I stop here every single time I drive by. The bathrooms are very clean, they even decorate for holidays which is always cute! There are many gas pumps so you rarely ever have to wait for gas. The food nearby makes this the perfect pit stop. The employees are always very friendly. PERFECT place for letting your dogs out for a quick meal/potty break. So much grass!! The whole center on the South Bound side has grass by every business. But there is a large patch of grass on the backside of the 76 station. Beware of bottle caps, cigarette butts, and anything else you don't want your dog eating.. but that's not the business's fault. Some people just suck and don't clean up after themselves even tho there are garbage bins nearby making it super easy to clean up after yourself / picking up after your dog. I feel lame saying I love this gas station haha. but it's genuinely my favorite stop along I-5. I feel safe, clean, comfortable at this well maintained, busy stop. So I know this is a a strange review because it's just a gas station. It's a decent station off of the 5 headed into the grapevine , but the reason for my review is the bathroom. Being public restroom phobic I never attempt to go to public restrooms. My motto hold it until you burst, but the grapevine I thought better not chance it we still had over and hours drive home. So we stopped here and let me just say it's the rolls Royce of public bathrooms. It was nicely decorated with a Hawaiian theme, everything was clean, every stall was clean and the smell was amazing. Still had a quarter tank but it was best to fill up - just in case. I was headed down southbound 5 and decided to take this exit. My intention was to go to the first gas station on my right, but I zoomed by too fast. Made a U-turn and ended up here instead. It's better I ended up here anyway since the freeway entrance was right thurrrrr... I was a little annoyed filling up because the pump kept stopping when I knew for fact the tank wasn't filled up yet. So, it was a game of pump stop-and-start for a few minutes until I knew I was pretty close to a full tank. Not fun. I went in the GoASIS store for a quick bathroom break and I was immediately impressed. Naturally had similar items of most gas station stores but this place was so dang clean and organized. If that wasn't enough, the bathroom didn't only smell TOO clean, they decked it out with Easter décor. Who does that?! And as a few fellow Yelpers mentioned, their gas prices = more than fair. Staff were efficient and friendly. I can let that whole pump issue go. Gotta take note to make a stop here if needed. Definitely recommending. read more

If your pulling in at night it is very well lighted to give you some sense of security. This location is clean and well maintaned. This place had the best price for fuel at this exit TODAY according to the Gas Buddy App. It's an easy on easy off the 5 freeway. The Goasis mini mart has lots of stuff. There are a LOT of places travelers can go to eat at this stop so there are a lot of reasons to get off at this exit...HOWEVER, if you have the chance to visit this 76 mini mart anywhere near ANY HOLIDAY SEASON you really need to stop in. It's only January 18 and yet this place is fully decorated for Valentines Day! And VERY WELL DONE! I asked the clerk if it's JUST special for Valentine's...she said NO! What you would expect from a gas station. Plenty of pumps all working and gas priced in the average range. Easy in and out station, too. We stopped here in our road trip, while husband filled up the tank I went inside to their convenience store for some snacks. I was greeted instantly and found that this store was well stocked. I got some caffeinated drinks and picked up a few munchies to tide us over to lunch. The line went quick and we were out on the road shortly after. I also have to add this place is easy to get to from the freeway, always a bonus. The same can be said for getting back on the freeway. It's worth a pit stop. read more

I didn't get gas so I can't speak much for the price of that, however, if you are traveling over the grapevine this is the perfect spot to use the restroom. They keep the restrooms extremely clean, it's always stocked and like other have mentioned, they have cute decorations up. The store has a good range of snacks and drinks to choose from if you don't stop at one of the nearby food places. There's also a well kept, large grass area behind the gas station that is a safe spot to take your dogs to the restroom. read more

