It's a Starbucks. And if you love Starbucks like I do, this is a pretty solid one. Most employees here are friendly and warm. Drinks are generally made correctly despite all my customizations. Time prediction on the app is pretty accurate. I was especially impressed by their calm and organized process during the most recent red cup day. Red cup day is always a madhouse with wait time at 30+ minutes per drink. It's a mob of people waiting for mobile orders. The baristas called out the names of orders as they were making it, so customers were kept informed while we waited for our drinks and nobody was left guessing where their drink is. The area is a bit subpar and sketchy, not a place you want to linger for long, but they do have adequate seating if you do need to stay a while. It looks like it has a drive-thru, but it doesn't. I've been coming to this Starbucks for about a decade - maybe more -can't remember. But it's my 'go to' spot when working in the field. Really large inside with a big community table in the center. Last time I was there was a bunch of knitters/crochet masters. Staff is friendly and fast. It gets a bit hectic around the drink station just due to the design of the place. Today, I had my last Starbucks drink. While trying to order the toasted vanilla oat milk shaken espresso, I was told it was discontinued. I was confused as I had just ordered one fine a few days earlier. The cashier then proceed to explain that it wasn't selling and that even though they still had a giant bottle of the syrup they weren't able to sell it. She went ahead and made it for me, but made it clear going forward it wasn't going to be available. I'm very disappointed since that was the only drink I really liked. Please Yelp, let me give them 6 stars! They earned it! Never thought I would say this but I'm almost glad this location doesn't have a drive-thru because then I would have never met the absolutely amazing employees. I swear just the entire vibe that they create and the way I hear them banter with each other and the employees always puts a smile on my face. I've never once had a bad experience. I'll admit there have been some slightly lengthy wait times, but the staff ( who remember my name and how to spell it :) always sees me and keeps me updated on where they're at with my order because they know I have school. I could write BOOKS about this staff. Especially Miss Bridget!!!! I swear the sweetest person ever, will remember your name, always smiling, and even 30 second register conversations with her turn my hectic morning rush into calm, confident, It's-gonna-be-a-good-day energy. And aside from The Amazing Miss Bridget, I've never seen any employee in there in a bad mood. They are always happy to be there. I've never seen people so happy on early Monday mornings. And it truly does make a difference, I've also always had a good experience with other customers. A very nice lady once gave me her place in line so I wouldn't be late to school. Not because I asked her- she noticed my school hoodie and let me go in front of her. That is the kind of environment this place has. Have I mentioned my order is always perfect? I am not exactly known for speaking clearly but they never mess up even the most complicated drinks. They are always delicious. I'm not a coffee drinker. But had a craving for a coffee. I was greeted when I went in. I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken espresso w soy. I asked for cinnamon to put on top. I was told she had already mixed cinnamon into my drink... huh? Not what I ordered. I said I see you don't put cinnamon out anymore. No the girl said I have it here. Well can I have some please! When I first walked in, I was served right away by friendly staff. When the line had been dealt with, it was great to hear the staff joking around and enjoying their coworkers while straightening/cleaning. Service is always better when workers are happy. Consistently horrible. I never leave yelp reviews, this Starbucks is worthy of one. 6$ for a vanilla sweet cream cold brew that tastes like a watered down milkshake is ridiculous. I live up the street from this Starbucks. I come to this location as it's less than 2 minutes away. Every time my drink is made wrong. The wrong portions of milk and coffee, I worked at Starbucks for over 3 years and I don't want to be "that guy" but I can tell if it's made correctly or not. After looking at the reviews, there are many 5 star reviews... 5 - 6 years ago. Clearly with the change in management the quality of service has taken a dive. There are plenty of things I could go on and on about. A health hazard is also worth mentioning, there is an employee who has very long brown/black hair. She wears it like it's a birds nest, not only unprofessional way to "style" hair if that's what you call it but also many opportunities for an untamed bundle of hair to fall into drinks etc. 10/10 do not recommend at all. The service is adequate and moves along fine, the staff is doing what they need to do and it's all in all a satisfactory Starbucks experience. Service is always friendly yes, but Starbucks is always a last resort in my book so I knocked off two stars for poor coffee drinks. I had to work in the area and I am using all the Starbucks gift cards I got from holiday time. (Why do people keep getting me these?!) The area is a lot spacious then I thought. The honey tastes really weird. It tastes like plastic. The cold brew was okay. It was a bit too acidic for me. This Starbucks has consistently been a terrible experience every time we've gone. We continued to try it since we live nearby, but it is definitely worth it to drive further to a different one. We asked for a "pup cup" and they said no and that they just "didn't do them anymore" then the manager gave us one and said "of course we still do them!". They make the drinks poorly and are really rude. One time they spontaneously "closed early" with the Starbucks being half full and asked people to just leave, so we weren't able to finish a work meeting. This place is always flowing with people and what is nice is they actually have tables for you to do your work or just enjoy an extended stay for a few hours. Hopefully you can find a seat! I don't want to call myself a Starbucks Snob, but I do have a Gold Card and there are many baristas that know me by name because of my awesome Batman case due to the fact I use the Starbucks app more frequently than my card. This location for me is a hit or miss. Sometimes they make my coffee amazingly and then there are times when they forget the sweetner or out way too much half and half in my drink therefore the coffee becomes super diluted. Today i decided to try a new drink on a barista's recommendation (i've had a vanilla sweet cream cold brew almost every day for the past 3 years), and i was very pleased with what they made for me. Would do zero stars if I could. I went in here 30 minutes before my appointment at the local h and r block. I ordered a simple frappe chino and a cookie. I waited for 20 minutes! They served other people who came in first, never even started mine, and then they were standing around on their phones and just pacing, talking.
