This location sucks and is always busy. Only got two stars instead of one for good customer service. They mess up my order more than half of the time. I brought in a COLD CUP today, and they put a hot latte in it? I usually don't correct their mistakes, don't wanna wait another 5 minutes but I did this time. This is an awesome Starbucks location! I am sitting inside right now, enjoying a Praline Chestnut Latte with my Vanilla Bean scones. When I came in, the line had 7 people ahead of me. WIthin 3 minutes I was at the front of the line and had my latte 2 minutes after that! There are three baristas behind the counter, cranking out drinks and breakfast items incredibly fast and accurate - AND all with smiles and friendly jokes! Talk about superior customer service! There have been no drink or food mixups in the 15 minutes I have been here now. Probably 50 people have come through the line since I first walked through the door, and about every third order they are calling out is a mobile order! This Starbucks team deserves mad props and a special holiday thank you! Thank you for an enjoyable and delightful start to my morning! You guys rock! read more

I still do like this Starbucks. It's of the better ones I've been to. But to update my previous review, I'd say your experience will vary at this location depending on what time you go. In the AM, my original review still stands. Excellent service. Kind employees who care. In the PM, specifically at/after 3pm, it's a different story. The service is g.o.n.e. They hastily take your order and push you away. And the grumpy barista definitely doesn't encourage people to linger nor to return. I haven't walked into an actual Starbucks in a while since drive thrus are a little more convenient, but this was the closest one to me the other day. I ordered the green tea latte and forgot to mention that I wanted coconut milk-I hadn't realized it until after I paid so I let the barista know and offered to pay the difference and she was totally nice about it and didn't even charge me. I didn't catch her name, but thank you. What a good way to start off the day. They were pretty busy of course for it being 7:30am but the staff still managed to greet everyone and worked real fast to get us our drinks going in a timely manner. Inside it is very spacious and has all of the modern upgrades that are at most Starbucks now. This adds for a nice ambiance and lots of things to look at inside. Avoid this store, they kept trying to tell me that they couldnt make my drink cause they didnt know how to make it, then they said they didnt have the ingredients, i said "like what" they said "the crumbles on top", i have never gotten crumbles on any of the drinks i have ordered anyways and i said "i dont want crumbles" then the barista said it was a seasonal drink even though online it says its available, he just didnt want to try to make it, i could tell by his attitiude and since i didnt want spit in my drink i really didnt want one from a typical 'o'side store. A lemon frap is so easy to make, i've made it myself before. Dont have so many stupid drinks on the online menu without having a recipie book for all of them! Well, not the best Starbucks out there. Service was ok. I was disappointed in the Peppermint Mocha - tasted watered down. I just felt lie they wanted to get people out of there. And the girl calling out my order was loud and unnecessary... Granted it was a Sunday morning. No place to sit because everyone wants to abuse the free wi-fi ;) The place was filled with kids doing homework and no one seemed in a rush to move. I go to starbucks every so often, preferring ones that have outdoor seating. This location is one of them. It's not a great layout, but close to where I work. However... you know there's always something.... The layout of the outdoor seating is good.... for the space they have to deal with (about 6 tables) The entry door is such that whenever people stop in to either hang out, or pick up a mobile order, they're walking by us with far less that 6' of "space" we need for this pandemic. No matter how temporary this is, it's still a serious matter. If the management is reading, can you PLEASE make the entry door the first one, instead of the far east one? Then, I'm less stressed about gobs of people walking by. I'm not wearing a mask when I drink, but the ones walking in, are, which is at least a start. Staff is friendly. No complaints there. Great set up, kind of rude service tho. Ordered a Venti Hot Chai Tea and was "coached" by the lady ringing me up, under her breath after I double checked the order based on price. I order this every day and it's like $3, but this time it was approx $5. Nicole them argued with me that I didn't order the "Oprah Chai" I ordered a Latte despite "latte" never coming out of my mouth. I said I am happy to follow her direction, I'd just never had an issue before and order this particular Hot Tea regularly. And at that point she just became silent which was even more rude. Oddly enough, I went to another Starbucks later in the day, ordered the exact same thing, no issue. I'm not sure if she was embarrassed she got the order wrong, and so out of defense attacked me - but there are so many Starbucks around, I feel like I'd try to be more pleasant to keep the business at my location. Good Starbucks. Last time barista was quick and sorta rude to me, this time, the drink was like the best I've ever had, and the barista was extremely nice! Believe her name was like Diavara or something like that I'm not totally sure. If the manager is reading give her a raise she is very welcoming and uses my name like, "Anything else for you, Josh?" Yeah I'm really not sure why i'm all of a sudden reviewing all these starbucks. It really is where I get the most work done. Don't get me wrong- i'm a huge fan of independent high quality coffee shops, ...but honestly, they just have too much personality. Starbucks provide a good status quo place where I have decent internet and I can just churn out work (I have no office). This place is one of the better starbucks to meet up at. A lot of tables, a lot of power plugs and just really spacious. But what is a bummer about this place... I'm not sure if I'm just imagining this but... there is a distinct smell of... well there's no good way to sugar coat this- either poop or really old mud. Not sure if anyone else is aware of this smell, but it bugs me a lot. I wish it could be up there with my favorite starbucks off of Vista and Jefferson... but alas, the smell is strange. read more

