I stopped in here a couple of weeks ago while exploring Waikiki. I was hot and somewhat lost trying to find stuff. The staff here was beyond helpful with directions, the iced tea hit the spot, and the location was great for people watching and relaxing for a bit. I definitely recommend this establishment.

I got my sous vide bacon and cheese,,,yummy. But, sous vide is pretty rich and tasty. Then, I backed it up with shaken green tea. I'm taking a breather from running around. It's clearing my mind from so many little missions and can't fulfill it all in one day. Of course, the ladies were hard working and friend behind their masks as well as friendly! Just a short note...I'm off running! I got my second wind! Ciao!!!

Originally while waiting in line I wanted to give a straight up one star. The line is always long and the few times that I do pick up a drink, there is only one cashier working and two other baristas preparing drinks. Really understaffed on the weekends.. Now I know you can do mobile order but I'm not too familiar with which location this one would have been associated with as there are a few other locations nearby. Nevertheless, I ordered my drinks and they were prepared shortly after. Trenta size pink drink for me and a grande Caramel macchiato. They were crazy busy but made the time to write me a short & sweet birthday card. I have never ever received one from any other locations since 2014 when I joined the rewards program. Kudo's to the trio working that Sunday!

This Starbucks is always busy with a line. The line moves pretty fast thou. It is located at Ala Moana Center on the second level between LV and Tiffany & Co. The staff are friendly, and make sure you like your drink. They explain the different drinks to you and what's inside. They call your order out by your name, I like that because sometimes people order the same drink. I ordered the açaí strawberry refresher, my go to is the unsweetened passion fruit lemonade. I really enjoyed the refresher. It wasn't sweet at all. It is like the pink drink, the only difference between my drink and the pink drink is that the pink drink is made with coconut milk.

Nice place to take a coffee break, if there are empty tables available. Most of the times, their few tables are taken, unfortunately. According to Yelp, there are at least four Starbucks listed within the Ala Moana Shopping Center. They all appeared to be similar in flavor, at least to my taste.

This location is at Ala Moana on the second level, right outside of Tiffany's. There is always a line here, every time I pass by. The line moves rather fast. The baristas working this location are friendly and know their drinks. I wanted to get their Cherry Blossom frappe, but it ended the day before. They couldn't make it for me because it needed a special syrup is what they told me. They were running a different special, Honey Caramel frappe. I decided to try it. It was so overly sweet. The honey pieces did not go well with the caramel. I don't think I'd get this drink again. The Cherry Blossom frappe on the other hand was delicious.

Came in while shopping at Ala Moana shopping center. The barista behind the register was friendly, and this smaller store in the center of a mall seemed to be a bit busy. She made sure to reread my order to me to ensure accuracy which I appreciated. I had ordered a Venti Iced Soy Chai Latte and a Venti Guava White Tea Lemonade, both with light ice. As I waited for my drinks to be made, I noticed my Chai about to be finished, but the soy milk wasn't filled to high, leaving space for heavy ice. I was going to say something, but I didn't want to be "that customer." However, before I even said something, I notice the barista finishing off the drinks reading my label. On her own, she added extra soy to make it lighter on the ice, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I recommend this location. It's optimal, being that it is in the center of many stores. The service and beverage quality were great.

We asked for a puppacino. We got an artful cup to go with it.

This is the center Court one. If they haven't already, they really should make Stefen a manager or something. He's quick and detailed. When he's more visible, he gets orders to get the line moving faster. It gives me an estimate of 4-9 minutes. If I get there in 3 and he's playing a primary role, it's ready. I've been going to this one for a while. Coffee shops are stressful, especially with customers who are often very particular. So it takes a certain type to brush stuff off and keep going in the first place. They've found a great team overall I assume. But they got really lucky having Stefen on staff

It was an open place. Got pretty busy! It was simple and easy. Very nice workers. Ordered the extra hot skinny vanilla latte and it was extra hot. Recommended.

My favorite Starbucks! Because they are so fast, usual on wait 2-5 minutes for my Skinny Vanilla iced Latte. And it always taste the same. Sometimes at other Starbucks it can taste different depending on the maker. It's never really to busy. And the staff is so friendly and always nice. It might look like a lot of people waiting but the breeze past them in seconds. I barely have time to write my reviews. 1

The kitchen staff was handling a dog and did not change her gloves prior to working with food. Isn't that a health code violation?

This might be one of the only places in Waikiki open at 4 AM which is perfect if you've just arrived the night before from the East Coast. The inside of the shop feels homey. They have a display case full of pastries along with additional baked goods set out nearby. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a coconut latte and then ordered a blueberry malasada while my father went with a custard-filled one. At Maleko, the malasadas are pre-made but not filled until you order which I think is a smart move. I first tried my blueberry malasada and thought it was good. The dough was light and fluffy and the filling had a great flavor. As for my coffee, I have to agree with other reviews that the syrup made it overly sweet. I still drank it, but I definitely would have preferred something less sweet. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again for the malasadas. As for the coffee, I would probably pass unless you prefer your drinks on the sweeter side.

This is the only standing Kulu Kulu and I hope this place does not close, or if it does relocate, come closer to Central Oahu where the rent is cheaper, haha (hint). This location is on the outer edges of Waikiki on Hobron Lane in Eaton Square. I rarely venture to Waikiki, and if I do make the dreaded drive to "town", this place and Kan Sushi will be the only regular places where I will make my stop(s), because its so worth it. I've had a long-standing love-affair with Kulu Kulu from the Shirokiya Food Court location with it's waffle bears and Hello Kitty waffles, the takeout Nama Chocolate cups stocked at Mitsuwa Marketplace and now here, in town. The Ube Coconut Mousse $6.95 blew our minds, it was THE best tasting thing, ever. Both the ube and the coconut were not cloying, and as with all of their treats, not overly sweet either. That's why I love Japanese pastries, they get the sweetness just perfect and I have no idea how they mastermind that ratio! Strawberry Panna Cotta $5.95 was creamy, flavorful, delicious and surprisingly light and refreshing for such a creamy dessert. I normally don't get this kind of combination of flavors, and it tasted like something you'd get in a Michellin-rated establishment. Looking back at the photos, I see vanilla bean seeds in the panna cotta, so every loving detail and nuance shows through with each mouthful. Nama Chocolate $5.75 is my go-to chocolate LOVE. It's cut into cool creamy semi-sweet squares dusted with cocoa and it melts in your mouth! This is my favorite of all things that Kulu Kulu makes. I actually enjoy this better than the famous Royce Chocolates from Japan. We ordered another seasonal Strawberry dessert slice cake but it was eaten before I could review (and/or taste it); I've heard it was very very delicious. This place is so good that I plan to bring my friends who will be visiting from Virginia here to try their pastries. I also plan to support this business for as long as I can and make more frequent trips to town just to get these amazing desserts.
