I was just here 7/21/14. I ask for soy milk because I'm lactose. Well unfortunately the barista didn't look at the cup correctly because he didn't add soy milk. Is it because I paid with one of those cards that said they'll make me a free drink because they didn't give me soy last time? (Different location) Now I'm paying the price in the rest room at home. Would you believe this place was open on Christmas day? The line was out the door. This is probably because most other coffee shops were closed, including other Starbucks locations. When I finally got to the counter, I was greeted by a friendly employee with no indication at all that she was upset about working Christmas morning. I ordered a standard drip Christmas blend, which I enjoy during the holiday season. No complaints regarding drink quality or service, especially given the long line. Store is decent-sized with plenty of tables. I would go back to this location if in the area, but I would probably try a smaller non-chain coffee shop first. But, you can bet that your coffee will be good here. read more

The workers that work here are rude. I can literally hear them laughing and talking about customers. If you want to stay here and do some reading probably go to a different location. On top of that service is slow, when there isn't any customers. read more

I go out of my way for this Starbucks. To me, this is the ONLY STARBUCKS. They are very friendly and make the drinks pretty well (unless a newbie is making it). Parking can be a pain at times because the spaces go all the way to the street so if someone is trying to back out near the entrance, you can't get in! read more

Hands down my favorite Starbucks location because they get my drink the way I want it to be every single time. They even put the milk and green tea powder in the shaker thing (like for cocktails) so that there's less powder when they pour my green tea latte in the cup. Other locations just pour the milk in the cup, the powder, ice, stir it a little and give it to the customer. The store is always clean whenever I come here, which is pretty often. They always stock up on their yogurts, fruits, etc. which is neat since my cravings for their yogurt is usually random and I can always grab one here when I want one. The one on Brokaw sometimes doesn't have any. Oh and two parking locations plus two entrances/exits is cool too! read more

LOVE THIS STARBUCKS LOCATION! great customer service, friendly, especially in the mornings, better yet, all the time! i come here at least once or twice a week before heading to work to get my morning coffee fix. i love how they are patience and quick with the drinks. i never had a problem at this location. one time i thought i ordered an iced green tea but it turns out to be a hot green tea instead. they fixed it at no charge. The rating goes out to the afternoon staff as they usually vary throughout the day; but the afternoon staff for the most part are the same bunch of people almost everyday. the drinks are consistent and good. they make me feel welcome when i come in. they do their jobs well and are a good asset to the company. one of the only reasons i really come by this location. read more

I came here to buy strawberry & creme for my daughter. Upon entering the coffee shop, Edward greeted us and told me that "Refreshers" are 50% off. I bought 2 of each flavors ( very berry hibiscus, cool lime & valencia orange). When I was paying, the cashier told me that Edward took care of our drink because I bought 6 pcs of refreshers. Wow... This guy is awesome! I can see he is enjoying what he's doing & he has a good sense of humor, wearing also a fake mustache. The staff here are very friendly. Love this coffee shop! It was fun that the barista calling out the drinks added her own flare to it. Anyways, I came on a Sunday around 3 pm... and it was crowded as HELL. I'm not quite sure why. But the majority of the customers were teenagers. The service was quick and efficient as well. However, one complaint I did have was that I ordered a NONFAT vanilla bean frappuccino-- and the lady taking my order didn't ask if I wanted whipped cream or not! I would think if I made an effort to specify nonfat milk, I would not want whipped cream-- but alas, I got whipped cream on my frappuccino... Anyways, it was so crowded that I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Their customer service here is amazing! The quality of the drink they make here is exactly what I expected from Starbucks. The area is pretty big so there's always room for everybody. They also have private bathroom just in case you want some alone time, away from your home. There's also plenty of parking space from both left and right of their store. What I enjoy most about this place is that their drinks are high quality made and every sip make you enjoy every last one of them. read more

