don't want it steamed. And they are slow, which is not totally terrible, but it's not fun either. I've been coming to this store whenever I'm in the area and generally my experience had been good, but today, BAD! So I was waiting a while in front of the cashier as she took some time to finish up when Matt (one of the workers) opened up the next register. But to my surprise instead of asking me, he asked the next person even if I was next in line and had been patiently waiting this whole time for the cashier to attend to me. What happened to "serving the next in line"? When I called him out on it, he gave me one of those typical patronizing apologies which really sounded hollow and left me even more offended. As I waited for my food to be warmed, I called for the manager to let him know. What a waste of time! Not only did he patronize me with even more apologies, but he insisted that it was unintentional, when Matt clearly saw me as next in line. In short, Matt just decided to called the person next to me even if I was right there in front and obviously next I line. That, is rude! And the patronizing apologies didn't help either. The location has Vons and recycle center across the street and a Wells Fargo next door on Corner of Washingon & Allen. I've been coming here for years and I know every employee. They all know my name and greet me with a smile and conversation. I don't even have to say my drink - they make it perfectly each time. The staff is amazing. They are all so pleasant and kind and know everyone's name. One unpleasant thing that occurs occasionally, is customers try and take advantage of the store and or its staff. They'll say something like "hey would you mind heating up my breakfast in the oven?" Then I'm there thinking, "Huh? WTF are you talking about? You don't walk into a pizzeria and ask them to toss your shitty ass digiorno in the oven for you." Boundaries people. Also, if you spill YOUR DRINK, that's YOUR FAULT! Don't give someone an attitude when they're giving you a new one. Think about it. Take a breath. Be reasonable.
