Busy Starbucks ( that is the understatement of 2025 already ) location in the Ewa wing of Ala Moana Center, next to one of the ABC Stores - street level. Went to try their new offering, cortado. Anyone who frequents an artisinal coffee shop is familar with a cortado. Starbucks cortado was actually okay...exceeding my expectations. I'm curious about their Winter menu of drinks; I definitely want to try their Pistachio Frappuccino/Latte. They also offer a cold brew with pistachio cold foam. I try not to patronize corporate coffee companies but Starbucks is decent and their app makes ordering convenient. I start work early in the morning, so their operating hours are excellent. In the end, I am a consumer looking for convenience and rewards points - via their app. Lots of parking in the AMC.
Typical quality experience. Efficient and friendly staff. This has to be the hardest Starbucks to find. This is on the ground floor by taxi and parking. Google led me to another local coffee place. Don't give up! It is past Marshall's and the Post Office.
This mornings experience was the worst customer experience at this location. We mobile ordered the usual black tea with strawberry puree and it barely had the strawberry flavor. There's also a new sauce that I like and on the app we were unable to order the Truff Jalapeño Lime Hot Sauce and Truff Original Hot Sauce. When we got into the store and asked if they still had it, they did and gave it to us, but we were talked to as if we were stupid in a condescending tone. He was telling us to order it on the app next time but even after trying to explain it was unavailable he kept insisting it was. I usually don't write bad reviews because I have a lot of patience, but I did not like the way he talked to us. I get if it's busy and people have rough days... either way, unacceptable.
I love Starbucks and I love their mobile order online. You never have to wait in line again, just place your order ahead. You can customize it as well! This time I tried their new lavender matcha oat latter. I was hesitant about the lavender so I got light lavender foam. However, next time I will definitely get it regular foam cause it's soo delicious! The matcha and oat milk is so creamy and the lavender is a nice additional complementary flavor to the matcha. It's definitely better than the lavender oat latte. 4 stars only cause it was $6.75 for this latte! Starbucks is getting more pricey every year. Definitely worth a splurge once in a while though!
At ground floor of Ala Moana Center. Service was quick and not many in line to place order. There were a four tables with pair of chairs for customer to sit. No outlets for electronics to recharge. Staff member were welcoming customers and friendly at the cash register. Drinks were quickly made.
I like coming to this Starbucks location. The staff is welcoming and our drinks are made well. Our drinks are always on point and made to order. The staff is AWESOME! They are always smiling and super friendly. Such a welcoming feeling when in there. The patrons are also friendly! The store is clean with some tables against the wall for sitting. There is also music playing on the store speakers. There use to be a public restroom but not anymore and more tables in the center, but probabaly due to covid there are only tables against the wall which is understandable.
Let's set the scene. I ventured into this Starbucks, which is located on the street level of the Ala Moana Center. It's on the side of Surfer's Bakery and ABC Store. It's important to note that I went here around 5:15 p.m. on a Thursday evening. The day of the 50% off promotion for Starbucks' app users! It was crazy fun?! So many customers that you couldn't tell the order line from the wait line! I had to ask the people where was the line to order. The mood was festive and exciting for me! Some of the customers looked happy : ) and some, not so much : (. I considered leaving due to the number of customers, but I watched in amazement the sheer gut determination of the baristas to get those orders out! I literally wanted to shout out and clap my hands out loud for their frenzied work ethic. Here's to you all (clapping hand emoji). I stayed in line and placed my order for a venti Gingerbread Latte and a cup of ice. I wanted to try one of the holiday drinks. The Gingerbread Latte was spiced just right. The wait was long, but to be expected. The latte was nice, but the ice had coffee grains ? in it. So I tossed that away. I passed by here an hour later and I spied only three customers in store. I'm pretty sure the baristas needed the welcomed respite. Bravo Baristas!
Excellent service!! Quality/Quantity - Got an ice drink for my daughter, 2 glasses of water, and a cup of ice. Atmosphere - Take out only, no seating. Service - 6 stars, cashier was very patient and accommodating thank you!! I did not expect them to give me 2 extra glasses of water and an extra glass of ice as it was so hot today!! Price - I did not even look.... But tipped well!! Thanks again for the great service. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1971 and being the largest coffeehouse chain in the world! #114 on the Fortune 500 list. As of 2021, 33,833+ stores, and 15,444 of them in the US. 1992 IPO 2003 Acquired Seattle's Best Coffee 2008 Loyalty card program 2020 Generous programs to employees due to COVID. Closed all stores except drive thru and delivery only. Paid for 30 days whether employees went to work or stayed home. Gave employees free daily meals and drinks whether they were working or not. Focused on the mobile app and future stores "convenience-led" formats with drive-thru and curbside pickup.
Just reopened at this location. Lots of parking and convenient to shopping at Ala Moana. Service was quick and friendly. And it's finally starting to feel normal. Staff still wearing masks and cleaning along the way. Had our usual favorites - dragon fruit refresher or mocha expresso and a few bites of their lemon loaf or cake bites. Same great coffee and snacks!
I stopped in yesterday before starting work. It was surprisingly busy that early in the morning around 8:30am, which makes sense. There wasn't too long of a line when I got in though, so I was helped fairly quick. I didn't catch her name, but the cashier that assisted me was very patient. I wasn't able to get into my Starbucks app because I didn't update my device yet, and she was very patient and waited for me to figure out where I needed to go to get access. Her customer service skills were great. She made an effort to talk story with my while we figured that out, and kept the conversation going. I even came back a second time to get food and she checked with the other baristas to make sure that I got my order. I got a Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with match cold foam added to the top. If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend it. I normally get it with oat milk inside.
It was like any other Starbucks. The workers were friendly and patient. I came in to try "the Zendaya" drink that I saw on social media. Apparently, she orders this drink all the time, so they named it after her. I went up to the cashier and showed him the picture. It was a venti iced matcha green tea latte with coconut milk. It was ok, but refreshing. My hubby said that it had a funny taste. He's probably not used to it, since it contains a lot less sugar than his usual Frappuccinos. There was a small line that moved pretty fast. The workers were on it to clear that line.
I really like this Starbucks because they legit care about their food. I know Starbucks food is never the star but it should be sometimes!! Their spinach wrap thingy is so yummy way better than I expected and it was a nice snack in the car to have while we dealt with traffic. Their mango dragon refresher was also better than expected. This all perked me up and I was ready to start the day! My blood draw was also this day and the nurse actually had a easier job than usually can't go wrong with this Starbucks

