Peet's coffee has a great plant based menu. It includes a variety of drinks and a sandwich. Which is entirely plant based. I really appreciate that because other coffee places have options but still include egg or dairy so it's not fully vegan. The everything plant based sandwich includes the beyond breakfast sausage, just egg, vegan cheddar on a thin everything bagel. It's super delish! and definitely a go to for me. Their horchata cold brew oat latte is also one of my faves from Peet's. This location is super busy but they always provide great customer service! read more

This peets is the best location in all of the city! I have become a regular at this location due to the welcoming staff with whom I even know by name now. They always great me with a smile and are very efficient during busy crowds. Personally I think Peet's is the best coffee ever.. it's very rich tasting, and tastes fresh. I don't usually stop by Peet's due to their locations proximity to me. However, I decided to stop by because a coworker told me about a black and white cold brew drink that interested me. I came a busy time but I did not feel rushed or overlooked. I enjoyed the step up of the space and the huge coffee brewers. My husband was looking for a quieter place to do work since Starbucks blasted their loud music. This place is a perfect place to work. The music isn't loud. In fact, it just blends in as background noise. The staff is very friendly and it is quite a busy location. I had their new golden Chai tea latte that consisted of turmeric, ginger and honey. The staff greets all their regulars by name and new customers with casual conversation as your payment processes. The staff was very quickly able to answer questions about lactose free options. As for the food and drink, I had a bacon cheddar brioche sandwich and an almond milk latte. Friendly, friendly, friendly service! Peet's has great tea and coffee, and some great employees as well. Whenever I need a suggestion on a tea or coffee to try, I get 110% here. The whole bean coffees are well-explained on the board, and the employees know their stuff, as well. When I told the barista what kind of coffees I like to brew at home, she ran down about 4 different kinds that she thought I might enjoy, and highlighted a few more that she thought were special. 110% (First reco was the Indonesian Fancy, and it was really good.) Just finished grocery shopping at Whole Foods and needed a caffeine fix, sis suggested Peet's. Walking in I was smell struck with intoxicating scents of coffees. Counter babe Holly was friendly and had our order up quick. A Mocha something and caffe latte. Both were yum, mocha something more tasty for me. Chill atmosphere where I could come just to sniff aromas, pleasure myself with coffee and work on my laptop or enjoy the company of ladies also doing the same. Such a lovely place to visit. First time here and it was impressive for my experienced taste. I was around and decided to order something for myself and was recommended to pick latte which a good option for me since I'm not a big fan of strong coffee. Flavor was amazing as they added exact milk and sugar to it. I had a chocolate bar as well so it was a pretty good combination for me. I also like the design of this spot and customer service as well. Staff appeared friendly and responsive to my needs. No rude actions were taken against me and it gave me a sense of pleasure and gratitude for their kindness and paying proper attention to small details and each customer's suggestions and requests. They definitely now how to treat people and it' pretty cool. I also was glad to see they followed all quarantine guidelines and were committed to ensure the safety of each person regardless it's an employee or a customer. Peet's is THE place for coffee in chicago if you are looking for quality and not a slave to the Starbucks stuff. They know their stuff, actually take care in their brewing process (instead of the mass process) and are always glad to see you. Excellent people working there, free wifi for an hour with your purchase, a ton of excellent coffee and tea for purchase. I've had poor experiences in other Peet's locations, but stopped in here recently to pick up a coffee to go. The drink was fine! But the two huffy "security guards" hired by the strip mall (I guess) to watch for errant parkers in the lot were sprawled out across two chairs at a front table, and there were no other places to sit. Nice job, Peet's. Allow the non-customer guard to take up (paying) customer space, just hanging out, and I noted they had no Peet's products purchased anywhere near them. Despite, or maybe because Peet's is owned but JAB Holdings, a private and one of the largest and most powerful and secret European private equity brand owning holding companies on the planet, they do a darn good cup of coffee. Based in Luxembourg, All the big boys are invested here, banks, hedge funds, university trust funds like Stamford etc. JAB owns Intelligencia Coffee, Keurig Green Mountain, Caribou Coffee, Crispy. Creme, Panera Bread and yes ladies Bally and Jimmy Choo shoes. JAB leverages supply chain, financial, and marketing scale amongst similar brands and businesses wherever possible but basically lets the local brand management teams run their businesses. In this case Peet's team does a great job as reflected in the quality of product, people and service. read more

I came for the Chai and I stayed to talk about how much I love Starbucks' new Oprah Chai. Go figure. Both are good, but I think in a 1:1 comparison of Starbucks basic chai and Peet's basic chai, I'd have to go with Peet's. It doesn't taste as sweet and manufactured as the Sbux version and overall it's just lighter. This location is nice too. There's both parking and beautiful baristas, though nabbing an early afternoon seat here may be an issue. read more

Oh my gosh - I'm going to become a regular. It was SO easy to stop here on my drive to work. I turned right into their parking lot, easily found a space right out front, and then went into Peet's. There were a bunch of people already quietly sipping their drinks, reading, chatting, or working on computers. I was a little confused because it seems as if one counter is for tea and another counter is for coffee. I'm not sure about this and will have to investigate during my next visit. The lady who helped me was cheerful, informative about their drinks, and offered me something to eat with my drink. I got the matcha milk tea with almond milk and coconut simple syrup. It was tastier than the matcha milk tea that I make at home (at just over $5 it was more expensive too!). My only point of contention with Peet's Coffee & Tea is that they had a Yelp check in offer for $1 off of matcha tea and I didn't get to use it! That's not Peet's fault though. Peets is well known for their STRONG and RICH coffee. The staff at this one are very welcoming and the location is great. Toll! Their Americanos are good, Cafe Fredo (equivalent Star$ frappuccino) is sweet treat, and the mocha terrif. Best way to warm yourself with some warm mocha or cup of joe when it is cold now! Or a hug from a doggy :) Peets cinnamon roll and pastry with the raisins are really good.
