I've been a regular at this Starbucks for months because it's conveniently located near my job, but repeated negative interactions with one employee have finally pushed me to leave this review. Every time I've interacted with Jasmine, she has been consistently rude and dismissive toward me. When I politely ask for anything, always saying "please" or "may I" she does not acknowledge me verbally, avoids eye contact, and simply grabs the item without any basic courtesy. On multiple occasions, when we do make eye contact, she has visibly sighed and rolled her eyes, which is incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. While I've seen her display similar behavior toward other customers, after months of coming here it genuinely feels like this treatment is consistently directed at me. I'm not sure why, but it has made each visit feel awkward and unpleasant. This is not a one-time issue or a bad day. It's been an ongoing pattern. Customer service should include at least basic respect, and unfortunately that has not been my experience here due to her demeanor. I continue to visit this location because I like the store itself and most of the staff. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue. read more

Great service even on a busy morning they had a local MS event that was next door to them. All the local PD was there and more customers so I was super happy that my London fog came out with great flavor and not watered down! They had the mobile order ready pretty soon there after arriving but it usually does take a little longer for steeping for the tea and the lavender cold foam. I've been at this Starbucks location handful of times. I got some early mornings here in Costa Mesa and this is where I've gone to get my Starbucks. The parking lot situation can be a little bit confusing because there's different driveways. The plaza has a separate parking entrance than the big corporate office parking. So it can be a little confusing. Overall, with all the hotels and different office buildings in the area, it does get fairly busy. I was able to place a mobile order to be able to not necessarily have to wait in line. It seems like a lot of people own weren't using the mobile ordering and opting to wait in line. Everything was what I expected it to be here at this store. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great. We stopped by this Starbucks on the way out of town & I have to say they are very organized. Their mobile station is right at the front when you walk in which is nice, because you can just come by and pick up your stuff and go. Everything was clean and stocked. People were friendly. Happy to have a Starbucks walking distance from home. The staff is just as friendly, if not friendlier than other locations. The batista even remembered my name and my order after only a few visits! There is a nice patio that we usually use since it can get stuffy inside. The patio is supposed to be smoke free but sometimes there is a smoker. Note to them: please stop, the smoke spreads, sitting one table away from someone doesn't make you in the clear. For a small Starbucks, it is very crowded due to all the hotels which are also in walking distance, so expect a line, especially during peak morning hours, both on weekends and weekdays. It's in a nice plaza as well so if you like to enjoy a coffee right after lunch you are in luck! read more

These days I almost always order an iced tea with light ice and no sweetener added. Per the usual, they'll call your name and drink when it's ready. As is the case with any large chain, sometimes it will work in their favor or against. In the case for this Starbucks, this place definitely made a great case as a Starbucks that gives an awesome experience with their service! I was served by Katie who was so helpful and made me feel right at home. This specific Starbucks has spacious patio seating which is great on those great Southern California days! The seating inside was very nice as well. FYI: This Starbucks is located in a corporate office area and the parking lot requires going through a ticketing gate. I go to this Starbucks about twice a week - not much choice since I work in the buildings right across from it. It is always a hit or miss with them. Sometimes the drinks are good, sometimes the drink tastes like hot milk. Today was horrible. I ordered a tall holiday flat white The cup seemed a little light when I picked it up so I opened it. I am an amateur coffee aficionado. I use a burr grinder, buy artisan roasted beans, and will break your fingers with my back teeth if you serve me one of those dreadful Keurig k-cup coffee. With this predilection in mind, I visited Starbucks to give their new blonde roast a chance. It is quite ordinary if not timid. Do not confuse artisan light roast with weak or diluted flavor. Coffee beans all start out green. At just the right moment, a master roaster will recognize the right hue of burnished brown, hallucinogenic aroma, and complexity of taste. The less a bean is roasted, the more it retains the primordial characteristics of its origin. Hence, Peruvian peaberry tastes like Peruvian peaberry. Fresh whole beans still retain all the essential oils of the coffee, the ones triggered into taste signatures by roasting. Old beans will have a wet surface, as these oils have had sufficient time to migrate out of the bean. Flavor from those oils will end up in your grinder, filter, or on your hands instead of the coffee. Oh the humanity. The only good thing I can say about Starbuck's blonde roast is that it doesn't paralyze the back of my throat like their regular brew. Bland, with no hint of character. read more

So these are three new drinks and they are all ice cream based. How Faaaantastic!! Cold brew malt: cold brew with 2 scoops of vanilla icecream and malt powder. Cold brew floats: cold brew with a scoop of gelato grade vanilla ice cream Nitro cold brew float: more concentrated than the malt My barista was Michael who had a broad smile on his face and happily explained all 3 drinks and he was so happy when i got the Cold brew malt because that was his favorite drink too :). Icecream and malt combination gives the drink this nice creamy smoothness, while cold brew coffee gives it a kick without being too overpowering. Love in a cup! Hands down the best drink at starbucks to date. I cant wait to try out the other 2 drinks and i'm already in love with the Cold Brew Malt. read more
