I've been going here for years because the service was great and speedy. Now, not so much. It's much faster for you to get out and walk inside but of course they only have 2 spots in front. They really need to overhaul their drive thru policy. Example: A family of 6 orders, the barista messes up, and has to redo. EVERYONE in line has to wait literally for all the new drinks to be remade. I'm sorry but the drive thru should be quick and easy. If you mess up, let them park the car and walk the drinks out to them. It is typically my life goal to never enter a Starbucks, but the company has run the local coffee shops out of business in most areas. So occasionally I am forced by proximity to go to one. This Starbucks is pretty bad. Most of the time the line is out the door and they move slowly, so half the time I turn around and walk out. The times I haven't walked out they aren't very accurate in getting my drink right. I don't have an incredibly complicated order, and when I've repeated it three or four times I am frustrated when it's still wrong. It's also not very clean. The area to add cream to your coffee is typically gross and none of the tables are wiped down. It's loud, chaotic and crowded beyond reason. Most of the time they get my order right, however, during my last two visits, they gave me a tea that was not the tea I had mobile ordered and another time they shorted me about half an inch to 3/4 inch of my drink (and I paid for the almond milk). I'm very impressed with Isham and Mikayla. There was another guy with glasses his name is Vincent, and he was very kind and helpful too! Rachel is super awesome too! I love the team here! Mikayla helped me at first. She greeting me very warmly and she was very friendly! It just started everything in a very positive note! I got my modified "medicine ball" since the Starbucks was out of a couple of teas, but no worries since they always make the best combinations and the drink came out amazing! I admire the team's positivity and great team work. When another different was going on break I overheard one of the workers offer her a drink. That was so nice. When I was getting my order taken it was swift, professional, friendly. Also when I got more water for my cup I was offered honey by Isham. I thought that was super awesome of him. He is very professional, his hair was styled better than most office professionals I used to work with! He is very kind, and helpful! I imagine him excelling in anything he chooses to do especially sales with his genuine charisma! I really appreciate the attention to detail in wonderful, hospitable customer service. They welcome you in when you go in. They even remember regulars names. I am not a regular at this Starbucks but when I ordered Mikayla remembered my name! A+ !!! I visited this location on 10/10/20 at 10:00 am. The 2 stars that this place has is completely valid! Take care of the customers that are inside first since they are waiting!! They kept making the mobile orders instead of making the drinks for the people inside that were waiting. The barista who helped me was rude. I had already waited 25 mins inside for an iced white chocolate latte and 2 loafs from the bake case! Ridiculous! My order was not complicated. A gentleman who came several minutes after me got his drink before me and when I inquired about my drink the barista rudely said there were several people before me and it could be another 10 minutes!! I thought her name would be on the receipt since she was the one who also rung me up. She has long blonde wavy hair and it was in a ponytail. Definitely needs to learn better customer service. This place has the worst customer service. I literally was checking on my order because I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two muffins. The sandwiches came out first. Just was in here because the drive thru line was way too long. I could tell upon walking inside they were short staffed. Shortly after a worker named Mady came in & started helping out. There was a family ordering in front of me & they were taking foooorevverrr so annoying!! Then what upset me more was it seemed Mady was mutter something with her co-worker near the drive thru area when she started making my drink. Honestly, negative stars if I could. Shut this Starbucks down already. There's one in the target which is way more convenient anyways. Parking: Parking for this Starbucks is terrible and a hazard. People either cut you off to get in to the awkward drive thru or almost run you over if you make the brave decision to cross the street. Service: It's so busy that the poor baristas are running around trying to get all the angry patrons their coffee before they go outside and run over more people. It's also hard to get someone to make contact with you at the pickup station because they are so busy. If you didn't get your sriracha when you got your order you might as well get in line again to order a sriracha packet at the register or forget about it completely, unless you're ready to camp out. Food/Drink: Again, they are so busy my order is usually wrong, off, or missing something. I know they'll fix it but it's such a hassle when they're so busy. In conclusion, this store is in a bad location for how busy they are. It used to be the closest location to me before the one in the target opened. Orders are messed up, they don't have enough staffing for the flow of clientele, and they just don't meet the usual level of service other Starbucks provide. I just wanna want to be able to order on the app, pick it up, and go about my day without fear of being trampled, my drink tasting funky or taking out my egg cups to notice I don't have the sriracha or the guacamole I ordered. My reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich had cold bacon and I let the batista know. I come here multiple times a week, and Annie is continuously amazing. You can tell she loves her job and is always happy to see you. My drinks are always perfect, and she remembers you as a person which so memorable as a customer. The drive through is always super fast which is perfect since I come here before class. It is always so comforting having someone you can talk to while waiting for your drink too. You can truly tell she cares which is why I love to go back and will continue to go back! I regularly order a Venti iced latte macchiato & sometimes it's good & sometimes mostly milk. I tried one today from this Starbucks & it was overly sweet for my usual 2 Splendas & really weak so I asked for it to be redone without sweetener. I watched it being made & she only put TWO shots in the Venti iced macchiato. I told her that wasn't correct & she insisted it was for that size. She comped me an extra shot totaling 3. I checked my app on my phone (left in the car) & it's supposed to have 4! They need to train their baristas better if they want people to pay over $5 for a drink. I've been going to this Starbucks regularly for the last 6 months, and customer service has always been excellent! The majority of the complaints are completely unwarranted. They're in a very active location, so it's no surprise that the drive through is nearly always packed. So if you're in a massive rush, maybe it'd be wise to check how long the line is before leaving a bad review based on how long you waited. In regards to cleanliness, every time I'm there they're cleaning. There are a lot of homeless people that use the restroom, and they try to mitigate that as much as possible. But it's inevitable that some will slip through that don't care if they leave their wet paper towels on the floor. Now about the coffee itself, Starbucks is Starbucks. Regardless of which one you go to they're working with the same materials. And at this location it's great! I've not once had an issue with the coffee here. If you have questions about a drink, ask. They're more than happy to help you customize your drink so you get exactly what you want and are happy with it. I usually don't leave reviews, but I saw the terrible ones for this location and just had to make sure the truth get out about this place. Worst Starbucks location and staff I have ever encountered in my life. I ordered my drink through the mobile app and it notified me this store was still open and accepting orders.I arrived to the store 10 minutes after placing my order and the store was closed and there was a long drive thru line, when I walk to the line I was notified by the manager that the in store pick up closed as of an hour ago and I had to wait in line for my coffee in the long drive thru line just to get cold coffee, when I asked for a refund they told me to come back tomorrow. I do not live close to this Starbucks location and this store should have updated their hours on the app. They were rude, incompetent, and the worst customer service I have experienced. read more

