For me, ice cream is pretty much the same at a chain ice cream place. So my rating would be based on the service for this kind of place. We drove through town and my kids wanted ice cream. A young male staff was patient when my son asked for samples. After my son ordered his ice cream, we were ready to head out the door. My son was having trouble with his crutches while holding his ice cream. He accidentally dropped his ice cream on the floor. He was upset. I was helping him clean up. That young male staff saw it and immediately offered to give him a new one. That kindness made a difference! Thank you for making my son's night better. Another note to an older gentleman at the shop, thank you for offering to get my son a new one when he saw what happened. We really appreciate the kindness.
Good service, yummy Ice Cream, clean with seating available. Love coming in here for the signature and special seasonal flavors. You currently can get two quarts for around $17
1-star establishment on so many levels. The place was a ghost town. They didn't have the seasonal peppermint flavor at all despite advertising it on Google, Yelp and the business storefront itself. No apology given, just basically "We don't have it". Restroom seems to be (purposely?) out of order for customers? The general additude here from staff wasn't welcoming and the interactions weren't pleasant. Prices are high for what you get, but I again I came here looking for a specific flavor I couldn't find in stores, but they don't have it either. Overall cannot recommend Baskin-Robbins let alone this location.
So there's two guys that have excellent customer service skills, I think he has a burstfade or tattoos but he is exceptional everytime I come there! He's quick and give the right amount. There's been times there's another guy with longer hair to his shoulder bigger guy and not only does he look miserble working there he always WIPES HIS NOSE WITH HIS HAND before scooping ice cream! I've told my friend and when we went he did it also, this is the third time so I had to mention it because it's disgusting but sometimes another worker comes to help so I'm lucky not to get him but when I do I just don't want my ice cream anymore and to make it worse he gives scoops that don't even cover the bottom of the cup! This two scoop sundae is what he gave me but after the nose wipes and the presentation of the ice cream I just threw it away. But like I said the other workers are really good and friendly

I was really craving something sweet, so I decided to order a banana split through Uber Eats. I was looking forward to enjoying that classic mix of ice cream, bananas and all the toppings. But when my order arrived, this is what I got, and it was definitely not what I expected. I don't know if they ran out of ingredients, misunderstood the order, or just didn't care, but either way, this is what they gave me.
I was digging through one of my bags and found a $50 gift card for multiple restaurants and dessert shops. I saw that Coldstone Creamery was one of the shops listed, so I talked hubby into having an ice cream treat with me. After some back/forth talk about where one was located. He finally said there's one in Vista not far from us, and it's right by the T-mobile store. I said, "OK, I know where that is." We drove down to the location, walked into the shop, looked around, and got a little excited about all the ice cream choices. He ended up ordering an oreo crumble coffee shake, and I chose a banana Royale with pistachio almond ice cream. We went to the register to pay for everything. We were so happy and just ready to get crazy with the sugar high. The lady who helped us through the entire thing was just as sweet as she could be. She was very pleasant with good customer service skills. She was having some trouble and looked confused as she was checking us out. I asked her if the gift card was OK. She said it was perfectly fine. At that moment, all three of us were hit at the same time with, "Oh, shit!" This is Baskin-Robbins, not Coldstone. Suffice it to say, we still thoroughly enjoyed our frozen treats. We'd definitely come back to this location. It was clean but a bit warm inside. Maybe the AC wasn't working, but nonetheless, it was still comfortable.

Got a pre packed quart of Jamaica Almond Fudge. It was as good as I remembered. While it's not organic or super fancy, Baskin Robbins makes tasty ice cream. It's a bit pricey so can't come in all the time.
The staff at this location is always super kind and helpful! If you're looking for a place to grab a classic scoop of ice cream or order one of their delicious cakes do so at this location. Please consider tipping the staff here they work super hard and I know because it's a chain ice cream store people don't tip as often and the staff here is absolutely deserving of it!
My friend loves ice cream cakes and I'm most familiar with the ones from Baskin Robbin's that I remember as a kid so I went online and ordered one. The ordering process was easy and straightforward. The choices were somewhat limited so it's probably better to order in person. I ordered for pick up on February 14th at 12. I arrived at about 11:50 and there was a line for pick up and a line for ordering ice cream. There was only one person helping people at the time. When it was my turn at about 11:58 I was told to come back it wouldn't be ready for at least 10 minutes. I was supposed to be somewhere so it was a bit inconvenient but I went to the car and waited. It was ready when I came back. I surprised my friend and everyone had a slice and enjoyed it. Next time I will order in person for more customization. read more
Had great service from a young man. We got our ice cream sundaes to go. He was very sweet in making sure we had secure tubs. Sad that the Oceanside BR closed but so glad this one near my daughters house is still open. When I visit I love to come here at least once. We don't have one in NC where I live. So this is always a treat. read more

