I came here with all intention to get further away from my apartment, and into a different environment to do work at a cafe. This Starbucks was the only one I knew of near me, yet in a different neighborhood. Upon entering it struck me as a peaceful place attached to a Jewel - Osco that is noneless crowded compared to other Starbucks locations. Not the biggest Starbucks, but it works just the same as the bigger locations. Lucky me! I came during happy hour and got an extra coffee due to there being buy one get one free. Definitely was not expecting that and I will be feeling the aftermath of it when I cannot sleep tonight. As for my order I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha, but debated on the Pumpkin Spice Latte prior to deciding. The White Chocolate Mocha tends to be my go-to drink during many of my visits at all Starbucks locations because of its taste. The wifi at this location can be accessed with Jewel - Osco or even Starbucks. My phone connected fine, but my laptop on the other hand could not connect, which I cannot complain because I understand that signals can be a hit-or-miss at times. In the meantime, it will not hinder me from visiting in the future because I enjoyed my visit and felt very welcome and entertained by the baristas and ditzy regulars that were present during my visit. With all being said I hope this review assists you in any way. Thomas G

I could not believe that Starbucks in my hometown serves purely brewed Guatemala coffee with a strong after taste. And I like it! First time entering one, and I guarantee it won't be last. There I was, standing at their door full of curiosity about how Starbucks is known for having such a unique coffee experience. At first, I am a huge critic why buy some expensive coffee while I can make my own in my home, but after having a brewed and roasted coffee. My mind directly agrees, they got the best coffee. I have tried 7-eleven before, but the taste is far more superior to what they serve.

There is a Starbucks in Jewel

Even for a Starbucks, this place was friendly. We found it in a walk on a cold morning apartment hunting. There are limited coffee/tea options on that street, at that time. So why is this Starbucks the one you should go to other than the private parking lot? Though... For those driving not paying the pay to park for your daily coffee may be a reason. This Starbucks hasn't been found yet. No line! They are also super nice. My husband was getting a grande tea. I moved his order to a venti because all I wanted was some of his. She had an empty grande cup in her hand, and just handed it to me. Then she did his venti order. I got my tea and didn't even have to share a cup with my husband! This will become my Starbucks of choice passing through this neighborhood.

White chocolate mocha sauce in the bottom of cup. Not stirred:(

Only problem is there is no clear sign inside and outside of the supermarket, Jewel & Osco.

The space is cute but on the smaller side, so not ideal for long stays. Service was great though, the server was smiling and really welcoming. They're known for their Italian-style coffee blending, using beans from different regions around the world to create a more balanced and complex flavor, which you can definitely taste in the drink.

The kind of place where you slow down without trying. The staff was genuinely nice too. Asked how my day was and even recommended couple of pastries. I ordered a hot chocolate with an almond blueberry financier. The hot chocolate was honestly perfect. Rich but not heavy. You get that dark chocolate hit first, then it smooths out. Creamy. Warm in the right way. The financier was great. Nutty from the almonds, little bursts of blueberry, soft but not mushy. I dipped it into the hot chocolate (had to), and yeah... even better. No regrets there. It's a small place, but if you get there early, you might grab a seat with a really nice city view. Worth it. I'll definitely be back. Especially now that I know there's a solid hot chocolate spot right nearby.
