There's only a handful of drinks that are worth getting from here but other than that the place is very snobbish

Bought a cheese danish asked that it be warmed up twice. The Oder wasn't filled like I requested prior to using the bathroom. I asked for my money back. She stated I got it it's OK this will warm it faster.. the purpose of getting it toasted twice is that it's actually toasted. However, the lady that ordered after me got her order right away. I had to ask several times for my money back before she refunded me guess customer service only applies to people with no melanin. read more

this drive thru experience was a nightmare. There was only a few cars in front of me and I was in the line for almost 30 minutes. When it was finally my turn I was charged for the wrong order and asked multiple times what my order is. Who was the shift lead because you were not following protocol. Idk what was going on in there but I'll never be back. I have frequented this location a few times now... and they are consistent in making drink orders and they live up to the handful of Starbucks store expectations I have! Positives include fast wifi, typical Starbucks customer service, enough space to find a place to sit and chat or get some work done even when busy, and plenty of outdoor seating too. Only real negative (and the reason for the 4-star review instead of 5) is the LACK OF COMFORTABLE SEATING! I go to Starbucks daily. This is one of the best I've ever been to. It is nice and fast and the staff is amazing. I won't talk about menu and pricing because they are pretty much standard across the chain. The only thing optional in some Starbucks is the nitro cold brew drinks and machine, which unfortunately this location does not have. That said, the drive through at this location is rocket fast. The people are kind. The orders are accurate. There is also an outside seating patio at this location which is actually reasonably good sized area. This is my go to morning stop off spot. read more

I was going through the drive through and I thought I was paying with three 5's instead I gave them 2 - 5"s and a 50 dollar bill and my friend says it's all yours. (Before we drove up II was counting my money and I said I thought I had 3 - 50's and I only had 2 not know my other 50 was in with the 2 - 5's to pay for our coffee.) so Michael the older gentleman that works at this location said. " are you sure? " and showed us the 50 dollar bill and we said. Oh no!!! He was so honest to have brought that to our attention so I gave them more of a tip due to him being so honest and taking the time to look at the denomination of the bills... thank you so much Michael, I hope more people are like you!!! read more

Oh Starbucks, your marketing gurus sure tap into my Type A competitive personality, so we stopped here on one of my "star quests." You would think they were giving away covfefe, etc here, it was a madhouse. My orders are generally simple, yesterday was no exception. Scott's Iced Doubleshot and my Iced Green Tea were fine, but took forever. And, the chocolate chip cookie and double chocolate chunk brownies I requested heated came out cold; at that point, others were waiting and complaining about their orders, so I just bounced. So Mom and Scott had to endure room temp sweets: the horror! Not my favorite location, but would stop in again when in the area at the Cardiologist, but I will ensure my order is correct. read more

I have ordered from this Starbucks many times on the app and it seems like it is getting worse and worse. The time before this they did not make my egg bits because the sticker didn't print. A common occurrence at this location. So either they're loosing them or the printers are so bad that they're not printing orders. I gave it another go today and placed my order from my house figuring this would give them plenty of time to make my order. Nope, wrong. My order was placed at 7:44am and wasn't made until 8:04am. Literally 20 minutes to make it. Then when I got to work and opened up my breakfast, it was the wrong one!! I ordered the egg white bites and got the bacon ones, which I can't eat bc I can't eat bacon, so thanks no breakfast! The staff was friendly and even joking amounts themselves while a group of people waited for their extremely delayed Mobile orders. A lady next to me ordered on the app and then also came in and placed an order. The order at the counter was made 10 minutes before her previously placed mobile order was ready... Something needs to change at this location and maybe start by trying to make more than 1 drink at a time. read more

You know it's not going to be a good day when you wake up and find your coffee maker died half way through your morning brew. So this warrants a trip down street to my local Starbucks. What can I say Starbucks is Starbucks pretty much everywhere. The products are all similar in quality, but the franchises can be very different in customer service. I drink my coffee hot and black, so there is very little I can say about the coffee except that it is good as far coffee goes. I did get a blueberry muffin which I thought was delicious, again very similar to any other Starbucks. What I was impressed about was this store hired a Navy Veteran and provided an apron identifying him as a veteran. The customer service here is good and I am happy to see that they recognize the people who proudly defend our country. read more

Store is filthy bathrooms included, no toilet paper etc. Employees are plenty not sure why they are just standing around chatting. Under the counter on the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The floor around the inside of the store was also dirty. They only had 3 customers inside, I thought because of Covid everything would be extra clean. Come on Starbucks this isn't expected from your store! read more

If you want the best iced milk go to Starbucks and order the chai tea!! Their drinks are too expensive to be just given whatever they feel like giving you. I enjoy a treat every so often and it is disappointing when you take a drink and all you can taste is milk. I've even asked for an extra pumps of chai but this doesn't happen 99% of the time. read more

They were clean, quick & friendly. That neighborhood is kind of older but the shop is well kept. I enjoyed sitting there with my friend for a chat. I never order caramel coffee but it was worth it. At the end of my cup of coffee I was regretting that I didn't order a bigger size. I tend to prefer mom & pop coffee shops but I'd frequent this location if I lived closer. read more

