I got a coffee before my perusing, and i can say it's one of the better coffees i've had in the area. it was delicious and very easy to throw back. I will definitely be returning here to come and do work and keep up to date on their book selection. I love supporting local and this has been my best find yet in phoenix!

They were very busy for a Thursday. Despite how busy it was, everyone was so friendly and working super quick to get everyone their drinks/food. The avocado toast was very fresh and just the right amount of food. No complaints there! I also loved that they gave me a glass cup for my order. Something to note: the seating can fill quickly during their busy waves but I got lucky with a seat outside then moved instead once it settled down. I recently ordered the Bourbon Peach Latte with oat milk ($6.50 + $0.75 for oat milk), Blueberry Pie Latte ($6.50), and a Breakfast Sammy with ham ($8). The Bourbon Peach Latte is a seasonal summer drink. It features caramelized sugar, simmered bourbon and heavy cream, real peaches, vanilla bean paste, and a touch of salt. You also get a cute peach gummy ring on the side. The Blueberry Pie Latte is another seasonal summer drink. It includes espresso, blueberry pie syrup, and milk, topped with cream cheese cold foam and a cinnamon graham cracker crumble. Honestly one of the best variations of a blueberry drink I've had at a coffee shop. My favorite blueberry-anything at any coffee shop actually. As for their Breakfast Sammy, it had garlic aioli, egg, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese, and Everything Bagel seasoning. You can definitely taste the garlic in this sandwich. It was a great way to start my Saturday after spin class. I totally ate back my calories but no regrets. If I were Benson Boone, I'd say that Mythical Coffee was mystical, magical. So we chose to go here on the way to accomplish some errands and well, it was disappointing. The Schtick is supposedly Turkish Style Coffee with Yemeni beans? Are they actually getting coffee beans out of Yemen right now? The menu didn't really feature Turkish Style Coffee as the forward offering. The employees were not rude or anything, but they, they were slow at making coffee. They also didn't know how to make coffee either. Pulling and espresso shot is easy, pouring a latte is not. and Moka & Co brewed a Cortado that was clearly just an espresso shot with some steamed milk glopped on top...which I've had that happen before at places that only have paper cups. BUT if you care about brewing coffee, you will pour a microfoam head in paper just as you would in ceramic. What's worse is that the coffee just tasted like dirt, if this is Yemeni coffee, it's bad. Seemed like there was potential here, but it was a waste of a morning when there are so many great coffee places in the core, we just need more of them in the East Valley. Unfortunately Moka & Co is just marketing and not a quality coffee shop.

My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler!
