This is my go-to gas station whenever I drive from Sacramento/Elk Grove to So Cal; my only gas station stop for the whole trip one-way when starting with a full tank. Pretty reliable gas station in the Tejon Ranch Outlets area (a.k.a. not in the middle of nowhere). I docked a star because my petty self wishes that the snack selection in the mart was larger lol (gotta keep myself awake with some munchies during the monotonous I-5 drive). Still strongly recommend going to this gas station though before/after you hit the I-5 mountain area. read more

Every time I make a trip down and back from OC I stop here. It has the cleanest bathroom along the route besides Harris Ranch's which is often my other stop. My go-to spot to get gas when traveling down the 5. Prices are often 10¢/gallon or so more than others but it's a reliable spot because the gas pump fills my car up all the way, there are a ton of pumps to choose from, and getting in and out is pretty easy. On my way to LA I got a warning that I had a tire pressure issue; however, the involved tire wasn't designated. I stopped at Mobil to inflate my tires but didn't see the indicator for tire pressure on the air pump. I went in and spoke to Sabrina who went out of her way to go to her car and get her tire gauge. She proceeded to help me check and adjust all 4 of my tires. She was so kind and really went above and beyond. Our family was so appreciative of her assistance!!! How odd to review a Mobil? But this is my favorite mobil to come to! Anytime I head into Los Angeles or back to Sacramento I make a stop at this huge rest stop and come to this Mobil for gas and usually for a bathroom break if needed. This location can be a bit more difficult because the entrance is a bit disorganized, so be on the lookout for cars exiting from Starbucks and coming to get gas from Mcdonalds. Regardless, I find this gas station more convenient than going to the one on the left side with the subway in it. The bathrooms are always clean (at least in my experience over the last two years) and they have a good handful of stalls. In addition staff is usually friendly, which makes for good experiences. Be aware though, holiday seasons will make this place a nightmare, in my opinion if you hit holiday traffic use the mobil that has the subway connected to it so that your right by the stoplight. Eventually someone will let you out and it puts you ahead of everyone else attempting to get back on the dreaded freeways. read more

This is a place I visit quite often when I go down to CA, however this last time I went, my card was charged twice! I was there really early this past Tuesday morning (04/18) and paid for $10 worth of gas and 2 other things, the guy at the counter swiped my card for $14.90 and I then went outside to fuel up my car. Right before I left, the guy from the counter came outside to tell me my card didn't go through and that he would need to swipe again. So, I have him my card and he ran it again for $10. I live in Colorado, so when I got back home, I checked my bank balances and both times the guy swiped my card went through! I have been calling since Wednesday trying to get this sorted out and keep getting the run around, apparently there are 3 petro locations all close together. And the name hat was on the receipt was "Juan" and for some reason they can't seem to find any employee by that name. And on top of that, I was there super early. I wAs literally the only customer at this location for the whole 10 minutes I was there. How can they not figure this out?? I called again this morning and a girl named "Amanda" said she would try and figure it out and call me back. It's 04/21/2017 7:26am, lets see how long it takes. Petro, I'm a looooong time customer and have never had any complaints about your services, but this last visit... Wow, you guys are slacking. I'll update my review if/ when they get this taken care of. Update: it is 04/24/2017 and "Amanda" never called back. Driving across Hwy 46, plus south on Interstate 5 it was a butterfly apocalypse. Hundreds of bugs committed suicide against my windshield and the windshields of my fellow travelers. In unison we all pulled off at Laval Rd. and headed for one of the two Mobil stations. At the station on the south side of the street, the pumps were not accepting credit cards - I tried three different cards. The line to pay was LONG, so I left and drove across the street to the other Mobil station. The card readers at the pump worked great, but all the window wash buckets were empty. I went inside to ask if someone was going to fill the buckets. The clerk lied to me and said "They're refilling them now." I went back outside, pumped gas, went back inside to use the restroom, came back outside and no one was filling the buckets. There were a lot of complaints from motorists who could not made a dent in the bug-pocalypse on their windshields - and apparently this place doesn't care. read more

