My mood determines which fuel for that moment. It's a plus that I'm able to customize my order...I feel sooo creative. Inside has a pleasant and inviting atmosphere as well being super clean. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. There's a patio where I enjoy my health-conscious snacks/drinks...eating some of that nectar or sippin' on that nectar. I was in the area getting my car tires inspected at Discount Tires and decided to grab a smoothie at Nekter just across the parking lot. I usually go to Jamba Juice for smoothies but I decided to give Nekter a try. I placed a mobile order using the Nekter app. When I entered the store, I let the person at the counter know that I placed a mobile order and gave them my first name. They went back to the cooler to pull my drink. I appreciated the fact they kept it cool before I arrived. Picking up my drink was quick and easy I ordered a large Mango Delight. The drink was exactly what I wanted. A cool, tropical flavored drink that included mango, pineapple, house made cashew milk and a bit of agave nectar. It was refreshing and delicious. Prices for smoothies are slightly higher than Jamba, but the quality is good. I'll definitely be back to try another drink. read more

I'm a fan of Nekter but this location had the most disgusting bathroom. It seemed as it hadn't had a good scrub in weeks. The sink had mold all over it! I should've taken a photo. I can't trust that the employees are sufficiently hygienic after seeing it and because of that I no longer order from this location. It's a shame as it's the closest one to me and the Del Mar location shut down. If you do patron another location, the chia parfaits and all of the smoothies are delicious! We've been regular customers for a long time--Nekter has always been a family favorite, especially the Banana Berry Burst. We rarely skipped a week. Today, we even brought a friend along to introduce them to it, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The smoothie tasted completely off--watery, bland, and lacking the usual fresh, fruity flavor. It was noticeably different from what we've consistently enjoyed. We returned it after the first sip, but instead of addressing the issue, the staff dismissed our concern and suggested it was our taste. That response was frustrating, especially when four of us had the same experience. Remaking an incorrect order should have been handled quick and without pushback. Something has clearly changed, whether in preparation or ingredients. Based on this experience, we won't be returning to this location. read more

The bowls themselves are good but the efficiency of this store is poor. Do not expect your pick-up order to be ready on time, especially on the weekends. Whatever the pick-up time says, add 30 minutes to that. While I'm sure the staff is always trying their best, they might benefit from some customer service training. Omg! I got the worst attitude today over having the lady make my drink again because the green apple detox turned out to be brown in color! I told the lady working around 3pm-5pm today 7/27 to please remake my drink because the color didn't look right because it's always green and today is brown in color.
