On Pensacola, adjacent to Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Medical Office's entranceway to their parking garage ( on Pensacola Street ) is a small food and beverage cart: Dis-n-Dat Kart. It has to be good when they spell cart with a "K." They sell coffee, tea, sandwiches, snacks, and even popcorn. I imagine almost all of their customers are on their way to Kaiser. I had to celebrate getting my blood pressure down...not today Satan ( Big Pharma and their prescription meds )...with an iced beverage and went with their Iced Chai Tea Latte. It was alright. For $7, a solid deal. There are benches to sit and enjoy your beverage but there was a man in a bikini top and skirt...so I just walked over to my car. They have a 3% surcharge on CC transactions. A usual stop whenever I have business at Kaiser Pensacola. Located on the first floor outside of the main entrance, this kiosk is hard to miss. Follow the staff at lunch time if you're having a hard time finding this place. One person behind the counter so be prepared to wait if theres a line. Sandwhichs, saimin, sodas, and more! My favorite is the sliced papaya, turkey pesto wraps, and canned sodas for 1.50$. Prices are reasonable and for the most part everything tastes yummy. read more

Wow. If you're ever getting a flu shot or covid booster (like me) and are waiting outside the Kaiser building on Pensacola, don't eat lunch and get it here! Prices are soooo reasonable and the wrap I got was fantastic! The lady in the cart was very friendly too. I got the curry chicken cranberry wrap. I don't even like chicken but the curry and cranberry suckered me in! Nice and fresh, packed with lots of curry chicken salad, wrap was not soggy, and it was only $5.25! Lots of other salads and wraps as well as a heavy duty looking espresso machine if you like coffee. Can't wait to visit again when I get my annual physical! read more

Dis N Dat Kart is a cute coffee cart located on Pensacola Street outside of the Kaiser Permanente building. They have a nice variety of grab and go items from sandwiches to wraps, muffins, and fresh fruit. They even have a popcorn maker so when I'm in the area, I smell both fresh coffee and that good movie theater popcorn smell. They offer a good variety of coffee items, including cappuccinos and macchiatos. You can have them add flavors/syrup to your coffee for an additional cost. I usually get the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it's nice that she (I think she may be the owner) asks how sweet I want the coffee and adjusts the sweetness level of my coffee. I've had the Curry Chicken Cranberry wrap. It was $4.50 for a decent size wrap and it was pretty good - the curry taste wasn't overpowering. Overall, I like stopping at Dis N Dat. The selection of items is superb for a coffee cart. Customer service is good, and prices are fair, and they accept cards. read more

Honestly, I'm only rating this cart based on the Hurricane popcorn, but it's an open secret amongst Kaiser Permanente workers that this has THE BEST Hurricane popcorn. A huge bag that you can pig out on yourself or share with 3-6 of your other best coworkers will set you back about $7. Any time I'm at Honolulu clinic I try to stop by for popcorn. I recently had a movie themed birthday party for my dog and purchased six bags of the stuff. The owner is friendly and when I arrived closer to 4 to purchase, she was out of popcorn, but told me she could mix up hurricane popcorn if I could wait. I told her why I needed it and I geared up for the judgement, but she only replied that now she felt like a bad mom because she didn't celebrate her dog's birthday! Lol! This is such a nice little food and beverage cart right outside of the Pensacola Kaiser location. Sometimes you just need a little snack before an appointment or while waiting for a friend, so it's a perfect place to grab a bite. The owner is so nice, too! My personal favorite are the blueberry muffins. I know my doctor would probably give me scoldings for eating them, but blueberries are fruit...right? They have really yummy sugar crystals on the top and she will even warm yours up for you, if you want. The muffins are just under $2, including tax, which is very reasonable compared to the area coffee shops. Although I've never tried the beverages there, it looks like they have a good selection and reasonable prices for those, too. When I've seen other people order them, they do look pretty good. They also have tons of other snack: everything from pre-packaged granola bars to bagels. Like the name of the cart implies, it's a little bit of this and a little bit of that! read more

It's at kaiser but don't be fooled and expect Kaiser Moanalua coffee - their bar is one of the best - compares to Italy. This truck is NOT. Worst cappuccino ever clearly not a barista. When I asked what milk they had She said "in order to make good foam she needed to use whole milk" - I said OK / she then proceeded to hand me a cup filled with milk ZERO foam... ??? She clearly has no hospitality training & shamed me when i asked about foam. I figured I'd just drink it- unfortunately the flavor was soo horrible / bitter I just threw it out. COFFEE -- My go to drink: Regular, cold, caramel macchiato with soy milk. She uses Kona blend coffee which I love! This drink is not too sweet and very satisfying FOOD/SNACKS -- I've had the plain bagel with cream cheese and it satisfies my morning hunger. For lunch I've had the egg salad croissant and that too is delicious. A plus is that there is a variety of snacks you can buy like popcorn, chips, fruits & more. I'm so glad that Linda kept some food items when she moved to Kaiser. Personal favorites: iced Vietnamese coffee, papaya salad with tofu, daikon, & curry chicken salad wrap. There is a wide variety of drinks, snacks, and food items that you will find here. Curry Cranberry Wrap for $4.50 seemed the perfect balance to satisfy sweet and spicy cravings. Smooth curry concoction served chill with chicken, cranberries and fresh lettuce was delightful. Couldn't help myself, was extra hungry and decided to try Chicken Caesar Pita at $5.50. Lightly tossed dressing mixed with chicken, lettuce, and parmesan was just right. Decided to use my utensil and consume it like a salad and at times held it with my hand which tasted yummy and resembled a compact salad and sandwich in one. I appreciate this cart is here for the convenience but the food & coffee are just ok. If you have time, walk to the other restaurants across the street. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and the curry chicken & cranberry wrap. The iced coffee was so so...I had to question it almost tasted like Cafe du Monde but not enough condensed milk. I appreciated that the curry chicken wrap was not dry and the cranberries made it more edible. Over all, I am relieved the cart is here when you haven't eaten anything at all but you need to get to your appointment within the next 30 minutes. They do have an assortment of snacks & bottled drinks if you question the taste of the food. read more

I loveeeee coming here! The owner is so sweet and professional. I love how when you come here the owner is friendly almost like a long time friend. She always has fresh grinds so I love eating here for lunch. One of my favorites from her cart is the curry chicken salad. The portions are good sizes for the price. I love this cart! It has been long due since Kaiser needed a coffee cart. This coffee cart is awesome and it is literally brand spankin new. It is clean and have plenty of goodies. I tried their coffee, latte to be exact and their coffee was good. They also use Kona coffee blend in their house blend! I also had their hot dog and it is one if a kind. It is a portuguese sausage hotdog and it is so cheap too! Everything in the cart is reasonably priced and good. They have pickled mango, fresh cut fruit and other food items and assorted pastries. I hear from ppl that they are known for their spaghetti and banh mi but currently they are slowly implementing it in their menu. I will be waiting for that. Overall i love this place and aldo, they have freshly made local hurricane popcorn!!!! read more
