First of all my coffee was luke warm. That should not have happened. Luckily I was not in the drive-through. And the place was dirty. There are three large hanging dome lamps over a big center table, and they were covered with dust. The vents on the ceiling were filthy. This store is usually pretty busy and things take a long time to come out but it's pretty decent. My drinks usually taste good but sometimes it's a hit or miss. The barista's are pretty nice though and seem like they work too hard. read more

I would give it negative stars here if I could. I'm unsure if this rep should be in the customer service industry. She was getting noticeably pissed off over the speaker as I was about half way into my order. Her voice did a complete 180 as I was customizing my drink because she didn't seem to like that AT ALL. When I got to the pick up window within a few seconds of placing my order with no one in front of me I heard her talking negative about me and my order to another employee AS I WAS STARING AT HER. I don't know if I can give a company my hard earned money to be treated so poorly. It's unfortunate how employees like this taint the brand as a whole. From my rough calculation, I've spent close to 1k/yr at Starbucks but after this experience, I don't think I will be returning to Starbucks anymore thanks to this rep by the name of Allison per the store manager. I usually come to this location since it's the closest to where I work. I order my coffee almost everyday and in the last 2 days I went I didn't like my coffee and I asked the person that was there if they can remake it I'm not sure what her name is but she is some skinny Asian lady and oh my she is so rude! The worst Starbucks to date! Don't get me wrong I love my Starbucks but be prepared to wait over 20 min for a drink and there was literally no wait at the counter. I stayed over my boyfriend as we were going to Disneyland for my birthday. We wanted to start the day with a tasty treat and walked straight to the counter to order 2 coffees (iced cold brew at that). We then had to wait over 20 minutes over the sea of mobile orders. I inquired about the drink order they were still 15 min behind... are you kidding me! Not only did we not get our drinks I was late meeting with friends because who goes to get coffee and wait 30 min!!!!!!! Long story we got a refund but who cares it definitely affected my birthday morning!!! Oh and kicker is it was a weekday morning!!! Ugh anyway... So with all the Starbuck choices just pass this one! Yesterday, I ordered 2 espresso on Ice and I had to wait for 30 min for my coffee. My first drink was ready and they frogot about my other drink. This morning, I put it an online order, I got there at the pick up time and waited 42min for my drinks. Every time I ask about an update, they'll confirm that it's in the works. After 30 minutes of waiting, one of the employees comes out to let us know they lost our order. He didn't even say sorry, didn't even try to offer a complimentary drink or pastry. So does it take 45 minutes to make an espresso? Change that management there! read more

the drive-in at this location is definitely what makes it most advantageous. The fact that you were able to just kind of sit in your car and wait to get your delicious Starbucks coffee or something I appreciate. Just went to Starbucks and asked the person working the register if it would be ok to get another drink made because my drink didn't taste correct. Something missing. I was not rude. Things like that happen. Lots of drinks being made. The gentleman was very polite and said no problem. JORDAN was Standing next to him, making drinks, looked at the label on my cup and then looked at me and ROLLED HIS EYES at me. I looked at Jordon and asked him... did you just roll your eyes at me? And told him that was very impolite. In fact that was rude. Went to ask who the manager was and ended up being the gentleman who took my request at the register. I enjoy coming to this Starbucks because the location is convenient, but I hate coming here when this cashier Michelle is working. I pull to the speaker to place in my order, then I pull up to the window and I have the app ready to redeem some more points, but I guess apparently I don't pull up close enough to the window and that's when Michelle becomes rude. She claims that she can't reach and then she says I have to get closer. I don't have to do anything. If Michelle can't reach, than that's her problem. I used to work at a drive thru and I would get customers who park too far from the window all the time but I make it work. After I receive my order, Michelle doesn't even offer if I would like some straws. After I asked for straws, Michelle would give me this mean look as if I asked her to go build a house. For some reason, when I come to this location and Michelle is working, she's always a pain in my ass. read more

I dunno if there's a point in writing a review for a Starbucks but I really only like this one because it might be the only one in Irvine that has a drive thru. And there's a lot of days where I'm antisocial and not in the mood to get out of my car for whatever reason, so that's a major plus. Why all Starbucks don't have drive thrus is beyond me. One thing to note though is that this one doesn't always have the same items available as others. This one is often missing food items and runs out of things a lot. So my expectations are low for this one, but I forgive it just for the fact that I don't need to leave my car to get it. read more

Excellent customer service experienced at this Starbucks. Long drive thru line doesn't equate to them being especially busy. If you're able to park and run in, you may find a nearly empty store. This place is right off Irvine center drive this location is pretty convenient. They renovated recently and it has a much nicer decor. It's always packed though so I wonder why they didn't consider expanding the space rather than merely making it look nicer. Still the people are nice and the coffee is good. Mainly decided to review this place to give props to Rudy, who was the person in front that helped me with my order. I originally ordered a Teavana beverage but was not too fond of the flavor and asked for a switch to regular coffee instead. He was quick to help out and had another associate make me an iced coffee, but the girl who made me drink ended up packing it to the brim with ice. There was so much ice that I couldn't even stick my straw into the drink so I ended up bothering Rudy again, who was all too nice to switch my super iced coffee into a larger cup and top off with a bit more coffee. It's good quick service that deserves recognition, so thanks Rudy for showing good service. Overall this Starbucks is fine as well. Clean, has a drive through, and parking isn't too bad even though it shares a lot with multiple businesses. read more

