I went to the store on East Dunne Avenue (next to Trader Joe's) on Thursday morning (July 10th) to get a refund for the coffee cup with sling I purchased the previous day for $34.95 (Wednesday July 9). I spoke to whom I assume was the acting manager (Alexandra) who asked if I had a receipt, I said no (I don't normally keep receipts since I had purchased with the app). She then had a suspicious aura about her, and I got the feeling she thought I was trying to scam Starbucks for a refund; she was not so much rude as an accusatory attitude. She told me I could only get a Starbucks card (not a gift card) and I asked if she could look up my order, I found it but could not find where the receipt listed what I purchased. It took a few minutes and by that time the employee who sold the cup to me the day before told the manager she remembered me coming in and I told the manager what time I came in to the store from the receipt. The manager (reluctantly) looked up my order, found the receipt and printed it out. She grabbed the same Starbucks refund card and I asked her for a cash refund since she had the receipt, she said she could not give me a cash refund, and a card was my only option. Earlier in the conversation I had asked if I could use the card she was going to give me anywhere and she said she did not know, I asked her again at the end of our conversation and she said I could. Since I was traveling to Nevada I did not argue since I was going to use the card eventually. The original problem was the cup would not come out of the sleeve and with the help of another employee we were able to get it loose but I did not want to purchase a $35 cup and holder and have loads of problems, the staff member who sold it to me and who told the manger she remembered me was very kind and helpful both days and the manager was not unprofessional, I just felt she had it in her mind that I procured the cup in a disreputable scheme to get $35 from Starbucks and she was not going to give me my money (cash) back. I believe with my receipt in-hand, she could have done it. I have had nothing but good, friendly experiences from the Starbucks on East Dunne, so this was a first. I think Alexandra could have handled it without the suspicious attitude along with giving me a cash refund. read more

This is one of my "go to" stops when I'm in the area. It's near a gas station and close to the freeway. Customer Service is pleasant and always helpful. Parking is easy. They are pretty fast at preparing the orders, even if there is a line. My usual order is an Americano, Flat White, hot chocolates and bacon egg bites for the family. The employees are always so upbeat and nice! Every time I come in, we always have a very short fun talk. They're so sweet! I order on the mobile app and they're pretty quick on orders. I usually order before I leave the house & it's ready when I drive over! I'm sure that's not always the case when it gets super busy but I order around 8 am-9 am. My favorite drink to order is three shots of espresso with two pumps of white chocolate mocha. This is the closest to Vietnamese coffee! Slight bitter taste with sweet syrup to balance it out. I visited this location recently and enjoyed a well-made drink. I decided to stay and complete some work. While working, I overheard the manager, Alexandria, yelling at the store's employees. This created an unpleasant and hostile environment for guests. I believe she may not be aware of how her interactions with the employees affect the guests and the overall mood of the location. I felt bad for the younger employees working there and questioned her self-awareness and interpersonal skills as a manager. I don't want one person's actions to reflect badly on the whole store. This review is a significant upgrade from my previous review. This is definitely the safest covid-19 safety setup I've seen. But it works best if you order ahead. Or, if it's a beautiful day, you can order at the store and wait outside in the sunlight. Here's how it works. Order online and select the choice for bring it to my car. Then a staff member will bring it to your car. It's that simple. If you walk in, the counter has been moved to the door. There is no space inside to stand. They messed his order up 3 times - made his drink twice cold incorrect then made a hot one. His order? An Iced caramel macchiato with oat milk, no whip cream. Simple enough eh? The really messed up part? There was a middle eastern man in there at the same time and he was treated poorly also. We went for a walk and decided to get Starbucks. We called beforehand to see if they take walk in orders and yes they do! You are required to wear a mask. Upon entering, there was no crowd and limited people. There was tape on the floor on where to stand if your ordering and if you have a mobile order. There are places for you to stand when waiting for your order. No cash accepted. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Plexiglass was set up and staff was wearing masks. We brought our 20month old son and they gave us a free cake pop just for him. This made my heart warm. I read some reviews and the negative reviews weren't what I experienced. I'm not from the area, but I love this location! It looks small from the outside, but it was very big on the inside with lots of seating. Staff were all friendly and nice. They quickly took my order and my food and drink came out quick! I have been going to this Starbucks since day 1. I've lived in MH for a very long time and appreciate the short walk or drive to this location. For about the last 10+ years I have gone in on Fridays as I get our office drinks and all the baristas know me by name. Lately I have been going in daily without fail I literally just have to show my face and its like magic my drink appears. They have even give me a nickname per my drink(s). I appreciate all the early AM baristas and their kindness to their customers. Alex, Maria, Sophia, MJ and the list goes on you are all hard workers and represent Starbucks proudly. To those that have given bad reviews- I've watched you! You mobile order right outside the door then walk in and expect your order to be done. Shame on you. If your drink isn't done be patient! They aren't making you late you have made yourself late. I've waited 10-15 minutes because of the other 20-40 people that ordered before me. To the people that park in the