Their new Iced Banana Cream Protein Matcha had caught my eye with their constant Instagram ads. Marketing works, y'all. And you know what, it was a decent drink. I didn't really taste the banana though but it could be my fault for adding an extra scoop of matcha powder in my drink. I would really like to try their banana protein foam on a coffee though in hopes it tastes like Korean banana coffee (highly unlikely but I'm still hopeful).

But they have the same products and the service was nice. I have always enjoyed the community feel that Coffee Rush promotes. It has always been my late night hangout spot to meet with a friend or just read a book. Coffee Rush Rush offers a variety of coffee drinks, teas, Italian sodas and chillers. For snacks, they have baklava and muffins, I like my coffee strong without flavors and always get a latte or a red eye. There are a few unwritten rules at Coffee Rush. Just remember that this isn't Starbucks. So try leaving the Starbucks terminology at home. They also don't allow outside drinks and there is no hanging out without ordering a drink.

There are many things I love about Dutch. Obviously their coffee is amazing. Not burnt tasting like the green mermaid other guys. I love their hot lattes and fancy drinks and my son loves their blended Sweater Weather chai. Also! They use real chocolate milk instead of chocolate syrup and man does it make a difference! No matter what you order, it's delicious and worth the cost. Besides my intense love for their drinks, Dutch has something else that makes it very special. Their people!! I have made friends with many awesome Dutchers and always get a warm welcome, no matter who I am helped by. They have an incredible culture and you can feel it when you visit any location but this one especially. The management here (shout out to Mallory and Megan!) is awesome and hard workers! Seriously they are some of the best and it feels like visiting friends when we go. I'm pretty outgoing and work in sales but my son is more introverted and reserved. Dutch has been an awesome place for us to go together and he's come out of his shell because of the kindness and genuine friendliness we experience at each visit. Today was extra special!