Stopped to buy a phone charger for our phone and the charger was marked 12.99 on the item and she charged us 15.99. when we told her she said so I don't care. When we told her it was against the law to sale us an item for a higher amount she said so.. she said I'm going to take them off the floor right now. She still charged us the $15.99. her name is Christina. She gave us the business card for the corporate store call them she said. They don't care either, we don't really care about our customers we are just here to work a job. You could t ll she was either drunk or high. Don't stop here!!! 2016 - Goodbye Chevron/Hello Union 76 2019 - Goodbye TCA's Minit Mart/Hello to the EG Group's, GOASIS In spite of all the changes that I've seen come & go here; this gas station/convenience store location has become part of my customary stops whenever I'm driving the I-5 HWY. Of all the gas stations/convenience marts along the I-5, THIS is one of the better ones! I've been traveling on this stretch of asphalt for quite some time... 'Before there was asphalt. I'm kidding but just say that I used to make this trip about 3-4 times a month when I lived in the SF Bay Area; work. Now, that I live in SoCal; not so often but it is a nice drive IF you're prepared. A few important things about the SoCal to SF Bay Area drive: 1. Do not drive if you are fatigued. (i.e. - Fighting to stay awake) 2. Stop, stretch your legs, & take a break. 3. Pack drinks & snacks appropriate for road trip'n. (A double-double, animal style, is not a driver friendly option unless you don't mind wearing it.) 4. If driving solo; it doesn't hurt to have a "road trip'n, friend on the phone," to help you pass the time. (i.e. - Hands free, of course) I've stopped by here @ all times of the day, from the wee hours of the morning, the afternoon, and the witching hour. I even ran into the donut delivery guy one early am. You can't get donuts any fresher from a gas station/minimart than that!... 'And they were! As many people have mentioned, some of the cleanest restrooms you will find on your road trip & that is no accident. Whoever is running this place knows what makes people return, a clean pack to squat and plot is what most people look for when traveling on the road... 'And when I say, "most people," I mean women. Well, unless you're a skinny jeans wearing, 90#, prettier than most girls, kind've guy; then you're the exception. When writing about the bathrooms, people are actually referring to the minimart, GOASIS. Now, they can't hold a candle to the Harris Ranch facilities but not too many places can. Harris Ranch has The Best restrooms you'll find on the I-5 without renting a room or staying at a relatives. I'm joking! It's nicer than your relatives. If you happen to travel during the holidays, prepare to pee & poop in festive splendor; true story. In 2019, when I first saw the GOASIS placard hanging above the store front I was curious as to what happened to Minit Mart. Who is GOASIS and what did they do with the previous owner? Without getting into too much detail like I did in my yelp*view of the GOASIS location just across the overpass on the NB side of the I-5 in Arvin; I'll get to the punch. In 2018, the EG Group, a UK based operation purchase all of the Minit Mart store front locations from Travel Centers of America; paying close to $331 million. The GOASIS branding is part of EG Groups plan to revive these locations. I'm a bit confused in regard to the branding as I've read that locations were supposed to be rolled out as "EG America." However, instead the GOASIS brand is being used which has been around for some time but predominantly in the east. I read about some possible changes, a new fountain drink system as being one of them. As most people find, prices @ these spots next to the highway aren't going to be the most competitive for gas, food, and beverages... 'BUT nonetheless, you'll find some pretty interesting items that you wouldn't find @ most other places. For example, you never know when you might need a $10 walking stick on your 500 mile road trip... GREAT, I bought two. (True) People have mentioned their extensive selection of licorice & they're right, it's impressive. Once, I bought two packs, root beer & black licorice... 'And I threw away two packs at the next rest area. I thought about tossing them out the window but I don't believe in throwing garbage from a moving vehicle & I just couldn't put the wildlife @ risk. One word, "Fuknratassnasty." I think I threw up a little but it wasn't all bad; at least it got that nasty licorice taste out of my mouth. Waste money. However, even with the nasty licorice, this is still one of my favorite places to take a break whether I need to stop or not. In addition, there's a great, grassy area in the rear of the store for those traveling with dogs... 'And for pets too. I'm just kidding!... 'Or am I? Some of the cleanest restrooms on I-5. Wide selection of Taurine-based energy drinks, cigarettes, and various coffee drinks. If you like individually-wrapped Hostess pastries and salty things, you'll do fine here. Gas isn't cheap but cheaper than Orange County or Inyo County or Nevada County... depending on where you're heading, might as well fill up. Easier trailer access if you're towing. Small dog-leak area to the east of the property and plenty of turn-around space. They still have their Independence Day decorations up. USA! USA! read more

Would leave the 0 stars if I could. I walked to the cashier on 7/15/22 around 4:25-4:30pm and asked for change to buy lottery tickets from their lottery machine that doesn't give change. The girl at the front was fine and asked the taller guy switching out the cash machine if he could give me five $1 bills. He made it very apparent that he was irritated a customer was asking for change to spend money in their establishment and aggressively asking several times "why does she need it". The girl tells him she needs it for the lottery machine and he repeatedly asks the same question like I'm not present. I'm pretty sure he didn't really care if I was there or not. I tell him "I need it for your lottery machine that doesn't give change". Clearly, this didn't change the situation. He could have just lied to me and nicely say he doesn't have change. That's all he had to say. I just took my cash and said " forget about it, I'll go somewhere else. You guys are RUDE". The girl yells out "have a good day mam". Not sure if she was patronizing me or not. I took my business elsewhere. I was shocked how they treat customers here. My advice: Learn how to treat people or find another job where you don't need to deal with others! I will make sure never to come back to this location again. read more

There are plenty of gas pumps here, and I must say the quality of their bathrooms are unlike anything else. Called "GOasis" it's easy on/off from Highway 5. Subway inside, but lots of alternatives within the vicinity. What did it for me are the super clean, great smelling restrooms! This place has very clean bathrooms and has a very good selection of drinks and snacks and I like to go here just before I start going over the Grapevine. This place has gas and everything you need to be able to keep going on a long Trek. We ran across Union 76 which had very high reviews and many claimed that it had a super clean restroom. We decided to make a pitstop here to check it out and found this to be very true! Wow! Cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a public place. I am impressed. I would have taken a picture of the clean and spring decorated bathroom, but there were several customers making deposits and washing their hands. The mirrors and walls were decorated with flowers and it was a nice touch. There wasn't one piece of paper on the floor, the counters were clean, and all the toilets were in working order. As I left the restroom, an employee was mopping the floor. The Mini Mart was also clean and well stocked. We filled up the car with gas and headed on our way. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gas stations for all of your needs before getting on the Grapevine to Southern California!
