Asked for an almond milk latte.. I doubled checked with the barista that it was in fact, almond milk. She put the sleeve on it and confirmed that it was made with almond milk. Immediately after drinking it I noticed something was way off. I take off the sleeve. It says it's a vanilla latte; aka made with real milk! I'm dairy intolerant! I don't understand how I can say something TWICE and still have it come out wrong. They gave me a refund but it did not undo all the throwing up I had to do afterwards. Thanks Starbucks! You suck!!! Not to mention the lack of seating inside. So many other better coffee places around the area. read more

So this was my second Starbucks stop of the day. Besides the parking fiasco which is the norm anytime you go to a store/restaurant on Brand Blvd the wait for so long. It's a very small store. Only 3 or 4 tables inside and 2 outside. They did not carry a lot of edibles or Starbucks gear. We got our drinks but we're disappointed that they didn't taste the same. Definitely not coming back here anymore. If you want a Starbucks fix your best bet would be to go to Americana or the Galleria. read more

There is a vast array of Starbucks in this area but this Starbucks stands out to me the most due to the emphasis on customer satisfaction. At other Starbucks's when there is a long line the baristas often rush your order and do not greet you with a smile. Opposed to that, when I entered this packed small Starbucks, I was still greeted with all kinds of enthusiasm. The young barista who served me was this filipino man who always makes my day. Not sure whether Starbucks as a whole has just given up on quality or if there are just so many, the ones I most travel just happen to suck. The last Starbucks I reviewed had consistently slow service, and never seemed to have out more than one milk at a time, and often enough, it was empty. This latest one seems to have the service down, but whatever you do, don't ask for "room." I tend to think of room for milk means not filling it to the very top. Having ordered from numerous servers here, no matter who you ask, if you ask for room, you are going to get a good couple ounces missing from whatever size you order. My other issue again goes back to their milk options. All that is ever out in the morning is half and half. What happened to the days when Starbucks offered non-fat, 2%, whole, half & half, and on occasion a dairy free option? I'll continue to go because it's close and convenient, but damn do I wish I could get some nonfat milk. read more

Terrible attitude by the employees towards the customers. I understand we all may be on edge due to Covid-19, but the way they yell at customers to wait outside, to do this and that, it is unacceptable. Yes we should all adhere to policy, but I saw what seemed to be the manager yell across the room to two gentlemen walking in whom hadn't even been greeted yet. They yelled for them to get out and even dared to tell one of them to never bring the other gentleman after a creative exchange of words. Completely unacceptable behavior by employees to get into that kind of exchange with clients. Greet them, explain what needs to get explained; you'll be surprised by how understanding people could be if treated with respect. Plus, if they are going to fancy policy and enforce it because of customer limitations, they have to do it at all times, not just pick and choose when convenient. I was inside with more than 5 people inside the store, when the gentlemen walked in and got yelled at (that seemed to be the root of the issue) again, I'm all for adhering to beat setter practices and understand that they are here for the employee and customer safety, but again unacceptable treatment to your patrons. read more

I have been coming to this Starbuck's on and off, and staff rotates so let me start with not ALL the staff is bad ALL the time. The first time I went this week, I asked about the Chestnut Praline. I asked how it was and two very cheerful people (for 8am) advised it tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios. That is pretty accurate. But who wants to drink cereal (soy) milk for coffee? A few days ago, I went in and ordered a food item and a drink. The cashier asked if I wanted my receipt. I asked if I could give a tip on it, otherwise no. She tightened her smile, "NO ... you can't. THANK YOU!" she sang in what I felt was possibly a passive aggressive manner. Here is my issue: She called out my food item at the opposite end of the counter, towards the dining room. Not the cash register where I was standing ALONE IN LINE. So I walked over to the far end to pick up my food item. "THANK YOU" she sung out again through a tight face. My coffee drink was called to other end of the restaurant. So I quickly picked up my food item and rushed to the other side of the bar. I said, "Man, I am just prancing back and forth here." The barista was a gentleman in thick Elton John glasses. "THANK YOU!" he said through a tight smile. read more

