My top favorites: 1. Chocolate with chocolate mousse (it's insanely perfect and great for freezing small pieces and bringing it out to nibble. Also equally love chocolate with fresh strawberries but just doesn't last as long in the fridge. 2. Black Forest cake - decadent chocolate with fresh raspberries that cut the chocolate decadence with the perfect balance 3. Pineapple and coconut- anyone who loves this combo will LOVE this cake. My husband's favorite. 4. Red velvet - not overly sweet exactly how I love it. The other favors I've tried that were decent were carrot cake, pistachio raspberry, almond raspberry. Pistachio flavor is super subtle. Carrot cake was not as moist as other carrot cakes I've had and almond raspberry couldn't taste much almond. Service is great and always good communication. My friend ordered an Americano and I stole a sip of that too. To me, black coffee is the real test. There's nowhere for mediocre beans or a bad roast to hide, and this Americano was smooth, rich and genuinely delicious. Then there was the donut. I don't even like donuts, which makes what I'm about to say slightly ridiculous, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. I would come back for that alone. There are plenty of places that can make a pretty latte. The Goods has something more. Really good coffee, ridiculously good donuts and people who make you want to come back. One of the best items is the Chicken and Waffles Benedict ($19). It worked extremely well together with the sweetness of the Belgian waffle and the savory notes of the chicken. It included small containers of maple syrup. The hashbrowns were the best! They really killed it with the super crispy outside. Loved it! However, DH liked the Savory Crêpe ($15) even more! This one just had such a great flavor combination: the little bits of chicken, mushrooms, and classic Provence seasoning. The avocado toast ($8.50) with an over-easy egg ($3) was amazing. It features a multigrain bread and just had some great toasty flavors and topped with a little bit of micro greens. Everything worked so well together. The ham and cheese croissant sandwich ($9.25) is a rectangular shaped one. There is an omelette "patty", tomato, and bacon on the inside.
