I purchased the gift card as a birthday gift for one of my group members. This building has a golf driving range on the 5th floor, so many people come here to practice golf. There is also a banquet hall, and many parties and events are held here. I've been here many times before, but this time I specifically came to stop by Starbucks. Every time I visit this Starbucks, the staff are always friendly. Also, when you buy something at this Starbucks, they validate the parking for one hour. Not sure what's up with the bad reviews. I visit this Starbucks multiple times a week and stay for hours at a time and EVERYTHING about this location exceeds expectations. The baristas here are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to satisfy customers. I know all of them by their names. They want you to feel welcomed and satisfied during your stay. They'll strike up a conversation with you while still maintaining efficiency and pumping out drinks. When mistakes are made, they won't hesitate to correct them and remake your drinks. The interior is sleek and modern. Seating is sometimes limited, but that's expected as it's in the heart of Koreatown. It can get busy but the baristas here are experts at handling the rushes. There are 4 small tables of 2 seats each, so expect to wait for seating to open up. There is also a wheelchair-accessible table. The staff regularly wipe down the tables and sweep the floors. You can expect it to always be clean. As of February (after their store renovation), this location no longer provides power outlets. Make sure that your devices are charged if you plan on studying/working here. They have a single-stall restroom that is always clean and well-maintained. Went today on 03/20/2025 placed a mobile order and was disappointed (at first) when I was given the wrong food item with my drink order from what I ordered and what was shown on the sticker. I hadn't noticed till I got to work and was able to return to see if I could switch out such item due to the mix up. I was helped out by Kat and after explaining the situation she was very apologetic for the mix up and made sure to get me my right order as soon as possible. I originally wrote a negative review about the mistake because of being given the wrong item (I was more upset because I was given like a $2 item when I paid for an $8 item) but ended up leaving happy and thankful the staff was understanding. This is probably due to simple over measurements or oversights due to the rush hour. But, cold brew? I dont understand how that would taste watery. The guy who rang in my order helped me pick the right combo for my drink and the barista was one of the friendliest I've ever met. This Starbucks kind of rubs you the wrong way.. Cashier is pleasant, but because of how busy this location is, the other workers aren't... Waited a while before getting my drink and they don't give you a straw. It's behind the counter 3 feet within staring distance. Barista that was 1 foot away from me did not acknowledge me while I was standing waiting to request a straw. Another customer after me got her drink, waited and stared at the barista also, but to no avail. Customer decided to walk to the side and grab the straw herself. After another minute, I decided to do the same, but was immediately scolded by the barista to ask for one. Oh poo, now you notice me? There should be a sign saying "Please request for straw," because half the customers I saw while waiting either awkwardly waited to be noticed or grabbed it real quick themselves. Was in the neighborhood on a day off and wanted to redeem my free, birthday offer. This location is in the heart of Koreatown, just steps from the Wilshire/Western corridor. That said, parking is hard to get, and the building this is located in, seems to only accommodate residents. I did manage to find street parking after a couple circles around the block, and found this location to be small and crowded around 12pm on a weekday. Although the line was short, I noticed the barista being rude to the Korean customer, yelling at him demanding what his name is. Sorry dude, but yelling at the customers won't make them understand English. With that vibe, I immediately felt uncomfortable here. Although the barista was kind to me, my Venti latte was horrible and barely tasted the Vanilla flavoring I asked for. Inside this starbucks are students to workers to employees and everything is so alive and up and running.. it really feels like you can psychologically enjoy your starbucks coffee break any day, any time. It's typically very crowded in the morning from 7:30am till about 9 then you might be able to walk straight up to the barista. If you come any time before 9, expect a wait...or order ahead. I've typically received good service here. Occasionally, my order gets lost in the shuffle or my mobile order gets lost but it's not often so no biggie. It's almost always packed with people sitting so don't expect to have space to sit and do work or meet with friends unless you plan ahead and go well before your meeting time to grab a few seats. Since it would take forever to walk there, I opt to drive which for me is an easy 3 minutes down 6th street, left Serrano Ave and park , which there is always plenty of metered parking. I so far have never had to wait more then 5 minutes in and out to retrieve my coffee and banana walnut bread and I'm back to work within 15 minutes total. That would be about the same amount of wait if I went to the Von's version of Starbucks or went to Coffee Bean. The staff at this location has always been very friendly and attentive. It's tiny so I wouldn't want to spread myself out here for hours but it works for me for my coffee fix. read more

Out of all the Starbucks I've been to in my lifetime, this one definitely stands out for poor service. The wait times are horrendous is you don't pre order through the app. There's an attitude problem with the employees here, I get it gets busy but there should never be a reason to be condescending towards adds a customer who had a simple question. People like going to a place where they feel welcome and the employees are grounded. There has been times where a female employees recognize would come in on her days off and glare at customers. I get a sense of entitlement as if she thinks she's too good to work there. This one star goes to the Starbucks Corp! I have been their gold card member for the past 3 years and end of last year I found out that I was due 7 free drinks. And if you have been following me, you should know my drinks cost at least $6. (adding esspresso shots) They offer to give me $25 credit on my starbucks card and send me 3 free drink post card. When I went in December, they refuse to take their own postcard because that program for get 15 stars and get a free drink has ended because of the new get 12 stars and get a drink or food for free. Now, I've had to spent more money to get 15 stars and they are refusing to let me use the postcard. What is worst was the so called "Manager On Duty" didn't even sound apologetic about not letting me use it. If it was Jason from the Torrance location he would somehow helped me. I have to come to this Starbucks many times- It is very popular. Don't be surprised if you have to wait- Not the best place to study but people study here- The drinks are ok...often they are too busy and they make it quick as possible so the drink may not taste so good.
