I had the worst experience at this Starbucks. I wouldn't typically go on Yelp, rather than ask for a manager but I'm on the road and don't have time to talk to someone. The girl at the counter, Candy, was extremely rude and cold. I brought my own mug in to just grab a quick cup of coffee. She was peeved that I didn't know what size of coffee to order, I guessed a grande but I've gone to hundreds of Starbucks over the years with my own mug, and never been asked. They just charge me a price and fill up my cup. She not only wasted their paper grande cup, by filling it then dumping the coffee into my mug, then throwing in the trash (the whole point of bringing my own cup is to not waste one of the paper cups), but she completely overfilled my cup and just handed it to me expecting me to be able to walk away with an overflowing up. She looked furious and upset, and as a service industry worker, I just want to say: "Candy, I think you're in the wrong industry!". read more

Stopped by this Starbucks on my way to NorCal. It was conveniently locate by Tejon mall. Staffs were very and accomodating. They ran out of matcha, so the barista suggested a decaf which was tasty. It took them 10 mins to serve our drink despite long waiting line. read more

This is great location if you need to make a pit stop on your way to SoCal, last exit before you hit the grapvine. There are not a lot of Starbucks along the 5 and this one seems to be the biggest. There a ton of places to get a quick bite to eat such as in and out, chipotle, Panda, McDonald's etc. Added bonus - outlets will be opening soon :) Drive thru is painless and I was in and out in no time to get my starbucks fix. read more

Went to grab an iced gingerbread chai latte but unfortunately the location was all out of the gingerbread syrup. This usually our go to stop when we are in the area. We went to use the restroom and get a drink. We saw how dirty the bathrooms were, we turned around and didn't order anything. A gross bathroom usually means they aren't keeping the kitchen as clean as they should. I'm not eating food out of a place that looks like that. Super sad! read more

Supposedly opens at 4:30, I placed my order outside and walked in at 4:30 to wait for them to prepare my order. I stood there for 2 minutes and was asked to wait outside because they were running late. It's been 15 minutes now, I can see my coffee from the window and the doors are still not open. Every time I stop here I always receive excellent customer service. They get busy on the weekends due to many people traveling over the grapevine but they are hard workers and always make sure the customer is happy. Yesterday was no exception as it was Easter and they were slammed both in drive thru and inside. I decided to go inside and was helped by a young man named Gavin. COVID 19 has really hit a lot of places hard and with this place it was no exception. Service was slow and has been slow even prior to the pandemic as this is my 5th time ordering from here. This place is the worst, mobile ordered coffee and a croissant, waited over 20 min. Lines out the door, not enough workers (8am on a Saturday). Coffee comes and asked about the food lady says curtly it will come out separately...ok when? Asked another guy and he said he didn't have one under my name? Finally go over to the other side and the lady heating up food tells me that they are "a busy travel store and I'd have to wait behind everyone else" rude af. Just had to leave without it. They had food just piled up next to the oven in bags, if they were so backed up like this why don't they add another oven?! What a concept. Add more workers or a better/more efficient system if they know they are a "busy travel store." Made my drink wrong. I Asked for a black and white hot Chocolate made breve. They didn't make it breve and only did white chocolate. I didn't even mention that they made it with the wrong milk. But told them that there was no mocha, just white mocha. I used to be an employee for Starbucks so I understand it can be frustrating to remake drinks. But we got a rude response and they did not even remake my drink. The man at the window just added a pump of mocha to my drink instead of remaking it. He was rude about even having to remake it and was complaining to his coworkers that he had to add mocha. I was charged for the mocha as well, so it's not like the tag didn't say it. I opened my drink and it was white so no mocha. He gave no apology and was practically rolling his eyes when I asked for my drink to be fixed. Very dissatisfied with this service. Be prepared to wait in a 25+ minute line, only to get to the front and discover that they ran out of what you ordered (in my case a cold brew). So you order three shots of espresso over ice and they tell you it's gonna be a 20 minute wait on your coffee. Really quite a miserable experience. I won't stop here again. read more

