It's honestly embarrassing that I have to rate a Starbucks but after today I felt it was necessary. Not only do they not make drinks standard, but they take orders with the most rudest attitude ever. Extremely unwelcoming extremely not customer friendly and the worst part was when I ordered my drink. I can immediately tell that they brewed it over ice, causing the espresso to be fully diluted and the ice little to none at the top with my drink. Still warm to touch. My drink is probably the easiest drink to make while it's just a triple shot of espresso and grande cup with ice and two pump white mocha and some cold foam Every other location seems to make it perfectly fine however I've never had one make it scratch to the point where I didn't want to return to even need my money back because of their customer service at the end of the day they need to do much further. I really enjoy this location but sometimes they're so slow or "ran out" of supplies on something so you're waiting 15 minutes for an iced tea because they don't brew enough in advance. Going out to coffee with friends while everyone is done with their coffees and barely even had your first sip. The ambaince is hit or miss in this one. This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to in 20yrs. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. I don't know what it is about this location, but I've switched to a different one because of some bad experiences here, and whenever the other location is really packed and I'm running late, I know this location is usually dead now, probably because everyone else is switching to a different location- but even when I don't go here for a few months, and I come back and there's new staff, I don't understand how they're still not friendly. Is it just the same manager there making them all miserable? Do they specifically hire ppl who hate seeing other humans? Like I don't understand how so many workers in one place can be so bitter and dry. Also this is the only location I've ever gone to that has my egg bites looking this gross! EVERYTIME. Like why? What do y'all do at this location to manage to do this? None of the other locations do this. It's not appetizing and the texture is gross. It looks like a rat or employee was nibbling on the sides. Again this is an ongoing occurrence ONLY at this location. Why does the location at my house and by my job not do this? It makes me feel with how weird the employees here are that they would do something weird to the food. My previous bad experience that made me stop coming here is because they don't fill my drinks to the top - they swear like I'm not paying $7 for a coffee, like they're out in the field growing the coffee beans themselves and bringing it overseas and they're short on water and they get penalized if they fill our drinks to the top. So I asked them "what can I do to make sure my drink gets filled to the top?" They said you need to add another shot or ask for extra milk, because we go by measurements. OK , so next day, I ordered with an extra shot - still not filled to the top, so I asked again, hey I was told I needed to add an extra shot to get it filled to the top, and I did and y'all still didn't do it, I paid extra. Not only did 2 girls argue back with me with an attitude- I got told "that's just how it's gonna be" I was like "okay whatever I'm not coming here anymore." And she said "that's fine with us, don't" Listen whoever is hiring here - start hiring more ethnic ppl, more gay ppl, black ppl, ppl with personality - like the other locations, who work fast just to have time to talk to you without holding up the line. This is the first interaction of my day, and this location is NOT how I want to start my day. These white folks are not it and I'm white. Whatever racist propaganda you're on, it's killing this location. I'm tired of this location not changing its ways for the past 1.5yrs do something different - my next complaint is to corporate. This Starbucks is a little difficult to locate or maybe it was the way we came into the area. Had coffee here twice when we were in the area. The second time, a homeless man came in, sat for a while without ordering, coughed as if he were trying to cough up a lung, then left. Maybe this Starbucks doesn't give free water (most do) as he could really have used it! I've started drinking the dark roast with a splash of coconut milk. Apparently they don't make a second pot during the day after the first, as the barista will ask if a pour over is ok. Heck ya! A pour over is much preferred to what's in the pot! If you hate Starbucks it might be because you have only tried the Pike roast drip coffee, which in my opinion, is absolutely terrible. However, the dark roast is wonderful (I had the Christmas blend twice here). If you try the dark roast on drip and don't like it either, maybe you are more of a light roast person. Anyway, there are always three straight black coffees to choose from the drip. Then there are a few more black coffee options if the store has a Clover machine (not all stores have one, but this location does). There is always the option of just an Americano--espresso with added hot water if you are looking to cut calories or milk and sugar. I enjoyed my coffee here. read more

You can't always judge a restaurant by the most recent reviews because things change and reviews sometimes effect change. From the recent reviews I was expecting the unexpected. On my first trip here I was served my drink quickly and the barista got it right. Awesome. At about the same time on the following day I ordered a clover and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst clovers I have been served at Starbucks. I don't think the barista had been trained on the machine and he was not sure how to make one. On his second attempt he gave me the strongest cup of coffee I have ever received. He must have used enough beans to make 5 or 6 coffees. I think he was not aware that he was supposed to measure out the right amount of beans. I was disappointed but realize that sometimes mistakes happen. So, one good, one not so good experience. read more

I came in September 2023. There were 8 people working. Only 4 of them making coffee or doing the drive through. The other 4 were either sweeping, appearing to count inventory or fiddling with the iPads they use, or just talking with one another. After waiting about 5-6 mins they eventually took my order. It was not busy. If I were management I would prioritize helping a customer vs inventory or sweeping. It goes a long way. Iced tea was good. Just the customer service and priorities are lacking. read more

The African American woman working the drive-thru menu was extremely rude and short with me. I understand she may have been having a rough day, but she did not need to take it out on her customers that were being polite. I have never had this experience with a Starbucks employee and I am thoroughly disappointed. I would recommend retraining her on how to deal with customers. No way to rate this ZERO stars, so one star it is. Easily the most BAZAR and UNPLEASANT experiences I've ever had with any Starbuck locations over the past 25+ years. Our order was taken at the drive-through by a seemingly unfriendly individual. Sure enough, it set the condition for what was to come once we reached the window. The lady attempted to hand us the wrong drink and insisted we were someone else who ordered these drinks via mobile order. What?!? We explained over and over it wasn't our drink (we were calm and collected) and when we tried to describe our order, she cut us off and said that's not what we ordered. She then proceeds to say they didn't register our order and was about to take it at that moment when we just gave up with the nonsense, said we didn't want anything anymore and departed. We were having such a good day that we were even going to pay for the order of the car behind us. *Unbelievably poor customer service *Pause and provide appropriate training before they continue to embarrassment the company with their unprofessional behavior and disregard for customers. My favorite Starbucks hands down! If there was a rating between 1-10, it would be 9.9. Only one out of the 20 times I've been here was my drink bleh and since I've been around the Starbucks block a few times and back, that's a bottom of the ninth, tied game, and then you just hit a GRAND SLAM HOME RUN! In the morning, the drive thru line is ridiculous as all others are and sadly the baristas feel constantly rushed so even if you go inside just double check your drink and make sure it's what you correctly ordered. Studying here has never been a problem unless it's the frequent Starbucks customers who come say hi to me and want to chat a bit. So instead of sticking around Barnes and Noble down the street which always seems to be over crowded and too noisy, it's better to relax here. read more
