The coffee is delicious. I tried the turkey sandwich with fig spread and was blown away with the sweet and savory flavors. They have a variety of pastries that look so yummy.

I've been to Alfred multiple times by now and finally found my favorite drink, the Espresso Cloud Cream. My favorite part of course the cream on top, which is very sweet but also has a sprinkle of cocoa to balance it out. The latte itself, is just like any vanilla latte to me. There is street parking around the shop, but it tends to get super busy. When you get any drink, make sure to stop by the station they have with utensils and stuff to get something to mix the syrup on the bottom, this applies to their lattes and drinks in general. They took my order at the register and asked if I wanted any milk alternatives, etc. and were super nice! My drink came out very fast as well and they would call your order when it's ready. If you are able to, I would recommend online ordering just so it's faster! There is plenty of seating indoors as well as a few outdoors.

Very bright and white and plant base feel that you get here. Chairs are made of wood, and there is a lot of bright spaces to sit around. The chairs are really heavy to move for once so I know they are real wood! I must say it's not comfortable to sit for a long time unless there's a cushion or if your tush has cushioning! I couldn't sit here for long and there is no outlets if you're wanting to use your laptop. At least I couldn't find the outlets. Food wise there's a lot of different types of burritos but that's about it. It looks like it's package burrito that's warmed up for $15. But if you're hungry, you'll take anything. Coffee is what you should be here for. Love the espresso cloud coffee with the cream & the seasonal drinks here. The service is pretty good and attentive. They do have a tea selection that is on a separate menu that you have to ask for. overall, a nice place to get nice bright light while you take your coffee. Is at the corner so it's hard to miss and overall has decent parking availability considering it is the LA area.

My go-to coffee shop. The absolute best location with the nicest baristas working here. The staff knows my order by heart, and always welcomes everyone in with a smile. Parking is super easy here (street meter parking). A really chill setting as well. You guys are the best!

I love Alfred Coffee, it was my first time at this location. I usually go to the Melrose Place one. The ladies were very nice and attentive. I got the strawberry matcha and it was delicious. The ambience is super chill, you can work from there which I love. The aesthetic of the place is so chic.

I really can't say much but that this place is dope. The staff is super friendly. The customers are very nice as well, seems like they've built a good community. But the vanilla latte sold me for sure, it was subtly sweet and balanced with the espresso. There's plenty of seating and service is very fast.

A little overdue of a review. My family and I have been coming to this location every now for a little while now. Recently, I've been going there quite frequently picking up amazing too good to go bags. If I must say, this place definitely is one of my top too get to go bag vendors in the area. The coffee is always good. It's a coffee chain in LA so of course not really much special to that in my opinion. The customer service is always friendly. Some of the young ladies are more friendlier than others, but that's everywhere. Sometimes when I stop by after work in my work uniform, I feel like I get a little less friendliness than when I've come in off the clock. But I'm probably overreacting. Overall, I like this place, I recommend them for a good cup of coffee and bite to go, and if you're looking for amazing too good to go bags, like I mentioned, this place is great.

We came here after visiting a kpop store across the street. The shop is uber cute (we're from Hawaii, visiting) and zen-like with those most unique trademark. We love all the greenery in this place. Staff were friendly and found out my brother knows the owner (he's a PT) and raved about this place as well. I had the matcha latte and it was very tasty. The kid had the world famous vanilla latte and thought it was sweeter than she likes, but still tasty. Coming from Hawaii, not sure if we could ask for less sweet as we def would have. Still, the ambiance and multiple different seating areas made for a relaxing coffee break even though they're super busy. Good for them! We would definitely come back if ever in LA again!

Love this spot at this new location! Drinks are delicious. Service was very kind and informative! Quiet spot Perfect for a quick bite or a work Meeting or just to get away and read a book. Camilla was great! You can thank me later.

cute spot located on Beverly. spacious and plenty of seating inside. i arrived and they had my order sitting pretty and ready for pick up. i ordered their world famous vanilla latte - not really sure about the hype on this one. first couple of sips were good as i was getting most of the syrup that wasnt yet mixed in... after a couple of stirs everything tasted watered down and diluted. if there's a next time, i would maybe get light ice and an extra pump of syrup.

I saw this location while I was driving by and decided to make a stop. I parked around the corner and walked a whole 1 minute to get there. They have an outdoor seating section that's reminiscent of covid when streets were turned into outdoor patios for patrons to dine in. You do get close to the cars passing by and that can increase the noise level. On a nice day, may be nice to sit outside and just people watch if you don't mind the noise. Inside is very new, simple, modern, and there's a huge plant in the middle of a room where people can sit around it however, the seating isn't really comfortable. I ordered a simple iced latte. Service was welcoming and friendly, and my drink was prepared pretty quickly. The drink itself was very mild. It tasted very diluted. I wouldn't recommend the latte here, but maybe they have other menu options that are worth a visit.