There is no other way to describe this Starbucks other than a Roadside Starbucks as it located right off of Interstate 5 and it is obviously set up to handle the traveler. I have passed this Starbucks ever since it opened several years ago and have often thought to stop in simply to check it out. Finally, I did. First of all, this Starbucks is easy to get to off of the 5. You just pull off and follow your way to the sign. It is also easy to get back on the 5 once you have picked up your beverage. So, if you need that quick pick-me-up, this is your place. Inside, it is large and well designed. They have a few tables but it doesn't really seem that this location was designed with that in mind. But, that's fine. It is open, airy, and inviting. It is important to note that they have a very large bathroom at this location. Whereas most Starbucks simply have the one stall: one-man and one-women bathroom, this one has multiple interior stalls. Again, this was obviously set up to handle the travelers. This location is a drive-thru Starbucks. What I have found with many of the drive-thru locations is that they really cater to their drive-thru clientèle. This is not the case with this location, however. In fact, I was amazed at how quickly they made my drink. Overall, the staff is nice, the location is clean, and they are fast. When you need that on-the-road pick-me-up this is a good place to get it. read more

Stopped by this evening on the way home to L.A. as I saw the sign on the 5 freeway off ramp. The location was hard to find as they did not have the exterior lights on.... and the sun had set a couple of hours prior. As I walked up to the location I was appalled at the overflowing trash cans and rubbish all over the parking area, what is normally the outdoor seating area and entry to the shop itself. Having been on the road I chose to utilize the restroom before ordering coffee. Starbucks is known for clean restrooms - evidently no one shared that with this location...It was DISGUSTING. Trash and filth all over the floor - No Toilet Paper and fecal matter all over the toilet....I thanked God I was a guy and was truly happy I only had to pee. I was thankful they had soap....and used my shirt to open the door as there were no paper towels available. This location had four slovenly female employees working in varying degrees of uniform. The weird thing? This Starbucks' interior was devoid of coffee drinkers and there was no line to order. In hindsight...I get it. The place is an unholy mess. I ordered my coffee and the lady working filled the order. I then told her how disgusting the men's restroom was and she laughed and said there were no guys on duty and the girls did not clean the men's room and it would have to wait until a guy was on duty. I was stunned. (And no...Im not all prissy and such...it really was that gross and surreal). I then told her that I was shocked how dirty everything was as Starbucks were always clean and she just looked at me blankly and shrugged and gave me this "whatever" look. I walked over to add milk and sweetener to my coffee and at BOTH condiment stations the trash was overflowing, the napkin dispensers were empty, and there were no stir sticks and the creamers were empty and the containers were as sticky and dirty as the counter tops. I had to ask for creamer from the slob petulant barrista who grudgingly took the two empty containers I handed her. As I left I noticed the A rating from the health department....I have to wonder at the standards of Lebec, California. I have never seen such a gross poorly managed Starbucks.....I am so grossed out four hours later that Im about to write Starbucks corporate. Never again at this location. Yuk. read more

So much hate on this starbucks! It's an A-OK stop for me. I travel up and down the 5 probably once a month if not more and Tejon Ranch is the only stop I ever make for gas, food, coffee necessities. The bathrooms are clean here, although it may depend on the season because certain holidays cause a build up of people coming up and down the grapevine, but they try! Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer season can be a heck of a lot busier and cause worse experiences, but it still is a decent location. I've had bad experiences here, hence the A-OK, but I acknowledge this place gets super swamped sometimes and the workers do the best they can in my opinion. I've waited 20 minutes for a drink that a server finally realized she gave to someone else. They've got a good selection of pastries, sandwiches and bottled drinks, but there's always a chance they may sell out of things if it's busy. Parking is a breeze thankfully, just be careful as the layout of this side of the rest stop is bizarre. Mobil, SB, and McD all share this huge lot and there's no real lanes so you'll need to be on the look out for cars! read more

The exterior had trash on the ground and overflowing trash cans. The interior was filthy. The bathroom had broken toilet paper dispensers, leaking sink and both hand dryers weren't functioning. The baristas were rude to each customer ahead of us and also with us. We received some of our order and waited for an iced coffee. When the iced drink was up I was told to sit down and I would be called when the order was ready. WHAT? Nope. Easy on and off the freeway. Smallish store with Tesla supercharges out back. No, it's not the biggest, or the fastest I've ever been to, but so what. They did run out of half and half, which was a first for me at a 'Bucks but they managed to find something else. This is a traveler's joint and rightly so. The girl told me "no...she hadn't seen my name" while sort of looking. 8 more minutes went by and I asked again because now it had been 18 minutes since the order ready time. Service was slow and the woman at the drive up window handed me my coffee and her finger area was full of little cuts from biting her nails and the area around it until it bleeds. Needless to say we were grossed out she had her hands on the cup with open little cuts all over. In our opinion, she should have food service gloves on.
