A new location was opened in the loop and I would say there were problems in the construction - not enough space for someone to back out of a spot because it interferes with the drive thru line. This particular Starbucks is always a hit or miss, but this visit was a pretty good one for me! The baristas were all super nice and my drink came out quickly. The only issue I have is with their drive thru. There's no clear order for entering, so people just cut in front of each other when the lines are long. Happy that all of the pumpkin items are back, but they definitely need to figure out the parking/drive thru situation. read more

i guess the service was fine since it was a mobile order. I had ordered from this location a week prior and the gouda sandwich was okay. I had ordered on Monday a different sandwich, it was better than the gouda but it wasn't really like it made me feel sad. But i was hungry so i ate it. I also ordered two double chocolate crossaints. This is where it gets weird. My partner and I both had the crossaints and later on we started to feel weird and sick a few hours later and didn't know why. There was nausea and fatigue and just all around weird body feeling. My partner had more symptoms, leading to bad diarrhea and vomiting last night. We ordered monday morning and they had been nauseous and had bad abdominal pain for two days. So something had contaminated the food, we came to the conclusion. This Starbucks will have you waiting the longest of any Starbucks I have ever been to. I came here and ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin for myself and my daughter and two drinks .Waited over 30 minutes , all of a sudden they gave me half of my order when I asked where the rest of it was they gentleman behind the counter told me there is 3 tickets ahead of me . I ordered all of this at the same time , but for some reason they took 3 other orders in front of mine and made me wait an additional almost 20 minutes to get the rest of my order . I will not be coming back to this location again. It's a total of just under 50 minutes now waiting for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks while they take all these Mobile orders and make everyone else wait . We all get the circumstances with COVID, but turnaround times, service, and consistency is much worse that's even at the peak and early stages of COVId. Not worth it anymore. Had to slash a star because the wait times are just beyond reasonable. Every single day, Same issue, its ridiculous. This morning I waited 30 mins, never wait less than 20 minutes, and there were a good 15 people waiting for their orders. The drive thru was equally as bad, at least 20 cars in line. They seemed to have had extra people working today, and it was worse than usual, so I'm just not sure what the problem is here. They had someone at the pick up counter just to hand out the orders as they came up, which is great if drinks were actually ready. So this is where I have to take some time out of my day to say something about this location. The location at the "Loop" Methuen is the worst. Its like 2 out of 10 trips are successful. I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha w\ triple shot of expresso and a warmed up croissant - I get a White Chocolate Sweet AF no triple shot of expresso and Spinach something that was not even warm.... Now this is like 5:30am - This is not the first time this has happened. Everytime this place fumbles, I then throw it out and head to the one in Target.. Though there limited on selection... they dont F up. And by the way ... If you post that your open @ 5am - try to be open @ 5am - been too many countless times since the hours have been put back to normal that people are in line at Starbucks and noone is there or they are not taking orders..... read more

The drive through has two entrances into one lane, it causes issues, people beeping etc. Also, the wait times drive-thru or in the cafe, are extremely long, plan on 30 minutes minimum. Big issues going on here since they moved. read more

This Starbucks is a convenient place to stop for coffee while shopping at The Loop, seeing a movie, or after dinner at one of several restaurants here. This is not my favorite Starbucks location, but I usually stop in here for my venti dark roast if I happen to be in the area. The coffee drinks brewed & made here are standard and similar to other Starbucks. Given its busy shopping center location, this Starbucks seems to be very crowded inside with most or all of the tables occupied inside the store, most sit with their laptops taking advantage of the free wifi. There are also tables outside, great to relax on nice days and watch people come in and out of the cinema next door. On the weekends in particular, there is usually a straight line of customers from the front door up to the registers and it moves fairly quick. Sometimes there will be a dedicated staff member for handling transactions at the register and other staff will make drinks (the norm) and dispense brewed drip hot coffee (may take a moment after paying vs instantaneously at other Starbucks). Since the place is so crowded in here, I usually will not stick around and get my coffee to go. read more

this starbucks is not a good one imo. the layout isn't very great it's pretty open and the seating is on the more uncomfortable side. it's not very cozy of an ambiance. had to remind staff about missing items. the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and it was very busy. ingredients are bad in the drinks. read more

This is the worst Starbucks ever, why let's start mobil orders are useless, they are never on time as usual I have to wait. The employees, there are a few that can make specialty drinks the rest just don't even care you can tell by their attitude. As for coffee shops there aren't many around here so it's either Dunkin or Starbucks so limited to choices. I like Starbucks dark roast coffee that always keeps me coming. Anything else you order most likely they will screw it up and you will be leaving there upset. It has happened to me many times but I am still a sucker for coming back. If you are not using the Mobil order app don't bother entering when there are long lines, expect a good 20 min wait. There has been a few times they will be out of cold brew which makes no sense, or out of dark roast and you have to wait for a fresh one. Who has time for that. read more