cant complain about the ice cream, as they were made at factory and delivered here. Complaints are about this store, store manager, so called cake decorator(look at the unicorn disaster cake in the pic). Made a online order for this cake 2 days back. while picking up this cake, found it was made in the worst possible way. The store keeper is convinving herself that it is looking like a unicorn. I have showed the order and the advertisement in their TV there, that this is not looking same. * The ears are made out of brown chocolate and not white. their store does not have white chocolate. * there is no decornation in front of the horn , it is looking bald. * the eye drawing is top notch. * one side of the decor is flattened with the box. poorly packed. * overall this does not look like unihorn as it was advertised and sold. My concern is not the poorly made by poorly skilled baker, but the response to the conern is "Either you take the care or leave it, we will process back your money in 2 business day. we cant modify the cake, as we dont have white chocolate in the store. even to fill the decor in front of horn, it will take 2 more hours. Nobody ever complaint about their decor, and its only you.". After talking to the store manager in phone, this is their response. I wanted to talk to the manager. the manager is not store. they asked me to leave my number, the manager will call me. For What? Kindly drive an extra mile and go to other baskin robins, strictly avoid the one in 550 Hacienda Drive, suite 102, vista ca, 92081. read more

On Sunday 1/21/24 we called to see if they had any Oreo ice cream cakes. They did, so I drove over to pick one up for my son's 18th Birthday. I purchased the cake and waited for them to ask what name to put. The young girl gave my receipt and walked away and I said excuse me can you put a name on cake for me? She said we don't do that here? I was like really? You guys always do? She said well we don't. I said: how come? Her: cause I don't know how? I said well not knowing and not doing are two different things. :/ I said ok thanks. Not sure if she had a bad day or she was being lazy but I didn't appreciate it. DON'T ORDER CAKES from this store!!! I paid $50 for a small cake with San Diego Padre colors and the cake below is what I got. It looks like my 9 year baked the cake. And the writing is not straight or centered! Extremely upset. Multiple failures regarding our experience. I ordered a birthday cake for my son and the young man taking the order didn't have any clue what he was doing. The ordering process was so bad I had to call the next day just to make sure it was correct. I asked the very knowledgeable woman who answered if they could add some trees to his cake since we were doing a Bigfoot theme. She had just run out of trees so she was going to check another store and call me back. Never heard from her. Fast forward to pickup day. The three people working completely ignored us for 10 minutes. I understand you have orders but at least acknowledge we are waiting. The cake looked terrible. The rainbow ice cream was showing through the icing all over the cake, the writing was sloppy (why on earth would you put a slash through a zero on a birthday cake?) and worst of all my son's name was spelled wrong. They "fixed" it sloppy also. No trees on it, of course. I ordered brown frosting borders (forest theme!) and they used fudge instead. Maybe they don't know this but fudge and sherbet taste terrible together, which is why I asked for brown FROSTING, not fudge. We went out of our way to use this location since we've had a good experience in the past but this time was a dud. My two stars is because rainbow on white cake is yummy, even when they screw it up. Final note: I worked at Baskin-Robbins years ago so I have extensive knowledge of what is possible and expected. This was a total flop. read more
Went here at 2:00 on a weekday The server greeted us right as we walked in the door . Getting my son I've cream cone. We were the only ones there . My son ordered his ice cream and as I was going to pay the server was sneezing Then I noticed he was not wearing gloves and tried to grab my sons cone from him to add a topping and I told him please don't just put the toppings in a separate container it will just fall off the cone . The ice cream is always delicious & consistently good. Considering the they serve ice cream and serve it to families with kids (translated to messy) this place is always clean. Of course, the selection is awesome. Good for celebrating life events. read more

I had no idea that they opened the store at this location, but I am glad that they did. The store is nice and clean as well as practicing safety precautions for covid. Anthony, an associate, provided top notch customer service and gave amazing recommendations! Highly recommended location! read more