Best Starbucks location I've been to. The staff is great! I'm a regular here on week day mornings(9:15-9:45am). So they pretty much know my order unless I change it up. They all say hi to me and we can chop it up if there isn't a huge line. They're really nice people. As far as the drinks, it's your typical Starbucks. Not much to say there. I've never had an issue with my orders. And when I want to try something new they let me know nicely that they'll replace it if I don't like it. I occasionally will get the seasonal fruit cup thing or a banana. And they've always been pretty fresh. So overall I love this Starbucks and it's staff. read more

FYI-"Asian lady with glasses" is Debbie, and NO WAY she could be rude or impatient. She is kindest and nicest barista I have ever seen in any Starbuckses. She always remembers my name and wrights it down correctly (what is very unusual at Starbucks ). She even remembers what I order, and patiently answers all my questions about drinks and food. Love this location! It's one of my favorites. I have to go to this one a lot because it is closest to my work so maybe it's because they recognize me but I love them! They're always so nice and get your drinks out quickly without any issues with it. They're always super nice if I have to get a lot for my coworkers and they're just super friendly about everything. It's a very small store and sometimes there can be a lot of people inside. I haven't gone in since covid but I might pretty soon and can't wait to see how they're handling it! :) read more

Where should I begin. The horrible service I received or how my drink was thrown and chucked at the sink by the barista. I had to separate orders with separate payments. Courtney was the barista that was taken my order and from the beginning she had an awful attitude. I did not receive A proper greeting, instead I got "what do you need to order." Ignoring the improper greeting I proceed with my order. "Tall hot café latte with no whip cream please." Courtney responded with an attitude "Lattes don't come with whip cream" I'm sorry but I always get asked if I would like whip cream with my lattes or any other drink, so I was under the assumption that lattes come with whip cream. I continued to ignore her attitude. When it came down to closing the order she didn't ask if I needed anything else. Instead she told me the total and when I tried telling her I wasn't done with my order, she rolled her eyes and said "what else do you want." That was it for me, i didn't want to order anything else from Courtney. I paid and asked for a different barista to take the rest of my order and asked politely for Courtney NOT to make any of my drinks. My request was not granted even though there was two other baristas. As she was going to start on my drinks, I once again asked politely for Courtney not to make any of my drinks that I ordered. She looked over at me, chuckled and threw the blender and my drink into the sink and took off to the back. I have never in my Starbucks experience have ever been treated in a such disrespectful, bad-mannered, impolite way. On top of that they can't make any drinks accurate. I was very disappointed as the cashier lady was talking back to me and giving me attitude when I was placing my order. When I asked for a cup filled with ice on the side she overreacted and I did not appreciate how she treated me. Today I was very disappointed with my experience at Starbucks. I was just there to purchase a gift card and the person who assisted me at the register was very rude. I asked for a clear cup and tissue paper to put the gift card in, and she acted like this was impossible. I request this at all Starbucks when i buy gift cards, and I have even done it at this location various times. Its one of the reasons I enjoy giving Starbucks gift cards to family and friends. She gave me a hard time about it and acted like she didn't comprehend my request. She finally got herself together and gave me what i was asking for. She then took out a bag and just threw everything in carelessly and ruined the tissue paper that she had such a hard time giving to me. Overall, i did get what i requested, but she made me feel uncomfortable and like she wasn't having a good day and was taking it out on me. I was inside this location and I was looking for my gift card. While doing so, the shift manager Jake approached me and accused me of stealing a bag of coffee. This was done in front of the other customers and my daughter. He looks in my purse and does not find anything that belong to starbucks. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwanted at a Starbucks EVER. I asked for a Captain Crunch Frap (secret menu item) and the two ladies working said that unless I knew the ingredients they couldn't make it; fair enough. As I sat down I quickly "Google-d" and came across the ingredients. I tired to communicate the ingredients but before I could finished Debbie said "we already started making it" and refused to add the ingredients (I ordered a Strawberry and Creme which is the basis of the "Cap n Crunch" as you only add ingredients). When she gave me my Strawberry and Creme Frap she went on to say "the drink would have been more anyway, like $6" For the record im a gold Starbucks member and I was redeeming my free Birthday drink.