I want to like this location, and new cafe, it's so close to my house, and I've been a long time Starbucks customer, but maybe it's like this due to the pandemic energy, but it's unbearably depressing except for a few baristas that have been friendly and an occasional guest who says hello or holds open the door. The design is crazy, there are cars in and out of a small lot, the drive through can be as long as 40 minutes of more crazy, the outdoor seating has cars idling from the drive through wrapped around the corner (gas fumes) and it's one of the most exhausting experiences. If I want a coffee or tea, I usually go inside, if I go at all. The cafe looks like a cold, storage warehouse inside, with no seating (due to Covid-19) but it feels like a hospital cafeteria where everone looks blah and disappointed all around. Perhaps it will change in the new year, but I don't want to go through this expensive, S-bucks fail everytime, so I'm going to pass for now. This location is the absolute most unorganized fast food restaurant/coffee shop I have ever been to. I've given a half of a dozen try's but each time they are equally as bad as the next. Yesterday, at the drive they I saw my order in the screen which was correct. When I got to the window the "person" gave the w wrong size o none of the beverages. I told her I paid for the larger size and she told me I hadn't. I had to wait 30 min for my coffee today and i was the only one inside at first. There were 5 people working there but no one was in a hurry . We come here more than any place in the area. For weekends it's nice to grab a drink and breakfast sandwich and some days during the week it can be nice to work remotely on the free wifi and relaxing ambiance. Depending on what day and time you come there are many different baristas. All nice, but occasionally you will get a person or newbie or doesn't make a consistent drink. Personally, I'm never too concerned about that, but for people who expect a perfect drink each time for the premium price may not be thrilled compared to a big city Starbucks. Afternoons and weekends can get packed and hard to find a seat many times. Overall in Southern New Hampshire there aren't any other Starbucks closer other than fake starbuck's in Target which are horrible. So until a Starbucks is closer we will continue to come here all the time and recommend it. Though once again, there are Starbuck's such as in the South End which have an incredible ambiance as well as larger ones near Manchester NH which is why I can't provide 5 stars, but giving 4 because there is nothing I feel they could do better aside from making the store bigger which wouldn't be practical. read more

This is pretty much a hit or miss location. The service is either wonderful or awful. I have never found an in-between. My most recent experience fell into the awful category. I was attempting to try the new instant coffee and was surprised that although the sign-age outside was pretty clear there was only what looked like a pot of hot water and cups and some Via packets. I was waiting in the area for the girls at he counter to be done with other customers when a customer rudely decides to take it upon himself to tell me where to go then when I moved over just slightly to give more room he again was rude as he moved through the area. I was so put off that I left without trying the coffee or buying a thing. I have had better experiences here but feel because of the lack of service and the attitude of another customer who felt that he knew what I was there for they are losing at least a star. I'll go back and give them another chance but it won't be for a while. read more

Friendly happy employees, clean establishment. The female barista today was excellent, I've never seen anyone pump out drinks as fast wile keeping a calm approachable tone. She also didn't yell customers name at the top of her lungs once their beverage was ready. She said the names with ease and politeness, much appreciated. It was super busy and the team wasn't making a bunch of racket behind the bar such as slamming tools in the sink or on the bar to clean or clear them. This place has the friendliest, most thoughtful, energetic, kind, hard working people EVER. Their managers are amazing, and they obviously hire amazing people. I go there so often I pretty much know who sucks at their job, and although I see a few particular people who seem to blow off their managers and talk disrespectfully, it doesn't go unnoticed and usually affects their tips. I also see managers calling lazy employees out - I applaud you hard working people! There's no doubt I'm helping keep you in business by going broke, but with kind people and fantastic drinks, it's worth the empty wallet. read more

I have been a customer to this specific Starbucks for years and have never had an experience like this one. I ordered a salted caramel cold foam & they gave me the wrong drink not once, but twice. When I brought my drink back up to the counter the barista proceeded to inform me on how to order my drink in the future because apparently I was in the wrong. She then told me that the beverage I had ordered was not only wrong but also not a real item on the menu. I then crossed the street to the Starbucks inside of Target, believe it or not... front and center-- the item I had ordered "thats not on the menu" was listed before me. This crew did a fabulous job of fixing the others mistakes and were very pleasant. Honestly, I am not one to complain but when you're spending $5 + on a small coffee you would truly enjoy it to be made correctly at least by the second attempt.
