I had a little time before an evening event began and didn't want to drive all the way home just to turn around and head back again, so I stopped in for an hour or so at Starbucks. Typical Sbux.. fast counter service and friendly baristas. The one thing that stuck out at me was the limited seating space inside. Lots of empty tables outside (like.. all of them because it's WINTER) but people were standing around waiting on tables inside. This store is the worst for not being open even when the app says that it is open. They seem to just close early when the wind takes them. They're not reliable. You can't trust the app. It is a major inconvenience when the app says that they're open you drive all the way over there and they're just closing early. I am a lover of everything STARBUCKS! However, the biggest downfall of this location is the fact that EVERYONE GOES THERE! I used to attempt stopping at this Starbucks in the morning on the way to work and it was a terrible idea. I would challenge myself to get up earlier so I didn't have to wait in such a long line.... still a fail! The worst part is the setup of the parking lot. Instead of having one clear cut line, people approach the line from different directions so it seems like you may be getting the short end of the stick (depending on which side you line up on). I have also tried to hop out of my car and go inside.... Ironically, it took me longer inside than it would have taken me in the line. Nothing against the service but because this is at such a busy intersection, it is never a quick stop! read more

Typically drive thru and although the line may appear long at peak hours, the line actually goes pretty fast. The employees at this Starbucks have messed up my order multiple times, but they always attempt to adjust the drinks to make them right. read more

I dig this Starbucks. They have huge tables and some are communal tables that you share with others so if you are anti social, don't sit. Baristas are quick and super friendly. I think I saw on the door that they are open until midnight each wk--unheard of! read more

Seriously these Starbucks employees must be on speed, or they just have the best organization system ever. This location can be a pain to actually drive to seeing as how they have been doing construction on Meridian for about 3 years now, but once you are there the drive thru line moves like a breeze, especially in the early morning work rush. There has been a time or two in the afternoons where the line can back up, but on those times Starbucks recognized the delay and covered the cost of my drink! This is also a prime location to catch the "Pay it Forward" train where the car in front of you paid for your drink so you pay for the car behind you. The patio also has a good mix of tables and cushioned chairs so you will be sure to find whatever type of seat your behind is beckoning. read more

I'm repeatedly disappointed in this Starbucks location. The management of this location is awful, I could probably manage it better myself. Whoever manages this location needs to learn more about supply and demand. I visit this location almost everyday and they are ALWAYS out of plain bagels. It's very annoying and very unprofessional. Please fix this problem by ordering more plain bagels since you KNOW they are in high demand instead of losing loyal costumers. I'm fed up with this unprofessionalism. read more

Speedy and efficient. Sounds good right. Perhaps for some but not me. Not many in the store. Only me in line. Short line at drive thru. When I bid the person good morning and asked how she was her reply was what can I get for you. So much for pleasantries. I was trying to decide what to eat but she looked very impatient so I ordered my drink to calm her down. That didn't work. Immediately she asks what else I would like. So I picked something quickly. I get it this is fast food. But it's not cheap fast food. And it's nice to feel appreciated when I'm dropping coin somewhere. I suppose it's being in the north instead of home in the south. I went to this Starbucks and started to go to the drive-thru, but it was inaccessible because a trash can was in the way. So I went into the store and noticed several customers not wearing masks/not practicing social distancing which made me feel uncomfortable so I left. I later called the manager to ask whether masks were required at the location. He said yes and I let him know there were customers not wearing masks. He then told me he couldn't tell people to wear masks and asked why I didn't use the drive-thru. I said it was inaccessible then he told me it was open now (even though I had just left and it was still blocked off) and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. read more

So we take the dogs for a walk, as allowed, and visit this location in North Meridian as we often do. Walking across the parking lot I call out to the worker emptying the trash and ask if they are open. She replies they are but not the cafe. As we are at the sign for the drive thru we inquire whether to walk to the window or order at the sign. The same worker says they won't accept walk up orders. I realize this is a new situation for all but how about a little adaptive effort. I can't order in the lobby and I can't order at the window. Poor customer service, Starbucks at 96th & Meridian. Adapt as we all have to and show some support to those getting a little exercise by walking. Would a bicycle rider also be denied service? If this is a store manager's decision I hope a regional manager would provide a solution. If this a corporate policy then shame on you for not "thinking through" how to continue to serve all customers. read more