I ordered my grande pike, received it and walked out. I stood upside the store for a few minutes and was about to take a sip and saw that the lid was wet. I re-entered the store and asked dor a new lid as it was totally wet. Walked to the car and took a sip and got a few big drips on my shirt. The lid was dripping all around. I had to remove the lid as it was dripping. The photo shows the drips on the counter where I placed it when I got home! around the lid and on the cpunter. read more

Cody stopped by the Ala Moana location, Ewa Wing, street level Cody ordered sausage, egg, cheddar breakfast sandwich Cody ordered chocolate chip cookie Cody food was tasty Cody staff were friendly and speedy Cody dining area was clean and comfortable Cody will return read more
Was a bit tricky to find this location, it's on the literal ground floor of the outdoor shopping plaza, located within the parking deck and not "upstairs" near the stores and shops, despite what a navigation app may imply. The staff here is quick and very friendly! Tasty refreshing drinks with great recommendations for awesome add ins and drink upgrade suggestions. read more

Starbucks Happy Hour (2pm-7pm) on Thursdays in December 2019... I was driving my friend to her car at Ala Moana Shopping Center when I saw this Starbucks on the Ground Level. I remembered that it was Happy Hour - Buy One, Get One Free - and I suggested to my friend that we take advantage of this offer! She agreed because she had a Gift Card to use! We parked right in front in the covered lot and walked up to the cashier and placed our order. At first, my friend wanted one of her usual drinks. I pointed out the Holiday Specials and she selected the Caramel Brulee Latte - iced. I chose the same, but with Almond Milk and no whipped cream. Both drinks came out fairly quickly. We sat for a while in the small shop. We enjoyed watching people on their laptops...while other people looked like their eyes were closed... I don't blame them. The music, air conditioning, and cozy ambiance are soothing! After a bit, the wooden chairs got uncomfortable, so we took a walk with our beverages. This is a busy, but efficient location of Starbucks. We appreciate the Holiday Specials, the free WiFi, convenient restroom, the Happy Hour deals, the gift cards, and the handy app! read more
Mauka side of Ala Moana Shopping Center. Stopped by to get a iced green tea with no sweeter or additional water. It was nice on a hot day. There wasn't a line so no waiting. Maybe they will put back the table and chairs. read more
I might be biased but this is my fave Starbucks on the island. Drinks are consistently great. A lot of other Starbucks (Windward mall and enchanted lake to be exact) their drinks never taste the same and quality is all over the place. This one is not close to me but whenever I'm in the area, I love to go to this one. They are always busy (because they are the best!) but still fast! Come to this one if you want your drink to be good every single time! read more

