Usually we love Yogurtland, but this visit really let us down. I've never wanted to throw away ice cream, but I just couldn't finish it. I arrived at about 8:40 PM and we were hoping for some good ice cream. There were 3 flavors available. Three. The one I got was icy and gross and the one my Mom got was just the same. It tasted nothing like the cookies and cream flavor. The other flavors that weren't available were really watery and melted. I thought, "Maybe the toppings would be good." Sad to say I was wrong. I'm sure not all the toppings were bad, but 3/4 of my toppings were. The cherries I got were not good, and the mochi and butterfingers weren't good either. I just hope that if we decide to go again, the visit will improve. read more

Clean location with lots of options for yogurts and toppings. Price is a bit steep at $0.96 an ounce. My favorite flavor has always been Tart. I will often ask for sample cups to try other flavors but I always end up getting Tart and adding mochi and popping boba toppings. read more

This spot used to be my favorite ice‑cream place in Irvine for over a decade, but it feels like the management has started taking its prime Spectrum location for granted. I've stopped by several times recently hoping to see improvements, but the experience keeps declining.When you walk in, the flavor selection is extremely basic, and several machines are often out of service. On my last visit (late July 26), the Ube and Mango machines were dispensing liquid instead of ice cream -- completely unusable. I let the employee know the machines weren't working properly, and his response was: "Yeah, these machines sometimes work, sometimes don't. I'm not the one making the liquid ice cream."That level of indifference was honestly surprising. I hope he finds a role he's more invested in, and I hope management realizes that even prime locations can lose loyal customers. Spectrum has seen plenty of great businesses disappear because they assumed foot traffic alone was enough. Please don't take this location for granted. read more

We came after dinner and just before closing. The froyo seemed to be super melty and didn't really hold its usual shape (kinda soupy) even though it was freezing out too. Guess it didn't help. It was pretty quick getting in and out! The cashier was nice and helpful. I wish their froyo were a bit cheaper. But I guess the cost of everything is crazy these days. I appreciate their rewards points and wish I started participating in their rewards program earlier! Definitely recommend to get and set up if you're a froyo addict. Quite the experience here, the shop is a bit on the smaller end, the entrance way is where you can pick up a container, it is self service and by weight, so you really don't know how much it'll cost till you get to the counter to weigh it. There are a variety of flavors, I stuck to getting strawberry and the mixed tart flavors. It was super crowded yesterday cause of the BOGO deal and it being National Yogurt Day, however some customers were rude and not respectful of the line, trying to cut ahead. Additionally, some of the flavors seem to be leaky, and since it's self service, it can be a bit messy as well with spills in the drain traps. There is plenty of toppings to choose from, again, it may all seem overwhelming if you've never gotten frozen yogurt before, or know what to try. Technically they do have small sample cups but because with the store being busy, it didn't really seem like something that was offered at the time. Lastly, although the BOGO deal was nice, since it takes the weight of the heavier item, it would've been nicer if it was 50% off instead. The mochi toppings I got wasn't too bad, and the sour gummy worms were okay too, but I'd say the strawberry wasn't too great and this other gummy candy I got was also impossible to chew, I ended up not eating that candy at all. For a first experience at this Yogurtland location at Spectrum, I'd say it was a bit disappointing to say the least. Although there are some seats outdoors, there's no seats inside. Not a great visit last night. I eat gluten free for medical reasons. 99% sure I got glutened last night, even though I chose only items marked GF. Let's just say I had an explosive morning. Banana Cream!!!!! Omg, i'm such a big fan!!!! I actually hate bananas but I love it when it's in cream form like in a pie. So when I tried the frozen yogurt here, omg it was so delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness and banana flavor. I can't believe how much I loved it. I wish all locations had this flavor, i told my sister about it and said it wasn't at the location she went to. Today might have just been an unlucky day to come. When I came in I got my order as usual. I like to get a little bit of just about everything since I like to try out multiple flavors. There was nothing with the ambience and service, but it was the prices and the lack of stuff. When I usually come I always look forward for a waffle chunk to put in my yogurt but when I can it wasn't there. So that lowered the rating for me. And I'm sure my order was pretty light yet it costed $8 which is pricy as I didn't get much but maybe they just raised costs with inflation. Came here on a Monday night and it was decently busy but I loved the selection here of both flavors and toppings. My favorite flavors were the Toasted Coconut and the Birthday Cake Batter. This store does let you sample if you ask for the sample cups! It is a tiny store so there is no seating inside but plenty of seating all around Spectrum. read more

I came in to get a bowel and as I was getting my yogurt and toppings, towards the end is when they said they didn't have any hot fudge, caramel, or marshmallow. When you walk in, if you don't come in from the right side and you come in from the left side, you're pretty much going to miss the sample cups. I had to walk to the front of the line to get my sample cup then make my way back to try the flavors. When it's crowded, it gets hectic here and it's hard to try the different flavors. They have limited toppings and customer service is ok. I know at other yogurtworlds I have been to, they did the stamp card rewards, but I wasn't offered or asked for my stamp card/rewards, so I'm not sure if they still do that. I visited yesterday 8/1/2020 in the evening and was served by a young Asian woman, who never greeted me but seemed to be completely annoyed that I couldn't understand her muffled voice under her mask. I even apologized for my confusion as I wasn't even aware I was being spoken too. From asking to be served more of something to becoming completely afraid to even ask for anything, my whole experience in your store prompted this review. It's Yogurtland and there is nothing more special about this one than any of the rest! I love their plain tart at yogurtland the most. Call me simple, but the basic tart flavor is my go-to every time and i prefer it over all the seasonal ones. I also usually go for the vanilla and chocolate swirl. Sadly, they did not have the vanilla when i stopped by here recently. During COVID-19 times, they have stickers on the floor for social distancing but I must say that most people do not pay attention to them and still stand close together. They have also added plexiglass covers to further cover the toppings and protect both the customers and employees. They have touchless payments available for their credit card machine. I love Yogurtland, but this just isn't the right location. It's a long, narrow location so if there is are even just a small handful of other customers, it is very difficult to get around. It's a Yogurtland people, not Heaven. There's only a single row of machines here unlike the full two at bigger stores, but they're well maintained and the reps here are as nice as anyone else.
