Grande black tea lemonade was mostly ice.

Fast service, but my grande black tea lemonade was 3/4 ice! The beverage was watery and flavorless. No customer connection. This Starbucks is definitely no longer a third place to enjoy.

Honestly, I've never been to Starbucks where the person taking the order had an attitude other than kind and excited or at least nice and normal. Line was extra long so idk if it's their negativity but it's a lot slower & less pleasant than Del Mar Heights drive thru. whoever took my order here had a bad attitude!

Love this location! Super convenient off the freeway with an awesome drive-thru. The bathrooms are pretty clean and nice. Very, very kind staff. Shout out to Chris for the phenomenal service!

Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew & Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato

Stopped by Starbucks and tried the Toasted Coconut Cold Brew and the Ube Coconut Macchiato. Both drinks were really good and a nice change from the usual menu items. The Toasted Coconut Cold Brew was smooth and refreshing with a light coconut flavor, while the Ube Coconut Macchiato had a unique sweetness that made it stand out. Great options if you want to try something a little different. The drinks were well made and perfect for a quick pick-me-up while out and about. The only downside was the parking and drive-thru layout, which isn't the best and can feel a little tight or awkward when it's busy. Other than that, the drinks and service made the stop worth it.

Steve is friendly, but intended to meet here too Meet halfway from Orange County. No tables inside are out or chairs. Very disappointing. Great location to do a drive-through but not for catching up.

For some reason the Leucadia /el Camino real location wasn't accepting Mobile orders today. I was on my way to the beach anyway, so I went to this location for the drive through. There was a very pleasant girl on foot taking orders as you were in line. This made ordering and getting through the line quick & easy. I very quickly had my correct order and was on my way. The guy at the window was very friendly too. So easy when you just want to get where you're going without having to leave your car.

This Starbucks' customer service blows me away every time!! I've been to a lot of Starbucks, and this one may be the best. Their drive-through process and speed is absolutely UNMATCHED And today, I went in because the Carmel Mountain location had given me a terribly made drink, and I asked them if they could just make me something else, because it wasn't even drinkable, and they obliged in no time at all! While I waited, a barista asked me how my day was going (while he worked!!), and when I left, multiple staff said goodbye and to "drive safe in this rain"!! I've never experienced this at any Starbucks. I'm just so pleasantly surprised. Whatever management is doing, keep it up, you're doing amazing!!

Great location to meet with client or friend, easy freeway access. Always busy and parking lot crowded but service is great. Thumbs up!

There is limited seating inside and outside, but I see this being a great spot for getting some work done or reading a book. The staff was also super nice and accommodating. You can tell a lot of thought went into it, from the atmosphere and design to the way the coffee is presented. What I really appreciate about Necessity is that they take coffee seriously and to the next level. There's creativity behind what they're doing, but the coffee itself is still the focus. The flavors are intentional, the presentation is on point, and you can tell they care about every detail that goes into the final drink. The new space only adds to the experience. It feels like somewhere you actually want to hang out, enjoy your coffee, and take your time instead of just grabbing a drink and leaving. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and a concept that feels different from a lot of other shops in San Diego. If you're into specialty coffee and like trying something beyond your everyday latte, Necessity needs to be on your list. I'm already looking forward to coming back and seeing what they come up with next.

I ordered a honey cinnamon latte with half sweetness and it was really good. The flavor balance was great and not overly sweet, which is exactly how I like my coffee. I also picked up an iced vanilla latte, and that one was just as good. When I was ordering, the person taking my order didn't seem very interested in giving recommendations when I asked, but the barista who made the drinks was very nice and the coffee itself was excellent, which made up for it. There's some construction going on in the area right now, but I was still able to find parking without too much trouble. The food also looked really good, though I only tried the drinks this time. There is ample seating and bathrooms for customers in the back. Overall, great coffee and I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu.

I went with the Coconut Cream Pie Latte, and this was such a good one. The coconut flavor actually comes through, but what really sold me was the real dried coconut on top. Such a simple detail, but it added the perfect little bit of texture and made the drink feel much more special. The salted cold foam paired really well with it too and kept the whole thing from being overly sweet. My only complaint is parking. It can definitely be a little challenging to find a spot, so give yourself some extra time if you're coming when they're busy. We popped in here last December to grab some breakfast and drinks. I was excited to try their Golden Latte and their tasty breakfast tacos. I love how the shop is open and airy. Service was good and both my drink and breakfast were on point in terms of taste. You just can't beat west coast breakfast tacos! I saw lots of locals and tourists alike walking over or riding up on their bikes as parking is pretty limited but don't let that stop you from giving them a try.
