    Matcha and Latte

A strawberry basil matcha 16oz being $11.90 should be illegal. Extremely overpriced, I should've made at home.

Mid! Very overpriced for what you get, and didn't love the ambiance of the cafe. Barista was nice!

The layout is clean, sleek, and to the point. In my opinion it's the perfect place to take a laptop and work solo. NOT the place if you're looking for a cozy couch to catch up with friends. Very personable barista up front. Barista says they are still deciding on what their open hours will be; as of today, they are staying open til 9 pm. Cool music - punk/grunge. They serve Nutella and ice cream in addition to the expected coffee/tea/matcha menu. My small iced matcha w oat milk was about $7 which I'd say is average for a place like this. Really hope they stay open and keep the flexible hours; not all laptop workers in the city are ready to wrap up by 5 pm! :) **UPDATE: as of Aug 8, their posted hours are: M-F 7am - 1pm Weekends 8am - 3pm

I stopped by here the other day to grab coffee with a friend before we went to the Logan Square Arts festival. I got the rose cardamom latte and it's one of the best lattes I've ever had. The flavors were absolutely wonderful and the quality of coffee was very good. I also like the unique format of sitting around a bar countertop. The service is very nice and professional and I got my order very quickly. If you're in the area and need a good and flavorful caffeine boost, be sure to check this place out.

I will begin here, I am in Logan Square quite often. I was working in the area, had a meeting and I walked this location after my meeting. I was immediately greeted upon walking in. The area is very spacious, bar type stools that are very comfortable. I was able to work for a few. The iced vanilla latte was one of the best I have had in a while. The cookie that I also ordered was amazing. I had the pleasure to speak with Taylor, her positive attitude is very welcoming. I would like to acknowledge both members of the team that were working. Both of you are rockstars. I am glad I stopped and I will be back soon. Definitely worth the visit.

Cool new coffee shop in downtown Logan! The layout of the place is open and spacious. They have a smaller menu but offer some specialty lattes that sound really good. I got the charlatte with coconut cream, honey, espresso and cayenne. I thought it was quite good! I've never had cayenne in a coffee before but it works! Will be back to try some of the other lattes and their pastries!

Pedestrian Coffee's new shop just opened in the shuttered Intelligentsia location, serving great coffee, freshly roasted beans, and ice cream, with the most welcoming interactive service at the counter seating surrounding the coffee bar.

You should never have to spend 13$ for a regular coffee drink, this place is definitely overpriced and the latte was mediocre

The shop is sparsely decorated but seems to be a real staple in the community, which felt special to visit as an outsider. My friend and I both ordered egg and goat cheese bagel sandwiches. I ordered an iced lavender matcha and my friend ordered a cappuccino. The sandwiches were made with boiled eggs, which felt extremely odd. The egg type was not clarified on the menu, but I feel like for a breakfast sandwich to include a boiled egg instead of a traditional fried or scrambled egg, that should be disclosed to customers with some sort of expectations. My friend said the cappuccino was "just like every other cappuccino I've ever had." The lavender matcha really just tasted like a regular matcha. It was good but not much lavender flavor! Our food also took a bit to come out, despite the coffee shop being empty (only one other person already dining when we came in) and what we ordered. It looked like there were only two workers. I personally wouldn't visit Sipping Turtle Cafe again, unfortunately. There are a lot of other great options around that satisfy me more.

The establishment has a chill atmosphere and the owner was so incredibly friendly. Even though we were out of town, we were immediately invited to a small event they were having the next day and asked about our days in a manner that reflected genuine interest. I wish this could be my local coffee shop, you're so lucky if this is! Their unique offering was a wonderful selection of coffee and a delicious array of Colombian pastries. We ordered an empanada, a churro donut, almojabana, and the pan de bono. I'm vegetarian so I was very happy to see such a wide number of options for me! The churro donut was delicious and cinnamony - if you like sweet breakfasts, definitely get this! I really enjoyed the almojabana and the pan de bono. I liked the pan de bono so much, I even took a picture of the crumb to share with my mother, who is Colombian! Truly, I could have eaten 5 of the pan de bono because they tasted just like the homemade one's my abuela would make when she visited.

(They freeze great too if you want to savor them). I haven't tried their breakfast sandwich, because I'm not a big pork sausage person-- would love if they had more variations of a breakfast sandwich! You can also order a toasted english muffin that comes with fresh butter and a homemade jam.. it's so simple but addicting. I have had their Lox English Muffin a couple of times, and if you love Lox, it's GREAT. Really good balance of cream cheese/veggie/lox ratio.. though Lox is always so overpowering so it's most of what you're going to taste. If you are a quiche person, PLEASE try theirs. The creativity in their rotating flavors, and their perfect crust, are a must-try. It's soooo well done. Every pastry I've tried has been spectacular, from their almond blackberry croissant to the pistachio escargot, to their donuts.. I don't think you can go wrong. Their cinnamon roll is next on my list.. but I need to try it when I'm with 2-3 other people because it is GINORMOUS. I don't trust that I wouldn't eat the whole thing by myself. Their coffee is good, but there's nothing special to me about it! I come here for their fresh pastries and eats. They have free wifi and it's fairly quiet, so a good place to knock out some work or have a good conversation with a friend. It's neat, clean, and bright with a good amount of seating. This place is right next to my therapy office, so I frequent it a couple of times a month, and I have always felt welcomed and cared for by their employees. We stopped by on a Saturday morning around 8:30 am. There were a few patrons dining in and enjoying their breakfast. The display case was well stocked. The pain au chocolat was love at first sight/touch. I could immediately tell it was incredibly flakey, buttery, and light just by lifting it off the plate. Every bite was divine. If I was not concerned with my waistline, I probably would have had more than one. I used the English muffins to make lunch sandwiches at home. I toasted them and they held up really well after I layered them guacamole, pan-seared German bologna, cheesy-potato omelette, and Sriracha aioli. I am thrilled to try other sandwich variations with these English muffins. Another pro is that they offer Sparrow Coffee. My husband and I are both fans. There were several small tables for dine-in options. We would love to return and enjoy a cup of coffee with breakfast.
