Cute coffee shop by the Clybourn redline. Super chill stylish coffee/ tea cafe/ shop; whatever you have in mind. They have a great assortment of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I was tempted by the lemon bar since I already had breakfast and decided to double down on the sugars with a Dragon Eye coffee: made with condensed milk. The lemon bar was solid. A nice hearty shortbread bottom with beautiful lemon curd on top. Not too sweet or acidic. Would get it again. Dragon Eye coffee was not as thick as I imagine being made with condensed milk. The brew was a solid medium roast and very flavorful. The music was a jazzy chill beats and very relaxing for a Sunday morning/ afternoon. Would recommend stopping if in the area.

My friend walks here from her apartment every day and she suggested we visit this spot when I came to cowork. She got the large iced latte and I got the double shot caramel iced blended with oat milk (you have to ask for a milk substitute or else you get 2% milk). I wish I had gotten the triple shot/larger size because it was delicious. Just what I needed when the weather broke 60 degrees in the winter. It's perfect for getting work done because there is ample seating and great lighting. They have wifi (ColdestBrew! is the password) and a printer.

The food was good. I had the ham and cheese croissant and it was made fresh. Service was great. Gave good suggestions when i asked. They do have n extensive drink and sandwiches menu. I had the Pineapple Fruit Tea. At first i thought it was so bland but my silly ass didnt know i had to shake it. I love fruit teas and i would definitely go back when Im in the area again. The place is very chill. Parking is hard , itw in the city so walking is ideal.

I came here while I was getting my car serviced and it was the perfect little spot to cozy up in! I was able to do some work thanks to their free wifi and outlets available for my laptop. The coffee I tried was the Vietnamese hot coffee which was sufficiently strong. I usually opt for cold drinks when it's warmer outside and I'm excited to come back and try their matcha/more unique drink flavors. The service was quick and easy. Just as a heads up if you need to use the bathroom, you'll just have to step out the cafe and go into the New City Main Area

Ordered the iced strawberry tea and it was perfect for a hot day! It seems like they have good weekly specials too.

A great spot to enjoy a delicious drink inside a nice shopping center. The seating isn't too cramped and the layout feels casual with a dining room that isn't too noisy. Like other sweetwaters locations, the quality of the ingredients is evident and the prices are quite reasonable for getting consistently delicious drinks. This is prepared in a quick and friendly manner. There is also a nice selection of bakery goods and cakes if you need a bite with your drink. For the drinks, it is nice that the calorie count is displayed so that you have the ability to quickly decide between higher and lower calorie options (though the higher calorie ones are definitely worth it, as they are full of flavor!). Overall, worth a visit for a delicious drink and a sweet bite if you're in the area.

I stop by this place constantly. They're fast and reliable. My favorite drink is the monster matcha (unfortunately seasonal). Think iced latte meets iced matcha latte. Double the caffeine! The food is great too. I'm all about their bagel and egg sandwiches. There's various protein options and they're all good. I typically order via app and the service is always fast and time estimates of when orders are ready are accurate. It's a casual yet clean place and nice spot to meet friends for a coffee.

It's a good place to get a drink. It's not too expensive (at the current going rate ). May try other stuff next time like the lemonades.

I have been to this "Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea" location several times but never wrote a review. This is a franchise, yet the drink and food offerings are better than S*arb*cks or D*nki* D*n*ts in my opinion. I receive their weekly emails informing about the Happy Hour deals (mostly on Mondays). I also have their reward app so that I can check out anything new and look at their vivid, high quality beverage graphics and wish I have a cup of deliciousness in my hand as I'm trying to lose some postpartum weight. Many coffeeshops in the city close by the afternoon, but Sweetwaters open until 9pm. This allows us to escape the house from time to time so that we can use this place as a brief outing. I like their matcha craft drinks. I don't usually order drinks with sugar and I always prefer my coffee black. However, I do indulge myself with their matcha speciality drinks every once in awhile. Free wifi, outlets, clean and well-lit cafe seating are provided for the patrons. Many of their merchandise sold online and in-store are just too cute! Although they are pricy, looking at these items is still inspirational. I don't know if they validate parking for the parking garage. We usually swing by Dick's Sporting Goods or Mariano's since they have the parking validation machines. I believe the first 2 hours is free that way. Sometimes the frequency of visiting an establishment depends on the convenience of parking situations. You probably will see us sometimes here at nights and catch pokemons!

I'm sitting here in the lovely outdoor space at Sweetwaters, drinking a very nice latte. Medium ("grande" in corporate owned coffee lingo) was $5.62. Worth it. Smooth and balanced. Super clean and comfortable inside. Friendly and fast service. They have a printer if you have very serious things to do. Good jazz playing at a soft volume, not overwhelming or obtrusive. Well spaced, small tables inside. Outside space is very well designed at this complex. Meant for summer relaxation. Lookit the fountain. Lookit those big rocks by the fountain. It's great!