handicap or red fire lane right outside the door "DONT". Also on this if you didn't notice the few Sheriff vehicle or MHPD vehicles that sit regularly at this location. THEY WILL TICKET YOU! Park in a normal stall and walk. If you order a drink and its not right just let them know don't be a keyboard warrior and write a bad review. They will make you a new drink or fill it up for you more if its not to your liking. They are all about serving you as the customer. I went about 15 minutes after I ordered and they were barely making my order. There was literally no one waiting and no one in the store except for one other person. Had a mobile order, took about 20 minutes to make after ordering. My sister ordered about 8 minutes after my mobile order and she had her drink within minutes. I had to get up and ask about my order. An Asian Barista with glasses attended my question and annoyingly said I'm the only one at the bar when there was no one in line and about 2 people waiting for their drinks. There was another worker who I don't know why wasn't or supposedly wasn't on drinks helping this barista. When my drink was ready this rude Barista turned her back to me. First of off I was better off going to the Starbucks across the street inside Safeway, at least they have service standards! I visited yesterday after and extremely long day of shopping in the heat running errands on the way back to the Central Coast I just cited hey why not treat myself and my little sister to another Starbucks coffee being that I am a daily patron of Starbucks their service is usually spectacular oh my goodness was I so very wrong in this case. It was about I would say 8 o'clock when we came in there was a young lady and a gentleman behind the counter the young lady probably around my age wasn't very friendly at first however I think when she seen our faces being very shocked on the horrible service she kind of changed her tune and told us to have a good day. Again stating that I am a daily patron of Starbucks my drink order is very robotic and I know that I always say the size and The extra accoutrement that I like with my drink when we were served our drinks they could've been accurate however just the wrong size being that I order extra shots that means I was overcharged for the additional shots because they had put it in a smaller cup I was very polite and stating oh sorry we ordered Venti drinks he literally looked at me with a blank look on his face and said well these are grande besides the obvious I stayed it again I understand but we ordered the Venti save me understanding that now I had been a little overcharged I didn't mention it at all but just simply said can we have venti? He grew out raged it was kind of ridiculous how upset and asked again so you want me to remake them and at this point I don't really know it and said yeah that's what I ordered he grabbed the Cubs away from us when we had made a joke about taking a drink out of the wrong drinks to web our whistles he ripped them off the counter slam them into the sink step one of the new drinks down and then I asked him is this the quad shot for the normal drink it he asked was one of them supposed to be a quad shot again annoyed I just stated yes obviously because one of the previous drinks that was made incorrectly was a quad shot he then proceeded to make the other drink from the den on the counter as well and just walked away. One really amazing thing about the Starbucks in particular they had a board almost like A bulletin board it had really cute stringing a crossed it that said take what you need and there was cute catchphrases that said smile a hug laughter so I took the one that said smile off placed it on the counter and exited the building I looked to my sister and we kind of just chuckled as it was such a bad experience after such an amazing day the Starbucks we had visited earlier in the day that I normally patronize was amazingly awesome as per usual and the Santa Rita shopping center in Salinas California we just said what a difference things can make hopefully he has a better day but I didn't want to stay this on their yelp so hopefully management can see and they can understand that daily patrons of Starbucks go to many locations and do not deserve to be treated so ill mannered that they would never return to the vicinity ever again even if it was the last Starbucks for the next 30 miles I'll just take my chances hitting the road as someone who spends a lot of money with the company my opinion should definitely be be addressed with the staff as I'm sure they'll be able to tell who is working that shift good luck Starbucks Morgan Hill if you continue with the hostility I'm sure it will be a struggle to maintain your clientele as we I'm no repeat customers is what drives revenue and gross profit being that Starbucks the conglomerate does not need any type of marketing read more

Been coming here occasionally but never really noticed how nice this location is. Well turned out they just remodeled a week ago. Lol. I'm liking the new design and layout. Liked it so much I took a bunch of pictures to post on Yelp. The seats and table arrangements multiplied not to mention the long table by the entrance. The decor is clean and is easy on the eyes. The worst pumpkin cream cold brew. We ordered 2 drinks and when we got them there was barely any cream in them. We both took a sip of our drinks and it was straight cold brew so we went back to tell the barista there was barely any cream. He seemed to have gotten annoyed because we didn't like our drink so he added more. Mind you we were the only customers inside...We left and took another sip and it still tasted terrible. We come here often. Every Friday with our kids before school as a treat. We mobile order from home always.... Today there is no one here perhaps because of the rain. I went w/ my daughter to get our order. I asked for my order & was told abruptly "it's coming up." (Not hello? Or just a sec...) Then she put 1 drink down, then another. I have to ask if these are mine. (There are others here waiting for drinks.) Response "yeah." She then turns around & starts working on other things.... I'm still waiting for the food too. No one asks or cares. There are 5 people working & complaining about these mobile orders coming in! I walk to the counter to get my food & the girl there got the food I had ordered.
