First visit since they renovated the Hawaii Kai Towne Center store. Nice modern casual look. I sat at the picture window counter where I could see the outdoor seating. Drinks are corporate coffee...consistent, decent beverages. I like a milkshake and frappuccinos are pretty good. They haven't been charging extra for alternative milks for a while now and their proprietary app is user friendly. Rewards are a nice marketing ploy...but it works. Service is good...as per usual at Starbucks locales...and the ambiance is improved.

After doing a sunrise hike at Makapu'u stopped for celebratory coffee on the way home at this Starbucks location. Ordered two coffees and fruit and cheese box. The server was friendly and our coffees came out quickly. We chose to sit outside at the small metal tables. It was a little noisy outside because of the car wash close by. Inside is the usual Starbucks interior, smaller than some.

Starbucks at Koko Marina Lots of parking available at Koko Marina but it can get busy in that area! We try to order ahead if possible and just jump out to pick up the order. One of my favs this year has been the iced horchata shaken eapresso and the fall drink and the pecan oatmilk drinks.

Venti Frappuccino

Thought I was cutting calories by skipping the whip cream, found I'm actually cutting calories because my Venti Frappuccino is closer to being a Grande.

Five stars. Starbucks is always great for the drinks and food. Although it's previously frozen foods, it still hits when you're hungry. Never had a bad experience with the foods. Service is always quick and efficient. Baristas are friendly and fast. The ambiance is always clean and welcoming. Can't beat it.

I was here two weekends ago while they were having their free hot chocolate promotion. If you buy any grande drink they'll give you free short hot chocolate from 12pm-6pm on the weekends in December. I was into their Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and was ordering it all the time the past two months. They told me that they were out of Chai and that I could get the Gingerbread Latte. I guess it would do, but it was nowhere as good as the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. The free hot chocolate was so watered down. It tasted like I was drinking chalky brown water. They were also out of cup holders. The associates were friendly and did apologize that they were out of items.

I love it!

My hubby and I decided to split their Matcha Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage with Whip. It taste how it should, bit strong, but good hubby loved it! The staff were prompt and courteous and I loved their framed paintings! I would recommend this location and we'll be returning to explore more!

Vanilla bean danish

Reliable quality of food, but staff is often rude or at least too nonchalant here. Prices are what I'd expect, rather reasonable. Most recently tried the vanilla bean danish and the dough tasted like doughnut dough-- super yummy without the deep-fried complications! The cafe mocha is good as usual.

My first time here. The place is empty, but very clean. You're greeted as you enter the door. There are partitions like all other Starbucks. The floor is set up for social distancing. There's this sign, do not grab straws, stirring sticks behind partition. barista will give it to you. There are no signs at other Starbucks, but very wise in terms of sanitation. Everyone wears a mask as well as customers. Manager is young and sharp. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating which makes me feel comfortable in their establishment. I would definitely stop by as I take a drive around the island. But right now it's to the west side, Salt Lake!

Been me and my girlies go to for the past few years for our bi-monthly debrief, and we are not alone. Take a look around and there's always a few tables that look like the 2020 Hawai'i version of a Sex in the City girl gang talk fest. The location is genius. Who would have thought that putting a coffee shop in a hidden outdated strip mall in a tiny neighborhood valley would pop off? Yet it does. It feels current, it feels now. Surf Camp shares its name with its sister the popular Surf Camp attire and retail store which is the older sister as well to Up and Riding for kids- a surf themed clothing, accessories and shoes store in Kahala Mall. All of these spots exhibit a taste level, an eye for trends, and quality products. There's also a subtle but felt honoring of what makes local, local, underneath everything. I think that's what adds to the success. They know how to create a look, a vybe. Now when it comes to coffee I'd just like to do the shrugged emoji girl. Some of it I just can"t get into. I think I'm too old to get on the matcha bandwagon. I really just want drip coffee or espresso shots. I don't need fancy. I don't like milk. But my friends do, and I love my friends. The pastries are really good. The kids behind the counter are cute and hard working. I enjoy being here every time I come. If you want an experience with your beverage, a chill spot to sit and chat with your homies, or are headed out to Sandy's, Makapuu, Koko Head, or any of the other fun, beautiful spots this side has to offer, check out Surf Camp. I bet you'll be back.

Well, a second bite of the cherry ( an English/British idiom ) and I have to say I enjoyed it this time. Blueberry syrup wasn't too sweet. I may not have mixed it well, previously. If I recall correctly, I've had their Iced Black Sesame and Iced Hojicha - not Kinako ( must be thinking of another café ) - Lattes. All quite good. Minimalistic, modern interior design ...makes for a nice cafe experience...but i got my beverage for takeaway. I like the green-tiled countertop. Open from 630a till 330p, weekdays. Weekends they are open from 800a to 200p. Parking shared with other establishments in the building on Halemaumau Street - try saying that 3x, fast. I parked in the Niu Valley Shopping Center where there are lots of stalls.

Having more businesses and a solid coffee shop with Kai Coffee expanding to Kalama Valley is a big welcome. This place is located along Kealahou St. Easy to find. Just turn in from the stoplight between Sandy Beach and Hawaii Kai Golf Course and drive a minute in. Plenty of parking! Cozy, clean, and comfortable place with indoor and outdoor seating. Usual coffee choices with breakfast wraps and sandwiches. Friendly and efficient service. Its signature Kai Latte was good with a nice balance of macadamia nut flavor to coffee. House coffee was brewed well. My only issue is the cup sizes. Large is definitely smaller than the usual and not even filled to the top! The Turkey Pesto sandwich was really good. Nicely portioned and prepared well. Warm, crispy flatbread. Tasty pesto. This sandwich inspired me to buy pesto and make it at home lol. Overall, a solid, little coffee spot in a quiet, calm neighborhood that is Kalama Valley. Conveniently located just a minute from the main highway. Nice, friendly service with well-prepared food and drinks.

I got the blue Hawaii lemonade & to be honest it tasted more like a piña colada, so I didn't really like mines. My daughter got the cookies & cream shake or smoothie & she loved it. I thought that I could enter the drawing for $500, but this location isn't linked to that promotion... darn! Located in a shared space with Loco Moco at Koko Marina Center, the lone woman at the counter was just okay. It was a bit noisy from the customers on the other side of the room, so she had to speak a bit louder. I figured that since I'm there - and we walked all the way across the parking lot - and around the corner to find this place, I should get something... because it was quite a warm October day... My order was a POG (passion orange guava) iced tea. The woman didn't ask me for my level of sweetness or amount of ice. She just made the standard. It was alright. I let the ice melt because it was a bit sweet. I saw the passion fruit seeds on the bottom of my cup which told me that it's pretty authentic. I'll stick with the other locations of Teapresso Bar where the service is friendlier; the location is more convenient; and the environment is calmer.

Bummer. I do like the view they have though being in Hawaii Kai with the mountain valleys as a backdrop. They also have a lil' nook where you can post your feet up and chill while you wait for your food. This place seems pretty popular. Had a bit of traffic on a Friday afternoon. On their menu they also show they do free shot Friday - free health shots, every Friday (1 shot per person with purchase) and as it was a Friday I asked for one but the cashier said they weren't doing it... Now I've had Leahi Health's Morning Mana before (at other locations) but it definitely hit different without the banana in it. Since they didn't have banana, i asked what the cashier recommended and she said apple and to be honest I'm not sure if that was the right pick after tasting it. My drink just tasted like it was missing something. It tasted watered down. Kind of wish they had suggested something else that didn't include banana. As for the surfer bowl they were out of brown rice so I got double the greens. It was good. But just bummed they run out of ingredients.
