The barista understood the assignment!!! I don't usually come to this location, but it was fantastic. I went in the drive-thru on a weekday morning and got my order super fast. I asked for a vanilla iced latte with caramel drizzle and wow did they really load up on it! I love a ton of sweetness (big back here) and this drink hit the spot. Really not sure what happened here, but 18 minutes to get a simple drink is a bit ridiculous, and the only reason I got at all was because after three times of going to look for it someone asked me what I was waiting on. I went to the Starbucks at 344 South Power Rd. and ordered a mango drink large (Venti) iI also ordered an ice water. They gave me the Venti ice water and a medium mango dream. I had to drive all the way back and they made me my Venti one I asked them. Can I keep the other one and they told me no I have to give it back. The last time this happened, they gave me the other drink for free. Why would you take it back to throw it away? Unless you're going to keep it, add to it and give it to the next person. I called to express my disappointment and the lady on the phone said she was a manager. I told her my concern and she said is policy. I said I get it. At the same time if you make a mistake, you should want to make it right, especially if you're going to throw it away anyway. She kept repeating herself that it was policy. I don't care about a five dollar drink, but I do care about the principal. It was just tacky move. I would never go to that particular Starbucks again. SMH read more

An average Starbucks with a friendly barista. Could have been cleaner and the music a little quieter. But came across something that is inconsistent with my other experiences. This was my ninth Starbucks visit this month. We were told to place our order prior to obtaining the bathroom code. Why in the world would you want an uncomfortable customer queuing up to then potentially have their order waiting while they use the facilities? I spoke with the manager and they explained the policy and context. I appreciate it. But there's a big difference between an older couple coming in and an unkempt person with two soiled backpacks and desperate need for a shower. In five of this month's visits I used the facilities first; three of those needed a code. Whether this location or Starbucks, there needs to be a balance between patron management and customer satisfaction. In this instance, there was a failure. read more

I don't know why some Starbucks have a better selection of cups than others, but this one definitely has a great selection all of the time. The baristas are always friendly and quick. And we can almost always get a spot to sit down. read more

Bought a cheese danish asked that it be warmed up twice. The Oder wasn't filled like I requested prior to using the bathroom. I asked for my money back. She stated I got it it's OK this will warm it faster.. the purpose of getting it toasted twice is that it's actually toasted. However, the lady that ordered after me got her order right away. I go to Starbucks daily. This is one of the best I've ever been to. It is nice and fast and the staff is amazing. I won't talk about menu and pricing because they are pretty much standard across the chain. The only thing optional in some Starbucks is the nitro cold brew drinks and machine, which unfortunately this location does not have. That said, the drive through at this location is rocket fast. The people are kind. The orders are accurate. There is also an outside seating patio at this location which is actually reasonably good sized area. This is my go to morning stop off spot. read more

And, the chocolate chip cookie and double chocolate chunk brownies I requested heated came out cold; at that point, others were waiting and complaining about their orders, so I just bounced. I was going through the drive through and I thought I was paying with three 5's instead I gave them 2 - 5"s and a 50 dollar bill and my friend says it's all yours. (Before we drove up II was counting my money and I said I thought I had 3 - 50's and I only had 2 not know my other 50 was in with the 2 - 5's to pay for our coffee.) so Michael the older gentleman that works at this location said. " are you sure? " and showed us the 50 dollar bill and we said. Oh no!!! I have ordered from this Starbucks many times on the app and it seems like it is getting worse and worse. The time before this they did not make my egg bits because the sticker didn't print. A common occurrence at this location. So either they're loosing them or the printers are so bad that they're not printing orders. I gave it another go today and placed my order from my house figuring this would give them plenty of time to make my order. Nope, wrong. My order was placed at 7:44am and wasn't made until 8:04am. Literally 20 minutes to make it. Then when I got to work and opened up my breakfast, it was the wrong one!! I ordered the egg white bites and got the bacon ones, which I can't eat bc I can't eat bacon, so thanks no breakfast! The staff was friendly and even joking amounts themselves while a group of people waited for their extremely delayed Mobile orders. A lady next to me ordered on the app and then also came in and placed an order. The order at the counter was made 10 minutes before her previously placed mobile order was ready... Something needs to change at this location and maybe start by trying to make more than 1 drink at a time. read more

You know it's not going to be a good day when you wake up and find your coffee maker died half way through your morning brew. So this warrants a trip down street to my local Starbucks. What can I say Starbucks is Starbucks pretty much everywhere. The products are all similar in quality, but the franchises can be very different in customer service. I drink my coffee hot and black, so there is very little I can say about the coffee except that it is good as far coffee goes. I did get a blueberry muffin which I thought was delicious, again very similar to any other Starbucks. What I was impressed about was this store hired a Navy Veteran and provided an apron identifying him as a veteran. The customer service here is good and I am happy to see that they recognize the people who proudly defend our country. read more

If you want the best iced milk go to Starbucks and order the chai tea!! Their drinks are too expensive to be just given whatever they feel like giving you. I enjoy a treat every so often and it is disappointing when you take a drink and all you can taste is milk. Under the counter on the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The floor around the inside of the store was also dirty. I am absolutely disgusted! A friend of mine went into this location today and after what happened to her I will never be back! She went in excited to start her day with her father whom she doesn't get too many outings with and when they arrived she went up to order her drink. She ordered her coffee with low fat milk (not because she is trying to lose weight but because the regular kind makes her sick) and the older guy taking her order made a comment on the fact that she ordered low fat milk and how it won't do anything for her since there are all sorts of sugar and added calories in her drink. She explained to him that the fat in the regular milk doesn't sit right in her stomach and he replied with "well you have plenty of that" Her father walked up after her and asked if he heard him right? And asked her if he called her fat. She looked at a lady standing next to her who looked very uncomfortable and then my friend cried and walked out. No one should ever have to feel bad about themselves while doing anything in life non the less just ordering coffee!! Absolutely disgraceful behavior. People are terrible and I for one will never go to this location again not only for what they did to my friend but because I don't want to have to worry about getting the same treatment. The guy that took are order in the drive-thru was rude as hell, the girl at the pick-up window handing our order to us was nice & smiling until the dude that took our order shoved her out the way & snatched one of our drinks out of her hand as she was about to hand it to me. On the first anniversary of losing her dog, and giving herself enough time to mobile order one venti frap before a very crucial exam, you guys charge my daughter for 2 venti fraps and not only did she not have time to get a refund, she had to just take one and get to her exam, but she didn't even have time to think to give it to another customer, so it probably went down the drain! This Starbucks (located at Power & Broadway in east Mesa) just opened a few months ago. It is located a block from Banner Baywood and Banner Heart hospitals, so they get extremely busy between 0600 and 0730am with hospital employees running in, or using the drive-through, to get their morning dose of caffeine. Staff members have been great during each of my visits and the inside has the usual ambiance of a Starbucks. read more

I stopped going to this location quite a while ago and was going to the Baseline and Power location because there was always an issue at this location on Broadway and Power. Even though this particular Starbucks is not so close to home, sometimes you have to venture out to get quality! First off there was only 2 tables available! Everyone seemed happy and the feeli g of clutter didnt happen. Many tables and chairs which is very nice cor a change. Ordered cookie crumble frap with milk rather than coffee. No problem.
