On my way to work I stop at this location like 4 times a week. I always do a mobile order because I don't live too far from this location and I want to be able to run in the store or go through the drive thru (if there is no line) to quickly get my order and continue my drive to work. Mobile order pick up is so efficient and they typically always have my order ready in the timeframe it says. The staff at this location are very friendly. The inside of the store is very clean and organized. I have my go to drinks and food that I always get and the prices are your typical prices. I love how you can earn points and be able to utilize your stars to get free items. read more

A 5-star review for a known entity like Starbucks? The "new" Starbucks location at 8880 E 96th Street opened in October 2023. The beverages and food items are the same you would expect at Starbucks anywhere. It is the new more customer-centric design of this location that makes a difference. At the former location (a strip mall parking lot away) there was no drive-thru. What a pain in the parking spot! The former location was small. For those of us who enjoy drinking their beverage al fresco, the former location didn't offer outdoor seating. Break out the rainbow, sunshine and unicorns. Cue your favorite song! All the minuses of the previous location are resolved in the modern design of the new building. The new location will also provide competition to the Panera Bread West of SBX and Dunkin Donuts to the East of the new location. This customer-centric design and will hopefully spread to other newly built Starbucks locations. read more

A rather small Starbucks, with mostly drive thru and pick up business. Inside the acoustics are inadequate making for a tinny, noisy environment. The upsides: four comfortable chairs, efficient service as it's not too busy and the usual, expected high quality foods & beverages. read more

Sometimes you need coffee at a place that everyone knows you. (Queue the Cheers theme song) This is my place. Love or hate Starbucks all you want. I love them. This location (96th and Masters) is the one for me. The manager, Gary, has a talent for finding baristas that get it. They understand community and building something out of rusher visits. This has been my Starbucks for the last 5 years and I love them. Kate, Jay, Bailey, Kristin, Laura... they kill in the mornings. My drinks are always tasty, they listen, and over time get to know you. There's always a smile and friendly conversation no matter how busy they are. There's even notes and art some days. read more

I appreciate that they're open early even on Saturday plus they have nitro cold brew, which my usual store near work doesn't have. This location is modern and clean. It's easy to get to off 96th. The way in/out of the store is a bit annoying if it's busy cause there's a stop sign right outside the entrance/exit. Service is good and drinks are pretty consistently good. read more

I walked in and was greeted by several employees immediately. I was looking around and perusing all of the display shelves and tables just taking it all in and also taking my sweet time. I have only been to this Starbucks location a few times and as I recall each experience has been bad. Today was the same. I went through the drive through and placed my order of an Americano & Brownie. When I got to the window the barista held out the scanner to read my card as she was talking on her headset to the next client in the car behind me. She did not greet me - she was busy helping the client After me. Once she took a break from the drive through clients After me - I told her I wanted to get my brownie for 50 points. She said ok with a displeased look & said she'd have to void the transaction and ring for the 50 points. That took a few minutes & a manager had to come over to assist with the void (the manager did not greet me either) during the wait time she did not greet me, did not make small talk & was not pleasant in any way. She had handed me the brownie when I pulled up but as yet not given me my coffee. I asked for the receipt when she said she had to void the transaction - and when she got the receipt and handed it to me (she was on her headset talking to a client) she seemed finished with me. I said "I still need to get my Americano" - she said very rudely "give me a moment", in fact she'd had SEVERAL moments. A minute or so later she handed me my coffee without a thank you. I do not plan to return to this location. read more

I really, really hate how this Starbucks' parking lot is designed. For a location in a sprawling strip 80% dedicated to parking (of which maybe 20% is used on your typical day when looking at the entire parking), Starbucks has only one way in and the drive-thru makes it very difficult to park here. Why am I leaving a review of a chain we're all pretty much forced to use for coffee? Well, I guess because there is some public art that kind of sort of resembles the "old" Starbucks logo. Oh, also, there's a Pokemon Go gym and a Sponsored Pokemon stop. So there's that, I guess... Oh, and I'm pretty certain the Sheriff's deputy at the next table over was on a blind date. The new CITRUS GREEN TEA LATTE smells like a lemon drop and tastes like some lemon gummy is lost somewhere in the bottom of your cup. It's not bad, if you like that sort of thing. This is my favorite location for a few reasons. It's right next to work, the staff is always friendly and engaging you in conversation (even in drive thru), the product is always on point. I've never had it messed up or given the wrong order. Even though it is a very busy location they always take the time to make a person feel welcomed and appreciated. I made great use of this Starbucks in between doctor's appointments. It was nice and cozy on a cold, blustery day. It was refreshing to see friendly, cheerful staff of all ages, probably even number of men and women working. They seemed to get along really well. As I walked into my favorite, classic cafe, i expected nothing less than to be greeted with smiles and friendliness, however, this was not the case. I walked in to the register and wanted to order two large waters along with a protein box and mango dragon fruit refresher. Before I even had time to carry on with my order, the cashier at the time interrupts me and simply says we're going to make that grande size for today. Not only did she not ask if it was ok if the size was smaller but she said it on a very snarky tone. I was drawn back by the rudeness that she conveyed toward her customers. Stopping at this location is apart of my daily routine. I continue to come to this location because of the staff. This is an awesome team! My only problem with this location is the parking lot. There are MASSIVE pot holes at the entrance of the parking lot and throughout. We live in Indiana, we all know we have bipolar weather- but the parking lot is never clear. I see elderly people in there every morning (the same 3 couples). One of them could fall on the ice and get really hurt. I slid today as I was walking back to my car. It takes less than 5 minutes to sprinkle salt down. Pay me, I'll come do it! read more

I love Starbucks more than anything, but this location is close to the worse one. The wait is just way too long. I've been here fifteen minutes so far and ordered a latte and still no drink. There's four girls working and one making drinks while the other are in the back, they should all be up front catching up. A Starbucks drink should not take this long. Then one a separate occasion we were here and purchased a mug and gift card. They had no boxes, no bags, and no sleeves for the gift cards and told us we could carry them all out. I get running out of boxes at Christmas time but no bags... no sleeves for gift cards... on a third occasion I ordered an iced drink, she repeated it back, then made me a hot drink. I politely mentioned it was supposed to be iced and instead of the normal Starbucks "No problem let me remake that for you" I got a loud sigh and her walking off. Unacceptable for a $6 coffee. This location is in need of management. read more
