Starbucks: a coffee-slinging consumer staple, whether you like it or not. We've all tried it out at least once, whether it was because we were severely caffeine-deprived and needed SOMETHING ANYTHING OH GOD GIVE ME THE JITTERS OR I WILL DIE! ... or because it was the only stop readily available on a long trip... or because you were curious. For me, I needed something to wake up with, and I desperately wanted some sort of breakfast sandwich. Starbucks called me, and I crossed the street and ordered. The inside is very dark, the set-up is cramped and awkward, but their display case is full of carbs in the way of sweets and savories (including that sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich I was hopeful of). The menu is like it is at all other locations, and the staff was moving around, replacing old coffee with new coffee and fixing up drink orders. The clientele either comes in as a flood or a constant trickle of customers in need of a fix. It's a standard Starbucks with the standard offerings for the masses. Okay, I know this is Starbucks, and I've been to probably 50 different locations throughout the US and Canada and Europe. I've probably had upwards of 1000 hot chocolates from this chain over the last decade and a half, as well. You'd be amazed at how many baristas don't make this drink for customers the way they would for themselves. Really? They would just make their own hot chocolate without stirring it? Here, not only did they make a tasty one at this location, but they actually stirred it, AND put the mocha drizzle on top, which I believe is part of the actual recipe but most baristas skip it out of laziness. After waiting for a five minute conversation between the cashier and a customer to complete (during which I, as another customer waiting for the interminable conversation to finish, did nothing more than shake my head in frustration at how long it was taking), ordered my drink without saying a word as to the delay, and then proceeded to be called out as having "caused a disruption," and then was otherwise verbally insulted by the cashier. I politely asked for the manager who saw the whole thing, who feigned not having any awareness of the situation. I guess rather than apologize for delays caused by extended conversations with customers, Starbucks now allows its staff to shame and insult customers for the offense of shaking your head, and then a wholesale lack of leadership by management. So many coffee options (within one block). I'd avoid this option. read more

I pretty much go to this Starbucks everyday around 8pm for my ice coffee. The people who work there are so friendly and most of them get to know the clients and start calling people by their first names and even know the orders. In addition, the place is clean and the ice coffee is bomb. read more

There is a worker here at this location by the name of Ro is what I see on his name tag. I have been coming to this Starbucks location for the last couple years since my school is down the street. It looks like he hates his job l. He is not friendly and rude tries to have a smart mouth with you and makes the Starbucks experience so unfavorable. Every time I come to this location I pray that I do not get him but just my luck it seems like I always seem to get him. I'm giving this a one star because I love the coffee and the barista's are nice but he makes the whole experience horrible. I like Starbucks gold card is has it's rewards, but I was just informed by my Barista about the new policy of same store same day refills. My comment was "are those your tables out front, well I purchased my coffee and my breakfast sandwich today before you started work. I order on the app 2 refreshers and one frapp. Drinks where perfect thanks who ever made them!!! :) I order ahead to just avoid the line and because I have work to get to. Typically when I order on the app I wait I the area where they are calling out the drinks that are ready. Well, let's be honest. The reason each and every one of us ever signed up for Yelp was to post a scathing review of some establishment that had done us wrong at some point in time. And on that note, we will return to that place. That place where I am so utterly unnerved by the obscenely bad service and overall horrible experience that I must spit venom across the world wide web to bring relief to my tortured soul. Don't treat me like an incompetent f**k barista man. I had your job in high school. Yea, high school. Right, how old you are exactly? Shouldn't you have moved out of your parents place, like, a decade ago? When I order a short percent latte, that does not mean non-fat. Don't try to tell me that there are only two types of milk in the world, and when someone says low-fat you can only make them a nonfat. I'm pretty sure that the Siren has been mixing whole and non-fat to come up with something lowfat since the days when she still sported her belly button on all the signage! Cause god knows that's what we used to do WHEN I WORKED AT THIS STORE! And when I suggest you remake my latte with lowfat milk, why don't you add insult to injury by still pouring my latte milk before the foam has settled, resulting in a rather light cup? what a horrible place! this is for this guy Jonny (barista) I mean who hired this guy? Please manager fire this guy already. Very rude with an attitude and you really can tell he doesn't want to be there. I am standing waiting for service by myself (no one else) but blatantly ignored me. I mea that was fine at the beginning because someone came and helped me out. So I've noticed there were nothing on the stand and I needed a napkin so I politely asked for a piece of napkin and he readily dismissed me saying that they don't have any napkins. Uninterested, unhelpful, rude and annoyed. So again I pointed out he has a stash of paper towels by the sink and he said that it's for their employee's use. How ridiculous, I never met such a mean person working in a customer inclined atmosphere where I know that you get trained to have a decent and reasonable personality. This guy does not belong here. Busy as heck. It's a cute and small Starbucks along brand Blvd so it's easy for businesses of offices to get coffee: if you're trying to get coffee before work or during your break, do not come in 30 minutes before. It's gonna take longer than that. Walking is your best way to get here because there is no parking. One thing I can say is at least the customer service is good. My company orders from this location at least once every two weeks. And it's always an issue. First they get upset because we didn't call the order in. The manager Anh is NOT friendly like the rest of the staff. You ask for extra caramel, and she's so lazy she does a quick drizzle around the cup. What the hell are you charging us extra for, if you're not giving us what we paid for. She hands you the beverages with attitude as if she didn't feel like coming into work that day. Or everyday for that matter! The supervisor there isn't friendly himself. Tried to explain that we have a company credit card, and it's not always possible to to get their ID. But we have our company business card. Now, i do understand the whole security policy. But we order there VERY often, and use the same card. They say we need an ID but let us still purchase the drinks anyway. Why tell us that and still let us purchase the drinks anyway dummy?! hmmm.. This is seriously worst starbucks, the wireless tables are not located next to outlet so the wireless charge station on the table are useless. Stopped at this location to try the new Chili mocha . Slow! One person ahead of me with two drinks and still took about 15 min to get my drink. Just before I received my order, the Barista asked if I wanted coffee in it. Coffee? In a mocha? Isn't it expresso? I didn't order decaf! I don't think I stopped at Starbucks for chocolate milk?? As I tried the new chili mocha, my straw dazzled my taste buds with lumpy powdered who knows what. I guess if you want expresso then it's not mixed? I'll pass on this location in the future. The staff at this Starbucks is AWESOME! I usually come in about 8pm on week nights or early early morning.... From Holly to Jessica to Mariam to Des to Chase, I cannot sing enough praise of their smiling faces and cheerful demeanor! I come here every morning before work. If you get here between 8-9 there's hardly a line which is great because this Starbucks gets very busy throughout the day. I give this Starbucks a 3 stars for a few reason on occasion the staff can be rude I've witnessed them carry on conversations with each other that are inappropriate in front of customers. One conversation was about team members that called out and another was and I quote this " be sure to check the cups because they have been sending them with mold in them" ah ya Disgusting!