This starbucks is always hit or miss with their service. Somedays its really good and they get drinks out in a timely fashion. However if you get caught in the drive through on a bad day you should make sure you have at least 10-15 mins to get your drink. Even when you order ahead it still takes forever. read more

This was my first time at this location since it opened. I've lived in Oceanside my whole life up until recently. I went here bc of the drive through also bc I wanted to check it out. Drive through line was a little too long for me so I went inside. I waited over a half hour for my drink of which others whom came in after me got their drink before I did. Even as I approached the counter to ask if mine had potentially got into the drive through drinks, I was ignored. I used to work for Starbucks and I totally understand how busy it can get in the drive through, as I used to supervise one. Again I understand the pressures of it, but when you notice a customer who ordered in the cafe waiting for longer than 10 minutes, it's nice to acknowledged them or check for their order. The store doesn't have any AC ports for charging. I couldn't get a lot of work done on my laptop because of this.

The drive up was so very very slow and then I found out why. They had a new girl on the line. She was so frustrated and I saw no one really helping her. She was in tears as she tried to help me. I told her she was doing a good job and to keep on going. The staff should have been more helpful. Probably won't be in a hurry to come back to this Starbucks. It's too bad, because it is a convenient location in a nice shopping center, and the layout inside isn't bad. But it's quite dirty as others have noted. For some stupid reason, all the outlets in the walls have been plated over since the last time I was here. As someone who works on a laptop frequently, that's kind of a deal breaker for me. You can clearly see where the outlets are supposed to be, but they have all been covered up just because someone in charge doesn't want people like me to come in and do some work for a couple hours. They not only have served me expired milk with my coffee but there's always something going wrong at this location. If they can't take cash or card payments it's the drive through speaker that doesn't work, or they're closed at 3 but don't update their hours on google.
