    Vanilla latte
    Sarah B.

A coffee shop I've been wanting to check the box on for quite some time, I finally made an effort to get to goose island to try this place. Great place to work, because it's so out of the way had ample seating both inside and out. My vanilla latte tasted great, but nothing out of the ordinary. The pastries were just a basic selection but also tasted fine. While working there, I found the internet to be crazy good, especially with the internet intensive work I needed to do. I will say that the music is really loud though so be prepared to work through that or bring noise cancelling headphones.

I love this cafe! The lattes are always consistently good and plenty of room to sit and enjoy it. I also love that they have a free parking lot which is unheard of in the city.

Stopped for a quick coffee while jogging around the area. Loved the atmosphere - really cool art on the exterior of the building and bright interior with fun decor. Coffee was good but nothing to write home about/probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Service was friendly and I received my coffee quickly.

Love this coffee shop! The Wi-Fi connects well. Ample parking available in the company lot for free. 8-9 tables available for seating. Others have mentioned but it's definitely a coffee shop- based on coffee. There are some small bites (pastries) but that's it. Shop has a clean modern vibe. I really enjoyed the music and feel. Great spot to catch-up with friends, study/work (with headphones). I wouldn't suggest for work calls. The latte art on my flat white was so cute! Great spot.

Looked at the reviews before coming so I knew what to expect. I think I came after a rush cause the seating area seemed all over the place. I got a latte and chocolate croissant which they didn't give me the option to have served warm so that was ehh. The place is cute, but not a place to go out of the way for. If you're in the area and need a coffee then absolutely.

I came here initially to walk around the area since I know Chicago Fire was filming that day. I've driven past this coffeehouse previously and it always looked so good and nice to try it. So I ordered a iced matcha latte w/ oat milk and this was pretty good. For its service, I really enjoyed my drink. It was pretty good, and you can watch them make it in person creating your drink. It was pretty strong oat milk taste over the matcha, but I was able to slightly still taste the matcha. I don't remember the menu being super big I think this place had really cute iced cubes, they're cubed and small! I loved the vibe in this coffee roasters and the service was lovely. Spoke to one of the managers for a bit about their business & was very patient and sweet. If I'm around the area again, I'll definitely drop by here again to get another yummy drink!

this place is a vibe plenty of spaces to come and work or just chill. the coffee is really good; I usually get iced lattes, but forgot to ask for it iced and actually really enjoyed the hot coffee. the coffee was ready pretty quick and they were having a small rush, which I appreciated. the place is big enough where there were one or two people on zoom calls, but I couldn't really hear them with the general ambience of the coffee machines and the music. very lowkey, really enjoyed this spot. also, there's a parking lot in front so don't worry about parking

    cortado w/ whole milk

i liked passion house! let's call it a 4.5, in truth. i put off trying it for, like, forever because, as others have said, it's not really BY anything. i got a cortado with whole milk and, while they don't have my favorite espresso in the city, i thought it was really good. it's a lighter espresso (as in subtle, not the roast level), but not bad by any means. drink was also one of the more well-made cortados ive had recently, so FAT shoutout to the barista who made it. i also got a pastry (an apple cinnamon galette), which was just OK. i think gaslight in logan gets their pastries from the same place, and its just not my favorite bakery. this, for me, is what makes it a 4 star cafe rather than a 5. prices are pretty standard, in my opinion. maybe the teensiest bit steep (cortado was $4, and the pastry must've been just under $6). pretty vibey place, too, and i felt like the music was at a good volume. really weird music (some offshoot of post punk, maybe, but im not so good with genres), but i consider this a plus cos it makes me feel like its probably the baristas choosing the music. overall, i'd consider passion house a win! i would definitely stop in any time i need to run to the blick's, since that's pretty much the only time im out that way.