I go here often and have never been spoken to the way I was on Friday. I placed a mobile order and it took about 10 minutes to get here. After getting there I waited about 5 minutes and had not received my drink. I saw people come in after me and got their drinks and left. I was wondering if maybe i ordered to the wrong store, as its happened before. I did not have my phone to check as my son had it in the truck since i was taking him to school. I asked the girl behind the register, Brittany (she was the short chunky white girl), "excuse me, do you have a mobile order for jimmy"? She snapped back and said we have a lot of mobile orders and if you cant wait i can reimburse your order. She only glanced up at me twice for half a second while she said this. The busy barista said she had 4 mobile orders which was fine as i did not want to bother her as she was making it all happen. So instead of taking a second to listen, this person, Brittany, thought it was better to try and expert some sort of dominance, lol. So very sad. I give this place a three stars. It's still at a very convenient location and is easy to find. Very clean and spacious. I give this rating due to this mornings unpleasant attitude of the cashier (around 6:45 am). I don't usually have issues but maybe it was just too early for some people. I noticed this Starbucks location doesn't really have an upbeat staff like a lot of the other locations. Sort of dull and bland. A guy walked in first before me and couldn't make up his mind on what bag of chips he wanted. He went back and forth between the corner of the counter (not the register) and the chip stand several times. To me, it sounds like everybody shouldn't be held up by one guy cause he can't figure it out. So I proceeded to the "register" to buy my breakfast. From there the cashier took my order order and got me on my way. After that, I like how a smart ass comment was said, loud enough for most of the place to hear, to make me sound like a bad guy for ordering my stuff first quickly (while this guy still couldn't figure it out). It sounds like if you can't work a simple job taking a drink and food order, let alone multi tasking, then go back to Burger King and try again. Ultimate fail. read more

For Halloween I was a Freudian Slip. Nothing to it: just took an old black-lacy slip and attached several pictures of Sigmund to "key locations." I built my costume at this particular Starbucks... I'm not a fan of Starbucks. I like their mugs but just can't bring myself to dig their coffee. It's bitter and not-delicious to me. Also, most of the time they're built in the most cramped locations However, as far as being a student and liking open space, this is a kick-A coffee shop for that purpose. I came here this evening while it was raining cats and dogs outside, looking for a drink to warm me up. First, I had paid for my order already but it was happy hour so I cancelled it and asked that it be redone. Brianna helped me and was fantastic! After ordering the first drink, I then asked for the 2nd - a caramel brûlée latte. Unfortunately they were sold out - Brianna was super helpful and sweet. She used her barista skills to create something similar for me which I really appreciate. It was close in taste to caramel brûlée and very yummy. I used to go to this all the time and I was a regular. I knew pretty much every employee that worked here. The drinks are always good. Employees were nice, but the barista starting talking on the phone when I wanted a tall straw. I thought it would've been nice to actually get a straw that FITS my VENTI without having to ask. I thought it was rude to be ignored, so I just settled for the short straw. This place is always packed and tables are smaller than most of the Starbucks I've been to. I come to this particular Starbucks quite a bit. I don't always have great service, but I get my order usually in a timely fashion. However, this time was different. I mobile ordered and when I came in to the location they were pretty busy so I gave it some time. I waited and half my order still wasn't there. I waited 25 mins and to when things had calmed down when I spoke with the first employee. I explained that I didn't get half of my order (a coffee and a breakfast sandwich), I showed him my receipt. He said they didn't have that coffee so I asked for a different version of the drink to which he plugged it in and I eventually got my drink. I also told him about the sandwich to which someone told him they sold out so he said I could get any other sandwich and I then picked the chicken sausage and bacon to which he confirmed right then that they had and he was putting it in the toaster for me. I waited some more and no sandwich. I went up to a woman this time and explained what happened to which she apologized and said she would take care of it personally. I again, waited and waited and waited, no sandwich. I even had someone making drinks who asked what else I was waiting on and I answered and still nothing got done. Needless to say, I wasted $5 and I'd like to/hope to be refunded as I never got my order. And what was even more strange is when I have ordered on the app it will say when something is sold out or is not available but neither item that I was originally missing said that it was sold out or not available at this location. I have attached a picture to show what I ordered and what I didn't receive. I have even been given a half of a sandwich at a different location and that was better than not getting one at all. I come here 2-4 days a week. I get great service; however, a few days a week, I see police officers come in during the morning (CHP and Oceanside PD). There is a girl, "Anzy" is her name tag name, that is incredibly rude to them. Does not greet them and, when they say "good morning" to her, she says with a straight face, "what can I get you". Then, she'll wait to get their order made as she fills other peoples orders after them. I always hear them ask why she is so "anti-cop". In addition, when other patrons come in, she's "good morning, what can I make you" with a cheerful voice and a smile. Then, frowns when the police come in and never greet them. I love seeing the police cars here. Not only do I feel safe, but it's great talking with them. Always professional. read more

As busy as they are they allow a mortgage company to use a table all as their personal office, yep they can even go out on appointments and leave the POP display and some paper work there while their gone!