I am absolutely disgusted! A friend of mine went into this location today and after what happened to her I will never be back! She went in excited to start her day with her father whom she doesn't get too many outings with and when they arrived she went up to order her drink. She ordered her coffee with low fat milk (not because she is trying to lose weight but because the regular kind makes her sick) and the older guy taking her order made a comment on the fact that she ordered low fat milk and how it won't do anything for her since there are all sorts of sugar and added calories in her drink. She explained to him that the fat in the regular milk doesn't sit right in her stomach and he replied with "well you have plenty of that" Her father walked up after her and asked if he heard him right? And asked her if he called her fat. She looked at a lady standing next to her who looked very uncomfortable and then my friend cried and walked out. No one should ever have to feel bad about themselves while doing anything in life non the less just ordering coffee!! Absolutely disgraceful behavior. People are terrible and I for one will never go to this location again not only for what they did to my friend but because I don't want to have to worry about getting the same treatment. I have been going to this Starbucks since @2012, today I had the worst service ever! The guy that took are order in the drive-thru was rude as hell, the girl at the pick-up window handing our order to us was nice & smiling until the dude that took our order shoved her out the way & snatched one of our drinks out of her hand as she was about to hand it to me. His behavior was unacceptable! He was on register 3 til 1, I didn't catch the dudes name but I have my receipt with that info on it! It was about 2:15pm in the drive-thru! So I am done! This guy was rude before to my mom in the drive-thru another time & we just will not go to this location ever again! VERY POOR SERVICE!! If I could give ZERO STARS I would! read more

On the first anniversary of losing her dog, and giving herself enough time to mobile order one venti frap before a very crucial exam, you guys charge my daughter for 2 venti fraps and not only did she not have time to get a refund, she had to just take one and get to her exam, but she didn't even have time to think to give it to another customer, so it probably went down the drain! So we usually go here to get a couple of drinks and something to eat real quickly. Typically it's a in and out situation that takes usually less than five minutes. But for some reason today I spent 15 minutes plus waiting for two drinks and egg bites. Because the manager felt that she had to personally make my items while stopping every few minutes to take orders, which is ridiculous when there was a girl sitting right there who was able to make 10 drinks during the time I sat there watching the whole thing transpire! The sad part about this whole situation was I was the only customer placing a order for about three or four minutes, and it still took them over 20 minutes to complete my order even though I was waiting, they still made a priority of making phone in ordered drinks ahead of me that hadn't even been placed, till much later after I had arrived and place my order which is sad! They need to re-prioritized the business practices, and place people sitting in front of them, waiting first not someone who placed the order down the street and might not be come in the next 5 to 10 minutes. It's ridiculous, and a bad business practice. The manager there needs to be retrained or fired in my opinion.! There was definitely a lack of customer service through the whole transaction. The staff was friendly. I ordered 2 venti hot chocolates and I live just 2 minutes away. The hot chocolate was just barely warm. Not satisfied at all. I stopped going to this location quite a while ago and was going to the Baseline and Power location because there was always an issue at this location on Broadway and Power. This location is closer but I will go back to the Baseline location for now on. read more

Like this place, the baristas are really nice but there is no comfortable seating. Really wish they had some cushion chairs. I have my car worked on down the street and hang out while it's getting fixed and the hard chair are bad for the back. read more

This Starbucks (located at Power & Broadway in east Mesa) just opened a few months ago. It is located a block from Banner Baywood and Banner Heart hospitals, so they get extremely busy between 0600 and 0730am with hospital employees running in, or using the drive-through, to get their morning dose of caffeine. Staff members have been great during each of my visits and the inside has the usual ambiance of a Starbucks. read more

Even though this particular Starbucks is not so close to home, sometimes you have to venture out to get quality! First off there was only 2 tables available! Everyone seemed happy and the feeli g of clutter didnt happen. Many tables and chairs which is very nice cor a change. Ordered cookie crumble frap with milk rather than coffee. No problem. Haven't been to this Starbucks in a long time. probably will never return. enjoying my book and coffee, the barista says he HAS to lock up the patio. says open til 9pm, it's 8:15 and your barista, male, spiked hair, bigger guy, is locking up the patio and asked me to leave. very very very rude. this is the reason I only go to smaller coffee shops that actually appreciate my business. This review is for my drive-thru experience only at this location. I pulled in to a drive thru line almost out to the street, I thought to myself I should go inside as I was on a time crunch as I was on my way to a meeting. Anyways, I decided to stay in the drive thru. I pulled up to the menu board and was enthusiastically greeted by the barista. I placed my order for a Grande peach green tea lemonade and she verified the order and gave me my total. I pulled around to the pick up window to find out that my drink was paid for by the woman in the car ahead of me! That kind pay it forward made my day, and inspired me to pay it forward to someone else. My tea was delicious and my drive thru experience was great! I will be back! read more

The coffee is always good but whenever I order a breakfast sandwich it isn't even put together correctly. It is all over in the bag and one day there was frosting in my bag, since when does smoked ham and cheese cone with frosting. Please, be more careful with the food. read more