I stopped into Passion House with the Sweet Potato Cardamom Oat Milk Latte on my mind. Sadly it is only offered in the Winter. The young guy working was so personable and friendly. We chatted and shared stories while he created perfection for me. He also described the new coffee beans they offered with tons of details. I end up getting a simple vanilla latte at the barista's recommendation. It was even better than I expected. I also picked up a Mocha Cardamom Latte for my son. He loved it. He said it tasted like a chocolate gingerbread cookie. I've always loved going to this location. It's bright and cheerful and super clean. I can't wait to return when it's a touch warmer. They open the big garage door, making it nice and breezy inside. I've sat outside too. It's quiet and relaxing. Set back from W Division Street, there's a large parking lot with little activity. It is an excellent, quiet afternoon spot to tuck away with a latte and a pastry. It's perfect for a relaxing moment in the middle of a big city. I highly recommend this beautiful coffee shop for delicious lattes and other beverages, tasty pastries, unique coffee beans for home brewing and wonderful service.

Who am I to disrupt Passion House's 5 star rating !? And it might've just received a 4 spot but as an avid House Music fan and the "Music" theme of this Coffee Roaster, this easily pushed it to the top. Love some of the names of the coffee varieties as they pay tribute to the above (Chicago House Music, Darkest Side of the Moon, Bassline Blend, etc..) and, as expected, they have cool branding/colors/artwork on their packaging too....and you can snag their coffee beans @ BOGO 1/2 price on Tuesday. Nice. We went the Oat Milk Latte which was fantastic and Ima be back to get a few lbs of coffee beans on a Tuesday. The space is equally cool and love the area they are located in. Wish they were open at the Weekend but ah well, will be there early and often ntl. [X] Get in

I cannot believe I've not been to this amazing gem. If you're in the area (or even if you're not)…read moreyou should DEFINITELY come here. First of all, the ambience/atmosphere is soooo cute and unique. It is in the "lobby" of the apartment building above it, but it's done so seamlessly you wouldn't even realize it unless you were looking at the resident mail boxes. Either way - tastefully done. My favorite part was this area to the right of the coffee counter. Cozy chairs and inviting space. Loved sitting here and enjoying my latte and donut. Secondly, such unique drinks! They have some really fun seasonal and specialty drinks. I highly recommend the Thyme is Honey - it comes in a cute bear cup with a sprig of Thyme. The also carry Beacon's Donuts (if you haven't had them, this is your sign to!). And lastly, the barista, Clara (I THINK that was her name), was delightful. Super friendly and inviting. So, thank you to her for rounding out a really nice coffee break.

The Horchata Latte (6/10) tasted like a cinnamon latte. It was definitely on the sweeter side, and the espresso was light. The Purple Haze (3/10) was more of an ube refresher than an ube latte. I liked the foam on top, but the drink itself was watery instead of creamy, so it wasn't really for me.

I found that it was worth exploring the whole building rather than just grabbing a drink and leaving. One of the coolest details is the curved elevator. There's also a rooftop deck, though it was closed for renovations during our visit. We tried the espresso martini flight, and all the flavors were tasty. Just a heads up that the drinks themselves are not very large, so go in expecting more of a tasting experience than a full-sized cocktail. This is a major tourist destination, so lines can be long and seats can be hard to come by, especially on weekends. Worth the visit, but plan accordingly if you want to avoid the biggest crowds.

Very interesting with the very futuristic decor, the 4 very different levels and the spaciousness. We spent an hour there because after looking at everything, we had to have a Starbucks coffee and a small dessert and relax. The wonderful smells get to you and you can't leave. The 1st floor offers a quick coffee and bite to go plus merchandise. The 2nd foor offers a cafe & bakery with goodies freshly made in their open kitchen. You can get sandwiches, pastries, breakfast, snaks, coffee , tea. That's were we stopped to eat. The 3rd floor offers different coffee creation to deepen your knowledge about coffee. The 4th floor offers coffee-inspired cocktails, beer, wine and sweet bites. We were there in June on a weekday and there was a long line out the door and a half a block back but it does move quickly. Inside it is packed with people but it was pretty orderly. We went to all 4 floors by escalator. There are lines for the restrooms also, as you can imagine. Some people were impatient and it was awkward being around them. I don't care much for huge crowds but sometimes there is nothing you can do about it. The Reserve is an experience that you want to have. We enjoyed it. You can buy delicious pastries and great souvenirs there. Their decor was unlike any of their regular stores. A must see. Bring money, lol.
