Only food for me!
Stevo O.

This is an older Starbucks that is relatively small and quaint. The gentlemen baristas were cordial with both working in unison on my drink, which was prepared in less than a minute. I would come back if there was more parking...

Chai Latte. Mara was wonderful
Marcia T.

Mara was the best! She made my day so much better with her cheerful greeting and upbeat personality. Not to mention my chai latte was done just the way I like it! Thank you gorgeous Mara

Rude AF. Very impolite to customers and refused to give someone water when they asked.

It seems the other options for matcha and hojica were not popular - tonics, regular matcha with sweet cream, dirty matcha, etc But it was the perfect combination of creamy and bright, that's putting it lightly :). I got the hojicha latte by its house special, choice and recommended hojicha powder with oatmilk and absolute no fuss customer service. I would like to repeat this order with a foam so that the upcharge is worth it though. Not to mention, that variety of hojicha is definitely Korean whereas the matcha shifts recommendations season-to-season and depends upon the syrups of the shifting preferences in-house.

We ordered the matcha einspener ($7.75) and the strawberry matcha einspener ($8.50). They were pretty much the same except the latter had some strawberry puree at the bottom which I mixed together. The matcha was good and I liked the foam; the drinks were standard. They also offer loose leaf Korean-style tea, coffee, and Korean snacks.

And going the extra mile!" I can say the service is top notch with the barista. Parking in the morning is free. No attendant. But I'm sure come lunch time you may have to pay. Not sure if they have validation. They have street parking but it's K-Town. Good luck. Coffee is great. Service is amazing. Cleanliness café. Super cute inside. Lots of interesting choices. The drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet, so you could actually taste the coffee instead of having it covered up by syrups or other flavors. The coffee itself was smooth, with no harsh or overly bitter aftertaste. I also liked that the flavors complemented the coffee rather than overpowering it. Loved the honey lavender matcha and peanut coffee. The drinks were beautifully presented too, so they looked just as good as they tasted. Overall, a really enjoyable coffee experience and definitely a place I'd come back to try more drinks.

And they are so sweet and do not rush anyone, you can stay here as long as you want. My friends and I WFH so we decided to Work From MemoryLook (WFML) one day together. I'm glad we did! Great pastries in the morning, i had the cremme brûlée donut which had tons of filling, and the pea foam matcha latte which was fantastic. And I had an EXCELLENT chicken Chipotle wrap at lunch that was recommended to me by the gentleman working at memory look. I'm not certain where these wraps are made. Another gentleman would bring them from the building in the same complex. I LOVED my wrap. They have a ton of seating outside too but there aren't any outlets out there so it's harder to WFH out there unless you're fully charged. But was great for separate meetings we all had to attend. The photobooth was fun but we were so thrown off by it taking 8 photos, we had no idea how many poses we would have to come up with hahaha. I would definitely come back here anytime!

Parking is also pretty convenient with a good amount of spaces available. When I visited, though, there weren't many desserts on display. For drinks, they don't offer a double matcha option, but you can order a matcha latte with Einspänner cream instead. The drink itself was good, although I found the prices a little higher compared to other matcha spots I've tried. Service was on the slower side, and it took a while for the drinks to come out. The staff were okay, but not particularly friendly. (+) Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, convenient parking (-) Pricier than other matcha spots, slower drink preparation, and no double matcha option

I got the Whipped Honey Latte which was absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of caffeine for me to push through the rest of my work. I sat upstairs in one of the lounge chairs and everyone seemed to be working as well. The view from up top you can see a good amount of the city. My friends and I ended up sitting in the back tables outside, which was all good since we weren't there to do work. I ordered the matcha latte with oat milk, which was great but took about 10 minutes to come out. Also ordered the chocolate croissant -- that was delicious. They heated it up for me, and I made a big ole flakey mess and got chocolate all over myself, but it was worth it. Overall...I mighhhhht come back if I'm in the area. I would maybe come earlier and see if I could snag a seat upstairs to do work.

It pains me to give this 5-stars but truth be told, they deserve it…read more Let me preface: I am not from LA, I don't live in LA, I am not an LA POS. But Community Goods is often touted as staple POS behavior. Naturally, I scoff at the idea of driving to a ritzy part of town to wait an hour in line for coffee and Hawaiian roll sandwiches. And yet, that's exactly what we did. Given my preconceived notions of LA culture, I envisaged biting into a gluten-free, flavor-free, low-carb, lean protein, overpriced slider. I'd walk away disappointed, a bit poorer, and still hungry. Yeah, nope. First off, they had espresso tonics. Dead ass simple item but surprisingly hard to find on café menus. I absolutely love them. Note to self: look into making them at home. On a hot day like today, their espresso tonic hit heavy, almost made me want to grab a 2nd one (if it weren't for the line). But their slider stole the show. The photos don't really do it justice, and yeah it's not the fattest thing in the world. But bacon, eggs, and cheese on a roll is so simple, so greasy, so delicious that you really can't go wrong. Ok yeah you can get that literally anywhere. But something about how haphazardly and dgaf it's assembled, plus whatever the hell sauce it comes with, makes this slider just a touch elevated. The inside had fun little trinkets to window shop. Once you're in the little shack, the line doesn't feel as daunting. There are benches, you can look at the menu, you can shop a bit. The workers all had these sick black canvas (or was it denim?) overalls. I wonder if those are for sale? Seating is sparse, they've got tables along the sides and back, or you could eat in your car. The shack is small, don't expect to linger after getting your order. I probably won't be back. but all things considered, yeah this spot is hyped up heavy, but now I understand why.

I waited to try this place for so long so that the lines would taper off... But finally tried it on…read moreMemorial Day when I had the day off .... and so did the whole LA city lol. I won't bore you with the wait (but yes, we waited 40ish minutes). We got the typical matcha latte, and also the hojicha latte. I actually liked the hojicha one more! It held onto its hojicha essence, I feel like some places dilute it so much or add so much sugar. Here, you could taste the nuttiness of the hojicha, and I think there was a touch of maple syrup added. I liked the drink so much, I ordered hojicha powder online after (not the same, obviously!) Would I come back again? Yes.... but only during truly off-peak times because I don't think I can get myself to wait in line again lol.
