My husband and I frequent this location twice a week. We get the best service every time . Most of the baristas know what we want when we arrive. They make it worth walking in to the store instead of just going through a drive through at another location. Patrick and Weldon are funny & interesting to talk to. Ken and Bethany are super nice. Yes, it's a Starbucks. If you're anything like me, that brings up all kinds of predetermined opinions, most of which have nothing to do with coffee. It's one thing to dislike a chain (and I do dislike this particular chain), but it's another to let that sway your opinion on what has to be the Starbucks that clings most to being a neighborhood hot spot in the area. This Starbucks has always treated me decently. The baristas have never looked at me like I'm purple and from Mars because I don't have 23 facial piercings, the coffee has never been burnt (surprise surprise!), I've always had a place to sit, and I've never really felt out of place, which is one of the things that makes me hate most Starbucks. I always feel like every employee just wants me to either order and get out or shrivel up and die. I went here not too long ago just to get a coffee (and I do just mean a coffee, not a caffeinated milk shake) and sit down for a while. I wasted some time on facebook, did some people watching, read a little bit, and just kind of hung out. There were regulars discussing the music that the owner was playing. A barista actually checked on me and asked how I was doing. I went outside, and the smokers weren't being forced out into the parking lot, they were allowed to sit outside in the 106 degree heat and smoke at a table with an ashtray available if they so chose. I like that. I like that this Starbucks doesn't seem so caught up in making a corporate buck that the people giving them that buck are forgotten. Overall, it's still a Starbucks, but if someone gave you a gift card or you have some urge for an overpriced cup of joe, this would be the Starbucks that I recommend. I came today Sunday 09/10/17 for my birthday treat and I got a Frape. It's taste very bad like I'm drinking a cup of caramel, no coffee at all. I drink coffee since I'm very little and everyday and I know how it's taste. I talked to the cashier and she talked to the fat lady who made the drink for me and they don't wanted to check or to apologize or whatsoever. They think that I made it up or may be they think "it's free, so what?" They said the color brown is the coffee???? The caramel is brown as well, how stupid is that answer. Not professionally trained and service like this store is so sad. I don't know how they holding their paycheck and didn't care for their customers and their boss. It's will hurst the business. So I never go here again. Go to other place to taste a real coffee. read more

SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever been in. More concerned about the shelf life of the fresh fruit than making drinks.

This location always takes forever to make drinks. My husband waiting 30 min ! For two Frappuccino! The workers there are so unprofessional, no communication amongst them. Don't come here if you wanted a real starbuck coffee. This place is not making quality drink like it should. I order a Frape and it's taste very bad, no coffee in it and I don't know how they said it's coffee. They don't even care to check when I'm complaining about my drink taste like a cup of sugar caramel. They said "Brown color is the coffee." Not professional and very bad service, especially the fat lady who made the "so called coffee" for me was rude and bad attitude. I never coming here again, there are many other place to try out. At least I can have a real coffee. I have drink many Frape before and I know how it's should taste. But this place was did not know how to made a Frape. Barista Chris refused to make my drink in my personal cup with another store's logo on it. When I'm paying $5 for coffee, and the employees care more about the branding of the cup than doing what's right for the environment (especially when other Starbucks do it with no problem), there's something wrong. So I had gotten my kids watched to deal with some cellphone issues at AT&T, and run a couple other errands in the area. I got done sooner the I thought so I figured I'd take advantage of some piece & come here to finish setting up some things on my phone. I had some credit on my Starbucks app left over from a groupon so why not right. I downloaded the app back to my fixed phone, and ordered after using the restroom. Went & sat down in view of the bar & waited about 5-10 mins. At a certain point they had handed off 2-3 drinks & we're just cleaning, talking & figuring out breaks. After a few mins of this I go ask if they got my app order cause I didn't see it get sat down or called out. The girl I asked said let me check & her co-worker came out saying oh I made that ages ago, with that last set of customers, it's on the bar. It had been tucked back in a corner from them handing off the orders to the walk ups. If it had been a cold drink it wouldn't have bothered me but with it being a hot drink, one of their newer promos with chocolate that needed to be drank somewhat quickly or else all the chocolate solidifies on the bottom it kind of ruined the drink for me. I had tried it once before & enjoyed it; today I needed to dig the chocolate off the bottom. With there being at least 1 Starbucks in the B&N across the street, if not going down to the one near the highway, I doubt I will go to this one again unless it's a meeting up point for one reason or another for a client. read more

Comfortable seating, not crowded at lunch. No line. Fast service. One of the easier Starbucks I've been to.

This Starbucks is terrible! Our receptionist went to get 4 drinks there- the barista was very rude to her- telling her she had to wait because she was not the only 1 there- it took much longer than usual for them to complete an order of 4 coffees (lattes)- If the customer service cannot handle a crowd during winter AND when Starbucks is heavily promoting their Christmas cup, perhaps they should work where they don't have to talk to people! NO NEED to be rude to the girl waiting on an order of 4 coffees- this shouldn't be considered a huge order by any means! They are generally slow anyways but to be an ASS about it to boot- NO THANKS- We also ordered the holiday drinks to get a free cup and did not receive- I bring coffee to my clients but WILL NOT use this location anymore for that!! Not overly crowded and plenty of parking. Near great plaza shopping opportunities. Just south of NE Mall by about 2 blocks - so all is easy access. Actually the store owners couldn't have found a much better location considering the neighborhood safety, traffic (number of potential customers), and variety of shops around the shopping strip. read more

I do not recommend this place at all, we are in winter, and when we entered they were with the air conditioning .... really ???? I told one of the employees that the place was super cold that if they could please turn it off or please put on the heater, he did not do anything about it, we ended up going with my family, we will not come back anymore .... read more

So freaking slow! Only 2 people in front of us. Waited 20 minutes and still hadn't gotten to our order.

I live all the way in fort worth, about a 20 mile drive, from this starbucks but i am in hurst a lot through out the week. i needed to get online to use the internet and check my bank account and figure out why my card wasn't working, and being 20 miles away from home with less than a 4th a tank of gas, this was my only hope to figure out what was going on with my card. even though my card was declined and i had no way to pay, the gentleman kindly gave me a drink free of charge for my troubles. now that is customer service! :) read more

Sooooo disappointed! The line was long, the place was packed. Only one person taking orders. I put my order in, gave my name and 10 minutes later I see someone who's order was taken after mine, walking out with 2 cups and my name on her cups. She lets me know her name is Denise as well. I continue to wait and a cup is put on counter (with my name) barista said nothing. Another cup but not coffee and not mine. This location is AWESOME. I love the Starbucks app and I always take advantage of the mobile ordering. Every time I come in, my drink is ready and waiting for me and I'm greeted by name from all of the employees even if I'm not picking up a mobile order with my name on the ticket. As the line fills up behind me, each of the people in line are also greeted by name and they seem to know all of the employees by name as well. These people always have a smile on their face and seem to really love their job and I love starting my morning off by coming in here. Even when the line is wrapped around, nobody is ever waiting more than a few minutes for their drink.
