This will be an extension to my previous review on the Safeway location in which this coffee spot is located. We had great service as has been my experience at basically every Starbucks I've ever been to. We ordered two venti iced coffees and one tall Chai. We also requested two orders of the white vanilla bean mini scones to munch on during the trip back. Drinks were delivered just as they were requested and stated on the menu board. There was this one picky/high maintenance customer that walked out with three types of frappucinos. Her ridiculous requests were enough that we wanted to slap her for being so rude and entitled, for what reasons that did not exist, to basically give retail clerks a hard time. What I really want to say, was that she was the typical a****** customer. 5 stars to the staff person that continued with dealing with this person's picky requests when I would have lost my cool immediately and another 5 stars for having to work at a counter where she, no doubt, probably has to deal with these types of people around the clock. read more

I went to the store on East Dunne Avenue (next to Trader Joe's) on Thursday morning (July 10th) to get a refund for the coffee cup with sling I purchased the previous day for $34.95 (Wednesday July 9). I spoke to whom I assume was the acting manager (Alexandra) who asked if I had a receipt, I said no (I don't normally keep receipts since I had purchased with the app). She then had a suspicious aura about her, and I got the feeling she thought I was trying to scam Starbucks for a refund; she was not so much rude as an accusatory attitude. She told me I could only get a Starbucks card (not a gift card) and I asked if she could look up my order, I found it but could not find where the receipt listed what I purchased. It took a few minutes and by that time the employee who sold the cup to me the day before told the manager she remembered me coming in and I told the manager what time I came in to the store from the receipt. The manager (reluctantly) looked up my order, found the receipt and printed it out. She grabbed the same Starbucks refund card and I asked her for a cash refund since she had the receipt, she said she could not give me a cash refund, and a card was my only option. Earlier in the conversation I had asked if I could use the card she was going to give me anywhere and she said she did not know, I asked her again at the end of our conversation and she said I could. Since I was traveling to Nevada I did not argue since I was going to use the card eventually. The original problem was the cup would not come out of the sleeve and with the help of another employee we were able to get it loose but I did not want to purchase a $35 cup and holder and have loads of problems, the staff member who sold it to me and who told the manger she remembered me was very kind and helpful both days and the manager was not unprofessional, I just felt she had it in her mind that I procured the cup in a disreputable scheme to get $35 from Starbucks and she was not going to give me my money (cash) back. I believe with my receipt in-hand, she could have done it. I have had nothing but good, friendly experiences from the Starbucks on East Dunne, so this was a first. I think Alexandra could have handled it without the suspicious attitude along with giving me a cash refund. read more

I ordered a cortado decaf with oat milk on the app for the Starbucks at Safeway on 840 E. Dunne Ave. The order was my standard and I had used it several times so I know it was entered correctly. The lady was very chipper and cheerful but she did not in any way make me an oatmilk cortado. I had on the go and did not taste it until I had left. It was sickly sweet. It made my heart actually race it had so much sugar in it. I have to wonder when I am the only customer, there are no other mobile orders waiting, if this is a game she plays, making whatever she wants knowing we won't be back to fix it, or if it was a genuine mistake. But I don't see how it could be. If she knows what a cortado is, she would know they have zero sweetener. I hate to think she did it on purpose but this has never happened before, even in SUPER BUSY locations with 10-15 people waiting. There was no pressure on her, no competing orders on the counter or waiting since she was doing nothing and had no one in line when I arrived and 10 minutes later when I left the store walking by again. I was just down the aisle from the Starbucks the entire time and she had no other customers or orders come in. So again, I ask how did my order come up so completely wrong? Oh well. $6 down the drain, or it should have been because as I said, I drank it and it made my heart race it had so much sugar. read more

Terrible customer service !!!! Have specific instructions for Chai Tea Latte 190 degrees hot . I got a "warm" chai tea latte . I asked for reason and they said you asked for "under 190 degrees" I said sorry if you heard that but I said 190 degrees hot . Then they said they will make a new one . I waited for 10 mins . Reminded them . Waited again for 10 mins Asked again if drink was ready and they said ohh no we didn't get to it sorry . I walked out . Very disheartening experience !!!! read more

This is a Starbucks inside the Safeway Store. I tried the Christmas Tree Frappachino which is a peppermint frap with Matcha Whip cream. It was pretty tasty. But they wouldn't let me redeem my free drink because they weren't a "real Starbucks" as they said. You earn points every time you buy your stuff on the Starbucks App. But you would have to go to the Starbucks across the street by Walgreen to redeem it. read more

I moved to this part of Morgan Hill in December and been to this Safeway Starbucks several times. The staff is always been friendly, at times it's a bit crowded, and overall delivers you're expected from a grocery store Starbucks experience. It's either an older or younger crowd typically - not much in-between. Once in a while younger families. But I guess that's just Morgan Hill :-). read more

The staff at this Starbucks is always friendly and quick. It's not in the most convenient location, and it doesn't have a drive thru, but I still go often! There is also a lot of seating for if I need to go to study or take my lunch there. Overall, a pretty average but friendly Starbucks. read more

Not sure if it was a new employee or what but i stopped here after lunch while on the road and it took 20 min for him to take my order, another 12 min to receive my drink that tasted off, i let him know he forgot to put in the sweetener and he proceeds to dump my drink in trash !! Im like what the ?!?!? I went yesterday for my ice coffee and lady at the registered knew nothing about ice coffee refills for gold memebers. She ask for a physical receipt witch I didn't have and I purchased a drink the same morning just at a earlier time. These employees need to do a better job at customer service and whoever the manager is needs to get them updated with Starbucks regulations cause they dont give out physical receipts or ask the customers to bring there cups back in due to the virus flooding around.. This location is consistently slow. Customer service is almost always poor. Today there was no one in line and only 4 people sitting inside the location. There were at least 2 employees working. I ordered 2 iced teas. It took 14 min to get my teas. I don't understand how that is acceptable. The young man working there just plopped my tea on the counter and didn't say a word.this is not the first time I have had bad service here it's just that I'm fed up of lack of customer service. read more