This location is probably the least attractive Starbucks in Indy area. It is small and crowded, unclean restroom, and the interior needs updates or complete renovation. Mostly friendly service but the taste of the drinks is not always consistent. Three stars. Due to its location in the busy intersection and commercial area, morning coffee pick up can be tough. Parking is abundant but drive thru line is the big issue. The sign is obvious, but most morning customers mindlessly follow the cars in front of them and form the wrong long line that blocks access to parking spots and driveways. Find another location for your Starbucks fix for a better experience. read more

What can I say? It's Starbucks. They do have some of the more friendly Starbucks employees I've encountered at this location. I think because of its proximity to 465 and Carmel, there is ALWAYS a line at the drive-thru. You will get much faster service and be much less irritated just parking and going inside for your coffee. Trust me, you don't want to be stuck behind the Carmel soccer mom ordering her Venti 1 pump caramel, 1 pump white mocha, 2 scoops vanilla bean powder, extra ice frappuchino with 2 shots poured over the top (apagotto style) with caramel drizzle under and on top of the whipped cream, double cupped. read more

This Starbucks, like most, is uber busy between the hours of 7AM and 8AM. But the staff is cheery, the facility is clean and the chairs are comfy. Safe yourself sometime and go in, rather than waiting for the drive up; the line insides seems to be speedier than the line outside. read more

I have a love/ hate relationship with this Starbucks. However, I keep coming back because it is really the only coffee place by my job on the way. They are efficient and fifty percent of the time I can appreciate that. However, if they mess up my order and push me through the drive-thru before I can notice, I have issues. It's not like anyone on the way to work would have time to wait in line and have time to get the drink fixed. I have been over charged for larger drink sizes than I had received (I'm not a regular Starbucks person so I don't have my order price memorized). By the time I pull myself out of my half-awake stupor to try my drink and look at the receipt I am long past the drive thru and in the dreaded abyss of work. However, they usually do not run out of things and they don't try to obsessively upsell you on mediocre pastries. So there's that I guess. read more

This is the fastest drive thru in America! It blows my mind. There can be a line of cars wrapped around the building at 8am and I have never waited longer than 5 min in the line. It's magical and everyone is always friendly. They were out of so many things. We had to change our order and then we had to change it once more when we drove up to the next window because they discovered they were out of that as well.....but at least the woman was nice about the situation and apologized. This is the 2nd of 4 stores that I am regular customer of since the day they opened their doors. When Ryan transferred from Willow Lake to here I came to this spot too. That is because I know what excellent customer service is and with Ryan there was no second guessing that the rest of the partners at this location would also be hands down awesome; and they are. Over the years some have come & gone but the majority have stayed at this location for years. They all work hard at this store. It is a high volume location with businesses & the interstate being right there. I have been here numerous times watching them as they handle a packed drive through and inside with superior team work. Even if having a rough day they still do the best they can. The ONLY thing that has disappointed me, and other regulars, was when this location was up for a "remodeling" & instead someone at the district office decided to give these amazing partners a shooty "redecoration" of old chairs & cheap table chairs; not to mention the pathetic wiring job for additional outlets. They deserved way better than they got, in my opinion. But, they, regardless, still maintain consistent positive attitudes and take pride in what they get to have, the customers who they serve, and the opportunities that the company itself provides for them - and that makes them and the store amazing. read more

I am so sad right now writing this review. As an old Starbucks employee and now a very true patron it feel like this particular Starbucks has started slacking. I am hoping it is just a phase they are going through. Anyways I work nights and I am usually at Starbucks by 10 and they close 11 to get my two ginormous wonderful Trenta iced coffees only for the past week or two they have come out looking like lattes (toooo much milk and not enough coffee!!!) and another night they were out of iced coffee and subbed it out for iced Americano (which is good but so much caffeine it made me sick bc I sucked it down like I do iced coffee). So two days ago when I was here I asked if they had enough iced coffee because I know it was close to closing time and by close I mean an hour till... I was going to get tea instead to avoid paying for milk instead of coffee (I don't like milk). Needless to say one of the baristas was nice and one was very rude and tried to make me feel like I don't know what I am talking about but I get the same drink multiple times a day. Phew that is a lot, but I hope their night service gets back to what it use to be!! Pleasant! read more

Very disappointed with the service this morning around 7:30. They have at least 5 people working drive thru and 2 people serving everyone in side. The young lady making my coffee was extremely slow and did not seem like she wanted to be there. My coffee was bitter. I am not happy whatsoever. read more