Get the burritos back in stock, pls! Every time we go to an Alfred's, they are always sold out of the burritos. Each time we go, even when we watch online shows, they still have some. Also, please take into consideration in-person orders vs online. The online orders are completed faster than in-person, which is annoying and rude. The staff overall are great, Alfred Co., get it together with the stock supply, and prioritize the millions of online orders, while also attending to people waiting in person. It's took over 10 mins to have 2 drinks made....

Alfred Coffee on Beverly Blvd is a great spot for a quick caffeine fix. The modern design is stylish and inviting, and the place is spotless. Service is fast and friendly. Only downside, parking can be challenging.

The first thing that struck me was the restaurant itself. There is glass everywhere and a huge bar right in the middle that immediately catches your attention, along with an open kitchen toward the back. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. The hospitality started the minute we walked in. We checked our coats and were immediately greeted by a server holding glasses of champagne. That's my kind of welcome! This wasn't a traditional sit-down dinner. Instead, there were tables filled with food, including charcuterie and salmon salad, while servers circulated with additional appetizers. The chickpea balls, beef skewers, and beet appetizers were particularly fabulous. Drinks were limited to a preset menu, but that really didn't detract from the evening. The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, gracious, and constantly making sure everyone was taken care of, but never in an intrusive way. Even with a fairly large private event, there was an impressive amount of personal attention. I didn't stay particularly long, but I definitely left wanting to return. I can't really judge the neighborhood because it was dark and rainy and I went directly to the restaurant by rideshare, but given the circumstances, I was happy I had taken one. Beautiful restaurant, fabulous food, and, most importantly, exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. I would definitely come back.

Service 3.5 stars: Friendly and helpful but not very attentive. Food 3 stars: We stopped by for lunch on a weekday. They were serving their Brunch menu at that time. It featured a large assortment of offerings including soups, salads, specialty items such as Avocvado Toast and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, burgers, sandwiches and egg dishes such as Eggs Benedict, omelets, wraps and sandwiches and chillaquiles. We had the Zinc Benedict (Salmon), the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Avocado Toast. All were just OK but unfortunately lacked in plating/presentation and taste and were rather small for the price. Also their "poached" eggs are not really poached... they were steamed in molds, giving them more of a rubbery texture compared to a true poached egg. Drinks 3.5 stars: Full bar, specialty cocktails and mocktails, specialty coffee/tea/matcha and juices. I had the Iced White Mocha, which was ok.

At this price point, there are better restaurants with faster service to visit nearby. - - - - - - Zinc, what an element - pun intended. I've been wanting to visit for a while, not knowing what the interior or exterior looked like, with knowledge only that it was a popular spot. The entrance was difficult to find and may be heavy with that metal gate. I tried relentlessly to find a hostess this Friday night with success finally after five minutes. I ended up sitting outdoors by the calm, rectangular fountain. After about 10 minutes, a server checked in with me for ordering, but they never handed me a menu - awkward! Menu in hand, I ended up ordering their Truffle Fries and their Chicken Pesto Orecchiette. My server ended up bringing out water and generously a cup of ice (it was triple digit heat on this day). Finally after about 30 minutes, I had my Truffle Fries appetizer, and it was good with their dips. They were thin and crisp, though very heavily salted. Around quite literally 30 minutes later, the Chicken Pesto Orecchiette was ready and served. By this time, I was not so hungry anymore, but I still took a few bites. The chicken had potential, but it was super dry, perhaps overcooked. Though I enjoy a chewy pasta, the Orecchiette was pretty hard and not too al dente. My favorite part of this dish was probably the pesto and pine nuts. The sundried tomatoes were nice, though maybe a bit too sweet for this dish. Paying took about 15 minutes to flag down my server, and around another 15 minutes to get a takeout box. I'm not sure what it was that evening, but it was very slow. During my visit, I even saw a table get up and leave because of slow service - sad! I feel this is no fault of the server but rather the lack of staffing OR the large space. Perhaps having a smaller dining area for slower times may improve the dining experience.

We ordered the tostaditas de atún agua chile negro, beet salad, carne asada taco and Al pastor taco and watched the World Cup game. Distrito Catorce combines exceptional food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. Definitely plan on coming back to watch more World Cup games.

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

We started with two recommended "must haves" - biscuits and cornbread. For 6 people, you only need two servings of each. Beautifully displayed. The evenly, golden brown cornbread, topped with a healthy dollop of soft creamy butter, melted in your mouth. The biscuits were light and flaky - you can see the gently layers as if it were a French croissant. Since we all wanted either chicken, pork chop and steak, we ordered one of each which was plenty for the 6 of us to share. The half chicken was so tender and popped with juice. Same with the pork chop which is hard to cook without being dry and tough. I cannot speak for the steak but those that devoured it said it was cooked to perfection. We ordered an assortment of vegetable side dishes to share - a chef that can turn vegetables into something so delectable that would make every taste bud in your mouth jump for joy, is heaven sent. Service was equally top-notch. The ambiance, with smooth music in the background and the perfect volume level where you all can have a comfortable conversation without trying to talk over loud noise. Lovely indoor or semi-outdoor dining seating. It was a memorable evening with fine cuisine & friends. Cheers to the chef and staff that made it magical.