Depending on who's working, my coffee can come out delicious or just mediocre (not enough white mocha and too much milk). So it is a gamble because I order the same drink everytime but there is not consistency. On a few occasions they forgot to put white mocha syrup in my white mocha and I didn't realize it until I got to work. I come by almost every morning because I am a Starbucks addict and this is the closest one to my house when I'm on my way to work. Most of the baristas are super friendly but some are rude and will make an "UGH" face and roll their eyes at you when they get your order wrong or they need to clarify what you want in your drink. I used to work for Starbucks from March 06-Sept '13. One thing I always look for is attentiveness to customers and cleanliness of the store. If a store ignores something dirty , who knows what short cuts are done behind the bar. This is NOT the case here! I absolutely love this store and staff. The location is right near my new job and hardly ever any lines longer than a few minutes. Each barista is so nice and bubbly, they really do make me feel I have their attention even though I'm not a "regular" yet. You would think that more or less, all Starbucks are the same. I would say that for the quality of the drinks, but I feel that the customer service here is a notch higher than that of other Starbucks'. All the employees here seem genuinely friendly and appear to enjoy working there as well as each others' company. That type of rapport with one another seems to carry over to their customer service, making sure that the customers are satisfied with their orders and that their drinks are prepared correctly. read more

The thing I always complain about is parking :) I come to this location sometimes after the gym...so they are used to seeing me nasty and sweaty, but the baristas seem to compliment me with the ora I bring, which is probably musky! RUDEST STARBUCKS EMPLOYEES I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!!! Ordered through the app for pickup, when my boyfriend got there to pick up he was told to go wait in a line and when he was trying to explain he's already ordered and our drinks were ready, the lady there told him "next time you need to wait in line so I don't ignore you" who talks to a customer like that? If there's a new order or policy of doing things then explain that but you don't tell your customer you're going to ignore them. All the while she was handing drinks to groups of people who weren't in the supposed line she was trying to make him go stand in. read more

Sad to say I think the new remodeling of this Starbucks has made it distinctly less homey. The new decor behind the counter is great, looks very nice - but the long communal table is too high and unfriendly to any kind of computer use and the narrow ledge around the outside just looks unfriendly. Honestly I love the vibe here usually Starbucks are a hot or miss with grumpy ass workers who you know hate working there . But this Starbucks is amazing . The customer service is the best! Overall, the place is like any other Starbucks but what makes this Starbucks different could be measured by time of wait, how long I have to wait to receive my drink and most importantly, customer service. Generally speaking, the wait in line and to be given my drink isn't bad. If anything it's fair. Can't blame them since they're limited with x amount of staff and all. However, customer service... Oh customer service... In general, the ladies do a pretty good job. Not only are they professional but they are friendly too. And patient. However, the men are professional but can be a little bit more pleasant to speak with. I know people do have bad days here and there but majority of the men here are more luke warm (consistently) than welcoming and inviting. I'm not asking for red carpet treatment but a smile could be nice. Being random and complimenting the weather or some form of small talk would be great (when it's slow). But c'mon now... First Starbucks experience in Milpitas. Okay place. Not too crowded. Service was very quiet, there was only two people working... Only thing that got me outraged was the amount of ice they put into my ice tea! Five gulps and I had a cup filled to the top with ice. This is right off 680 so on my way to work each morning. I stop here for a ice white mocahh my fav, sometime I get other drinks like green tea frap(always ask for double blend or you'll get chucks of ice), or upside down carmel machiatto (i like my carmel stirred in and not floating or sticking on the side of my cup in gloop) any my husband like the vanilla latte. The way I order my white mocah each time:: Ice, Venti, 3pump, no whip, white mocha. 75% Great.. perfect on the spot yummos 15% ok.. 10% yuck..just not right not sure why that is... ATTENTiON THE ONE STAR IS DIRECTED TO THE MANAGER NOT THE WORKERS! So I'm a coffee whore, so everyday going to work I stop by starbucks to pick up a drink. The staff here is terrific and i love them BUT one by one they are being fired left and right by their manager. I got a chance to meet some of them after they left and they said that the manager Mellisa Reyes is firing out of power craze. I found out because of the recent people fired. Exploiting the workers is not a good thing. Definitely give Starbucks customer service a call. Take note that after a zillion complaints by me and other customers she has not been fired. Overall though I love the store. Its quaint, quite and has a good location but the attitude and negative aura of the manager needs to go. I will be sending this to starbucks corp because I feel as if customer service is priority and melissa is representing them. A standard Starbucks, but this venue seems to cater more towards communal rather than individual seating as evident from the long, bench-like seats and the bar table. As an introvert merely waiting on her dad to finish his meeting next door before breakfast, I only wanted to enjoy my coffee frap in peace while I fleshed out some details for a paper I was writing. The first time someone never came back for their order which was a Trenta black green tea and the cashier asked me if I wanted it and he told me that it was just made and nobody came back for it.