They were busy as it was morning but not terribly busy to leave us standing there waiting to be acknowledged. The drinks are good. I always get the pink drink. Tasty coconut milk with strawberries. Disappointed with this location. Alicia and Sabrina were very rude and unprofessional. Long story short I waited over 20 min to order at the speaker I told Alicia I placed a drive thru order she said I would need to wait in line and then park and get my order. From that point it took eight minutes to get to the pick up window. At the window she rudely said I would need to go park and wait for my order when I asked why that was as I had waited in line for over 25 min at this point she rudely answered well You placed it on the app 12 seconds before I went to take your order. I thought I was making it easier by placing the order on the app while in line and just picking it up in drive thru. I questioned why I would need to park and wait as I've done this in the past at another location and never had issues she rudely said we're busy and have other customers and I was confused by this as I've never had this problem when I was trying to understand so as not to have this problem again and she walked away as I was speaking to taking another order. I waited in my car, unaware that I needed to now walk inside for my order. Walked inside to pick up my order. Asked Sabrina at mobile pick up what the employee's name was who took my order she asked me why I said because I felt she was rude and would like her name. She told me that she was on the headset and that Alicia was not rude and that she did not feel comfortable giving me her name as she felt she did nothing wrong. I was able to see Alicia's name by this point. I grabbed my order and walked away. Not a good experience. I will just avoid this location in the future. read more

SLOW SERVICE AND DRIVE THRU LINE IS SO LONG in the Mornings. We've seen a few pedestrians almost get hit since the line is sooo long and people are trying to walk to their businesses or walk into Starbucks. Person taking the order is slow, person handing the drinks is even slower. I wish there was another drive thru in the immediate area. Oh, food has come out frozen in the middle too on more than one occasion. So make sure you check your order before you drive off. Today's order of bacon bites had no bacon on them. I never, ever know what to call my drinks at Starbucks. I always want something that isnt "typical" and its always so hard for me to figure it out. I tried to order a Strawberries and Cream here the other day, in the drive thru, and I was trying to get it as sugar free as possible. The girl was very helpful and walked me through it... and basically what I have learned is I need to order it like this: No classic syrup, Nonfat and No whip. Its definitely different than the original Strawberries and Cream, but its still pretty decent. So now I know. :) I have been in here a few times to buy gift cards and the staff is always really friendly. read more

Update 03/15/19: I had 15 min to spare before my shift started, so despite what happened yesterday, I decided to come today. There is construction happening out front. Did a mobile order and went up to the store to pick it up. Door was locked and could not get in and was ignored by staff when they saw me at the door. No sign or anything saying to go to the drive thru. Went back to my car and drove up to the drive thru window and waited about 5 min before anyone came up. Even tried to wave at one of the staff to get their attention because at this point, I was already late. One of the ladies saw me waving but ignored me again. I finally got my coffee and was late clocking in. I know I said I may return to this location, but after today, I will reconsider going elsewhere. 03/14/19: I've been going to this location for the past 4 years. I usually go to the drive thru, and I don't remember ever having an issue with the baristas. Bryce is my favorite lately, and he's been the one helping almost always when I stop by at the drive thru. (I wish I can give him 5 stars!) So when I decided to stop by today, I was hoping he would be there. Unfortunately for me, it was another barista that I didn't recognize. I proceeded to order my usual iced mocha with extra mocha. To my surprise, the barista told me in a condescending tone that the beverage already had mocha and actually asked me if I wanted to put more. As a longtime customer, I was already very much aware of this, and I regularly ask for more without any sort of pushback. I understand she was trying to help (in her own strange way). I've never had this happen when I've asked for any extra add-ins with other baristas. I left feeling slightly annoyed, again, a first for me with this location. I will continue to return to this location, simply out of convenience (walking distance from the office). Always an extremely long and slow moving line for the drive thru. Definitely my last time coming to this location after today. I ordered a venti ICED white mocha with two pumps of toffee nut and no whipped cream. They usually mess this order up anyway, whether it is failing to omit the whipped cream or adding the toffee nut pumps. On this occasion, my drink was an entirely different temperature than requested. I received a HOT white mocha and, though irritated, I let it slide since I've never had my drink come up correct here anyway and the line was long. I didn't want to hold up the line over their mistake. I noticed the cup was significantly light when I received it and when I checked, I noticed that because I didn't ask for whipped cream, I was shorted about 1/4 of my drink, practically getting a grande size. I don't know if this is how it's done, but not ordering whipped cream and getting 3/4 of a venti cup of coffee? Ridiculous. I didn't want to pay 5.75 for this. read more

My two star goes to the location and the modern clean interior. I usually don't like starbucks because the coffee is so acidy and nasty, but I can't find other coffee places than starbucks - because there are so many of them! - when I crave coffee. It is just another Starbucks, what can possibly go wrong? I ordered a tall soy green tea frappuccino, I had to wait for a long time. There seemed to be enough workers but they were super slow and unorganized. When I finally got my frappuccino, I saw whip cream on top. Whip cream is the last cream I would eat so I never ask for it but they just added it, so I simply asked them to scoop it out. Not only they screw up my order, also my frappuccino was melted like green tea juice. And it was awfully sweet!!! I brought my green tea frap home and mixed with more ice and almond milk, then blended it again. Another terrible starbucks experience. read more

I like this Starbucks. It gets very busy in the mornings and at lunch but the service is good and they have never gotten my order wrong. They have a drive thru, interior searing and an outdoor patio area with seating. Wifi of course. They lose a star because the drive thru has pedestrian crossings on both the entry and exit. Alright, today was the final straw with this location. I ordered a bacon and gouda sandwich and when i get it, theres only bread and cheese. Plus it looks nothing like the picture at the drive thru. I ask the old lady helping me and she keeps saying "well that's a bacon and gouda" I told her there is no bacon or eggs in there. "Well thats what you ordered a bacon and gouda" So finally i open the bread up and theres only cheese in there "Does this look like a bacon gouda to you?" "Well that's what you ordered do you want ....(some other pastry I can't remember the name)" Finally some guy steps in apologized, and brought my pastry out to my car.