They don't know how to make drinks . Not only they charge an extra $1 for Sweet Cream Cold Foam , they can't even make it accurately! Matcha powder is not mixed properly. The drink tastes like water! And to top it off when my husband was ordering a drink the manager gave me a judging look like he was doing smthing wrong read more
I'll be honest, my main purpose was to pickup some things at Vitamin Shoppe which is next door. Their sales I can't pass on lol. After leaving VS, the temptation easily drew me to make a visit because I found a parking stall right out front of this Starbucks store. Lets just say they found a strategically smart location for heavy foot traffic because it's located at one end of Ala Moana, the bus runs on Kona street, and they open super early! read more
I was in to try the pistachio latte. It was chocolate rich in flavor than pistachio flavor. Maybe too much chocolate or not enough? Of course, my snack was bacon cheese souse vide...soft, smokiness, cheesy and devine! The workers and working manager were kicking out orders, rush hour. It's hard to be friendly during this time, but they manage. Without the markings on the floor, people will not know where to stand within the two waiting areas were marked 6 feet apart which is ingenious in my opinion. Some Starbucks are not set up that way or don't have the room maybe. I think I prefer coming here in terms of COVID19. Masks are requirement for all. Does it make a difference in a crowded and busy area? Yes! All right gang, be safe out there...very short review on the fly! Ciao! read more

Asked for an Venti Iced Coffee with Oatmilk. Barley poured any Oatmilk, gave me the drink hot. All good, easy fix. When I asked for a venti cup of ice, they refused to give me one because they're running low so they don't give them out... meaning I would have to purchase a venti cup of ice... after they were the ones who screwed up my order.. It is what it is, ended up leaving with my venti hot coffee and two grande cups of ice Wack experience, workers seem like they don't want to be there so I'm gonna chalk it up to a bad day for everyone. Still wouldn't recommend. read more

Completely agree with the previous review from Raeann about this location. Friendly (but not over bearing which is great!), attentive, and they mail the orders accurately and efficiently every time- at least for the majority of each visit. I had ordered 2 items which would've taken Enchanted Lake and Kaneohe locations at least twice the expected time (of close to 20mins) rather than the expected 8 mins and even then, this location got it done and ready within 5 mins of me ordering. And they had a line in the store. Beautiful work Ala Moana Starbucks staff. Also I tried their Caramel Brulee Frappuccino - so yummy. And their Ham and Cheese croissant was delicious (and not burnt! Steer clear of Starbucks' Kailua Target location just an FYI). read more
As much as we've tried to wean ourselves from Starbucks coffee beverages, we still are drawn to their cafés or kiosks. Sheesh, it just seems as though I receive promotional e-mails or texts from Starbucks almost weekly. Ohh, we're just weak or resist so we find ourselves in a café. This café is located on the street level near Foodland Farms and the Post Office. Their baristas are friendly, pretty quick and accurate in making our beverages. The space is rather small yet cozy. It does get busy so just be patient and allow yourself time to get your well-prepared beverage or food item. As for me, I have actually found that when I order a Flat White with Soy or Almond milk, my cup actually feels like it's fuller than at a couple other Starbucks in this shopping center. But, shucks, there is limited seating in here so I often order and take it to go. read more

This is early May with Covid-19 quarantine and it's taken a stressful told on me. I was delighted to see some Starbucks opening to mobile orders including a favorite spot of mine in the Ewa Wing of Ala Moana Shopping Center between ABC Store and AT&T. They're always SO pleasant and greet you as soon as you walk in which was no different that day. I promptly got my drink and was tickled when I noticed they had placed stickers in the label, it made me smile and I just want to give them a thank you and well deserve five stars to a place that goes above and beyond. read more
