I have tried Two Dogs many times over the past year and in all honesty the coffee is poor quality. Typically I like to try the monthly special. The last 3 times we visited here, the coffee was plain lousy. Now- any coffee drink one orders should at least taste like "coffee" - you should be able to taste the coffee along with whatever syrups are used. Yesterday we gave Two Dogs another try because it is a very cute coffee shop. We both ordered the special of the month Pup Kin which was supposed to be iced coffee with pumpkin syrup and shots of espresso. We asked for an extra shot of the home made pumpkin syrup as well. Here is my honest take: Neither of us could even taste the coffee at all- which should have been a shot or two of espresso. Neither of us could taste even a modicum of pumpkin flavor at all. All it tasted like was oatmilk with a faint touch of cinnamon. After paying over $15.00 for two drinks we were more than disappointed. To be fair - I did contact the owner a few months ago when we encountered this same issue- the drink was flavorless - no coffee taste nor the specialty syrup. The owner was nice enough to offer me a free drink next visit but I never came back until yesterday- which was months later after our last taste test so I never asked for my free drink as I'm not the kind looking for free stuff but it's kind that she offered So as I said I did IM her to explain what we re-experienced and she just replied "thanks for the information " and that was it. No apology- no "what can we do to make our coffee drink better or help you?" So my feelings are we won't be going back again. When you work hard for your money and spend $15+ for coffee drinks it should not be lousy - it should be very good. It was very sub-par. I know it's not an easy job running a business. My aunts and uncles ran bakeries during my life and I worked there learning how to make sourdough bread and pastries. Running a business today is very hard especially with the cost of everything so high. The failure rate of new businesses is extremely high as well. But- my feeling is simply this : If I'm going to spend my money on a coffee it has to be very good to earn my trust and desire to go back This wasn't a one time event for us- we had poor tasting coffee drinks here multiple times so sadly we won't be coming again. Still I wish them success. Note to the owners- please make sure you are tasting your coffee on a regular basis

The menu is creative and the food never disappoints. We grab things to go while we are there- frozen gourmet foods and local meats and pasta. Fabulous choices of beer and wine! The mood/vibe is casual and easy-going. Top it off with friendly staff and very involved and present owners.

It's a nice area and the restaurant has a variety of fresh fruits/vegetables and other farmers market like items for sale along with a large seating area and bar. Our waitress was incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu. She answered any questions we had with no issue. As we left she apologized for the delay as they were understaffed. In truth, we didn't even notice. The service was excellent and we were in and out in less than 50 minutes. If this was tough night for them I can't imagine how stellar their service is on a good night! Congrats! For food we ordered the burrata pesto dip, crab cakes, and curry chicken lettuce cups. The "dip" was more of a plate of burrata with pesto and 4 pieces of bread. The cheese and pesto were great but we wished there were 2 more pieces of bread to split. The curry chicken was delicious. Probably my favorite of the meal. The curry spices were excellent, lettuce crisp, and I loved the addition of the cranberries. I didn't think it would come out as a chicken salad consistency but it didn't hinder the dish. The only miss were the crab cakes. Obviously crab is seafood but I found the cakes to be very fishy. The consistency was off and became mushy pretty quickly. When we return I'd skip these. Three tapas, one mai tai, and a mocktail came out to $88. Not as bad as I was expecting and we would definitely come back again to try some other menu items.

There are requests for feedback available on most platforms where people can leave comment on their experience and let others know of any issues encountered. For minor issues, businesses typically opt to rectify them so that customers that maybe didn't have a 5/5 experience might try again. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The owner, Adam Rondeau, decided to personally text my family member about her review where she mentioned being incorrectly charged for an item and call her "insane" for saying so on a review instead of reaching out to him as the owner first. In my experience, I have never heard that personally reaching out to the business's owner for an issue when there are feedback options available, especially as a first step, is the "correct" way to handle an issue. You let the customers know it happened to you in a review, and you move on. Clearly, if you have a negative experience at chubby dog, your best bet is to keep your mouth shut about it or the owner might personally text you and make you the bad guy for their mistake. If you were concerned on how a review of a mistake that was made at your cafe would have impacted your business, you absolutely made a bad moral decision by trying to bully the complainant after the fact. Who does that? The market is over saturated in coffee here, go anywhere else. Even if you might have a less than stellar experience elsewhere at least you probably won't be contacted by an owner saying that you were wrong for complaining.
