Nothing Bundt Cakes is one of the rare chains where I find there is consistent level of quality no matter which one I go to across the country. The one here in Carlsbad also meets the standard quality. I always get some combination of their lemon and confetti mini bundt cakes. This time I also tried their Dubai chocolate one. They did not disappoint! Delicious cakes. Great services. I rarely use the app so walking in here I tried to download it but their cellular service was weak. The person on duty was able to find my account using my email and confirm the number of points I had to see if I could get some sort of discount. I came in on April after traveling out of country in March for my birthday. I mentioned it and she verified my membership and included a free birthday bundt cake, even though my birthday month had passed. They were located at the bloom event for Yelp, they brought many small versions of their cakes and cut them into little squares. I normally am a chocolate person but the white confetti cake was delicious and I'm glad I could try other flavors. They were located right at the front of the event so made it easy to locate them next to all the cute flowers. They made it easy to just grab one or multiple flavors to try it out and made it easy. I have been here dozens of times. This location is closest and my favorite, but I have been to at least 5 other locations around southern CA. The people here are always happy, always willing to help, greet you with a smile, and go out of there way to make you happy and pleased with whatever you order. The bakery is bright, sunny, open and adorned with things you may need to celebrate an event, including cards, candles, etc. The star of the show is the dessert case full of bundtlets, cakes, etc. So many delicious flavors to choose from. I miss the days, pre-Covid, when they had samples so you could try new flavors. The cakes, bundtlets, and bundtinis, are incredible. a fantastic flavorful filling treat. The prices are reasonable and you have so many flavors to choose from including old faithful standards strawberrries and creme, new special flavors like Dubai Chocolate, seasonal flavors like the reeses peanut butter. Every time I come here, the service is excellent. The staff is always just so friendly. I had a buy one get one so I came to pick that up. I was having a hard time opening my app, but the woman behind the counter just said don't worry about it and I'll use your phone number. That was a big help because it would've taken me a while. I placed my order for a lemon and a chocolate chocolate chip, paid and was on my way. So easy and always so delicious. My family and I frequent this NBC for several special occasion cakes. We order online or via the app and if you know me well... I'm a sucker for & all about points and deals. On our most recent transaction I got 5$ off simply by loading the deal and using the specified instructions of using your account info in order to redeem it. Red velvet used to be my go to but I have switched more so over to Lemon. My adult kiddos go for the chocolate chocolate chip one. They have consistently have offered special seasonal flavors that are also very good to try. The options are great. Nothing Bundt Cakes is usually consistent. I often place an order in advance for pick up and they're typically early when we pick up. However, today i noticed the s'more orders were not done! Only one of them was decorated. Kinda disappointed as this was placed in advance. Ambiance is great. They have cute decor and trinkets for sale. I've always had these amazing bundtinis delivered to work for lunches, but never purchased them on my own. One day I got a craving and decided to head over and make a purchase. The store was very clean and organized! They had lots of options available ready to go or by special order. The girl working behind the counter did an excellent job with a super tough situation. There was a customer who just wasn't understanding how a special order worked and she was super patient with him. He wanted a special order made right then and there or he thought they had one in the back. She very clearly explained what they had available and what they could make him if he could come back in about 2 hours. When it finally got squared away and the man understood and ultimately bought something already made, the line was super long. All of us in line felt so bad for the girl and no one was upset! She not only kept her cool she was still genuinely friendly and helpful. When it was my turn I chatted her a bit and found out it was only her third day! I wish I could remember her name. This location manager should be very happy they hired her! She was amazing! Of course, the bundtinis were awesome! My favorite is the red velvet, but I love the mixed dozen! What a sweet place. Clean and inviting. We always get some mini cakes as gifts from work and for my birthday my husband surprised me with a 10'' red velvet cake fully decorated. The cake was a hit. Soft, fluffy, extremely tasty with little chocolate bits and the frosting was yummy too! I have been thinking about going there and pick some more up for us after Costco and I finally did! We got there at 5:30pm (they close at 6pm). I walked in with my two little kids and got greeted kindly. Employees were masked which I appreciate. We looked at the cakes and the moment I look up one employee walked towards us with two balloons for my kids! It made our evening! We ordered some small ones (lemon and chocolate) and an 8" red velvet without decorations. All of them were very delicious. Same quality as the one my husband picked up on the day off my birthday.