I think there's a trend here. Clean Bathrooms!!! And not just clean, but also updated, decorated, and filled with charm! When I went, they had a Hawaiian theme going on! There were seashells, flowers, nautical props, and cute beach-themed signs hanging from the walls. If it isn't clean, simply tell one of the employees and they will send someone to clean it up asap. (Instead of coming in here to moan and complain like Yelpers love to do). Obviously, it is also a gas station and the prices were competitive when I went. The cleanliness and attention to detail was enough to warrant a review from me. Maybe I will schedule my stops here instead of Buttonwillow or anywhere else! read more

This review is for the traveler, that needs to stop and have a bathroom break. I mean, it's a Mobil station... they have gas, goodies, etc... but, it has bathrooms. I can only speak for the men's room... but it was extremely clean, didn't stink, and was actually decorated for St Patty's day. All things being equal, at a popular stopping point, the most important thing for me is the restroom... and this site was doing it right... They has 3 staff working, so that's another key... The area to gas up is well lit up, almost bizarrely so, and the restrooms are extremely pleasant and clean, so much so that it prompted me to write this review. We travel often to Southern California and this is the place you want to stop. CLEAN CLEAN and amazing smelling restrooms!!! Great friendly stop, the convenience store is very nicely stocked up. Gas prices are good but even if it was the priciest I'd still spend my money here in appreciation for keeping their restroom so clean and smelling amazing!!! Just can't say how much I appreciate it because a restrooms says so much about a business and also speaks volumes as to how much the owner cares about keeping their clientele content. We stopped here on our way home from LA to the Bay Area. I thought it would be another run of the mill pit stop in the middle of a long drive, but I was pleasantly surprised! The station itself is very large. Tons of pumps, I can't tell you exactly how many, but it was at least 14-16. The drive way area around the pumps is huge too, so I can imagine if it got crowded, you would still be able to navigate easily. The thing that really stood out to me was how clean the bathrooms were. They were literally spotless. And they had adorable heart/Valentine's decorations on the walls. Definitely not something you see in a lot of gas stations! The attendant was polite, he was an older man, he even offered to make a new pot of coffee for my husband. The inside of the store was also very clean and huge!! If I can remember where this station is specifically, the next time we drive to LA, we will definitely be stopping by again. read more

Friends of Interstate 5, there's nothing I hate more after 5 hours of traveling in speed up slow down interstate travel to walk into a gas station to find the bathrooms are covered in urine and crap. I am impressed by this gas station! So surprised to see they have a pet area for pets to go potty and walk around. I really appreciate it as a dog owner, even my dogs are not with me at that time. Their store is the cleanest gas station store I have ever been. And you probably can find everything you need. Super nice, and one of the cleanest rest stops that I think I've ever seen on I-5. Maybe because the whole area is still new? There are plenty of stalls in the ladies room (no lines on a big holiday travel week!!!) and nicely decorated for the holidays including poinsettia plants on the countertops between the sinks. read more

Admittedly, a bit annoyed that the gas price jumps 20¢ a gallon from the Flying J at the top of the Grapevine (and I don't quite rank Mobil gas at the same premium grade as the neighboring Shell, which is sold at the same price). This review is actually for the restrooms at the nearby sister location at 5818 Dennis McCarthy Dr. (Minit Mart C-Store 390), but from the looks of the other reviews, both of these locations are just about as CLEAN as CLEAN can be. If I hadn't seen it for myself, I might not have believed it. Not only does the men's restroom look brand new, they have added some decorations to make it almost like home. This Mobil gas station is just one of the many fuel places to you can go to at this travel stop off the 5. It's a great place to stop and get gas before heading north on the 5 or the 99. As you go further north the prices will greatly increase because they can gouge you out in the middle of nowhere. This station has a crap load of pumps and space making it convenient to gas for larger RV trailers and diesel vehicles. The inside mini mart has plenty of food and drinks for the road as well. read more

It is a very nice place to stop, either before going up the Grape Vine if you're going south on the I-5 or have just come down from Grape Vine going North on the I-5. The bathroom is clean and was being checked on by an employee to make sure everything was clean and kept stocked. The set up of the little mart was very open and not super cluttered. I also found the cutest stand with the funniest and sweetest little stone carvings they had in the store. The place is very well maintained and the people here are nice. There is also a Starbucks and Panda Express on either side of it and a McDonald's around too. No complaints here. read more