My husband and I came to Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea to relax and get a drink in the middle of a busy day. This coffee shop is very cute. It is bright, warm, and inviting. The employees are very nice. We shared the Creme Caramel. It was very good. It had a coffee taste but was not too sweet. We got a chance to sit, relax, and do and work. I highly recommend Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea! It's a great escape in a busy city.

It's a cute coffeeshop. It's in the smaller end. They have lattes, tea, and more. Don't trust the location in yelp, it's actually around the corner. I got lost following yelp location. My sf brown sugar almond latte was delicious.

I would have loved this place if it wasn't for 3 employees screaming and laughing so hard they were choking. They really created an unnecessary scene. There were 5-6 staff standing around the entire time I was there. One girl ate the whole time behind the counter, in view of all of the customers Several could have gone home. Located in the very pretty New City Plaza, the wrap around windows offered a fantastic view of all the trees decorated in a ton of twinkle lights. It is bright and cheery inside with plenty of seating. The glass cases at the counter were filled with pastries sweet & savory. Their beverage menu is quite extensive. I opted for a nice herbal tea. I loved the Mandarin Orange Rooibos. They play smooth loungey music, which I would have loved to enjoy with my tea. Unfortunately the girls were still squawking at a volume level meant for a stadium. They were choking, coughing and snorting. One girl had to wipe her face down with paper towels because she got herself so worked up. Note to management: Don't over-schedule and train your staff of proper behavior while working. They were still at it when I left. I tried to sit and sip my tea but gave up. I'd rather drink my tea in my car than be subjected to the chaos any longer.

Nice facility and friendly-enough peeps. Cafe latte was weak sauce, however. Weak. Sauce. There are better options out there.

Even though there was a bit of a wait to get our shake, it was absolutely worth it. Rich, creamy, and loaded with the flavor of Portillo's iconic chocolate cake, it's every bit as indulgent as people say. It's definitely not an everyday dessert, but if you're visiting Chicago, it's one of those classic treats you should experience at least once. Do yourself a favor and order one--you won't regret it!

Good day dear reader,…read more I was visiting my family in the town for a week, I took the decision of going to the well know "Portillo's... Chicago"®. I was there with my wife, we got diferent set of Hotdogs and some pasta and two sides of fries and our drink. We will start with; The side of the pasta is really slow & they will stop at 11:00pm, what is completely okay and I do understand it, BUT! Hold on, because you can pay for things from that kitchen and they will tell you "it is too late and now we don't have more pasta, we cannot help you". That happened today with us 07/30/2026. It is annoying, because I needed to talk with different people to be able to get my food, with a people that doesn't reply to "good evening" or any kind of regard, after it, we started eating (approximately 30 minutes after our arrival). The pasta was not well cooked, it was hard, I don't know if that is the style of the place, but for me that was bad cooked, the sauce is good, taste ok, the portion is ok, but have in consideration that is not meat in there, you are paying just for the "pasta", then the fries are so soft, good, here I won't complain because the fries are one of those things that could be in different ways and the people will see it as good or bad, but they need a little extra of seasoning. The great thing: The hotdogs... expensive... no flavor, the sauce isn't a "quality" sauce, I am paying around 5 dlls per hotdog, I am specting a better quality, the bread is really simple, etc., average hotdog of a weekend at your backyard. The drink has a good size, no complaint. The workers are in a hurry all the time, they don't have time for regards or quality of attention to each customer, I encourage you to add more personal to your boards and to pay them better, they work hard. Best wishes, Salazar.

While we had originally gone there for bagel sandwiches, it was past noon and they were sold out (just means I have to go back now). The latkes were the perfect side that we ordered and the corn beef was so juicy. The sandwich practically melted in my mouth. It was consumed rather quickly and the perfect amount of sauerkraut and dressing. This location is small, but we were luckily able to get a table inside. Just writing this review my mouth is watering and I just know I will be coming back here during my many visits to Chicago!

I really want to like them so much more than I do. If there were a continuum from hipster deli…read more(think Mile End) to traditional deli (Manny's, 2nd Avenue, etc) Schneider would on the hipster side of center. Two of us shared a half pound pastrami on rye with a side of hash browns. The rye was pretty decent but the pastrami was sliced far too thick and the meat was lean. That is not a good thing when it comes to pastrami and I attribute the lean meat to the deli catering to its hipster-ish audience. Although the flavor was decent, the sandwich was dry and difficult to eat. We disagreed on the generously sized pickle. One of us thought the flavor was just right, the other not so much. We both agreed on the hash browns. It's a no-go. They were well fried but entirely unseasoned. I understand the lack of schmaltz but there was no onion or salt or anything else. Waffle House has nothing to worry about. (IYKYK) Service was fast and polite. The space is tiny, but it works. Prices are okay for this area but if you want traditional deli in Chicago, go to Manny's.
