    Espresso

TL;DR: You should go out of your way to visit here! I had their Columbian espresso, very well brewed, perfect temperature, served with sparkling water that has a great mineral composition. If you're a coffee snob like I am, this place is a great choice. I went 40 minutes out of my way to try it and I am thoroughly happy with my decision! If I lived nearby, it would be my daily driver. The atmosphere is very interesting, art studio, chill, slow day kind of vibe. Don't walk, run!

My experience today was very nice as in the taste of the coffee plus the minimalistic experience. The one thing that I would say is that the location is hard to find at first it's inside of the art center. I like the fact that you're able to choose which MIN you would like for the espresso based drink. I ordered an Ethiopian cappuccino with almond milk and cinnamon powder. The first sip was everything that had high notes of fruity variables and very light on the pallet. The milk was steamed to perfection and the whole drink made for a great experience. Highly recommend this place as they know what they are doing.

I got two orders of espresso: Columbia and Ethiopia. Both are great: smooth and full of aroma. In my opinion, this is the best espresso bar in Chicago area. The cafe is very neat and in a contemporary vibe. Right off the Bloomingdale trail. A good coffee stop while exercising.

Excellent little find just off the 606 Trail. Get your stroll on, then hop off to grab some good coffee--that's not Starbucks. Great mixed use space, very spacious and modern, with lots of dope graffiti murals right outside.

Cool cafe in humboldt park inside the kimball arts center. Great spot for the different coffee options and the amazing craft lattes. Loved the totoro and the military latte. The signature series can have some pretty good options too. Looks like they have tons of options for pourovers as well. Every drink I've tried here was great!

Mind blowing coffee shop. The Warhol is a one of a kind drink. Nice refreshing orange latte type of drink - not too sweet but also really really good flavor. Had to go back 2 days in a row because I was thinking about it all day. Barista was friendly and chill. Did a great job with the morning rush and he was working single handedly. My wife is a big matcha connoisseur. She makes quality matcha at home, and most matcha's out don't compare to what she makes at home, but this one she said was the best she's ever had aside from her matcha at home. And I agree, it was fantastic. We also tried the Ponyo. It's similar to the Warhol but strawberry. A little on the sweeter side, so refreshing and delicious. A dessert type of coffee but doesn't feel too sugary. Can't believe I haven't been here sooner! Life will never be the same now that I've experienced Dayglow.

Amazing service! I came here for the special Dayglow had since the bears won! Thank you Caleb Williams I haven't heard of Dayglow before this deal but now it'll be one of my go-to spots in Chicago. There's a lot of open seating and the matcha had a good ratio and the just the right amount of sweetness. Thank you Dayglow team!!

Such a cool coffee shop and a what a unique space for it. We finally tried out Dayglow coffee. Our service was great and our coffee was pretty good, but I will say the prices are definitely steep. This is a solid spot for those days you want to treat yourself with something different. The peppermint mocha was too sweet but their vanilla latte was incredible - no notes there.

Dayglow is a hip coffee shop in Chicago's Logan square neighborhood! The cafe is right off The 606. The menu has some unique coffee creations. I ordered the Totoro which had coconut foam on oat milk latte with sesame, orange blossom and honey! It was so refreshing and delicious, can't wait to go back! The barista was friendly and helped me choose the drink. Finding the entrance to the cafe can be slightly difficult but there is ample paid street parking around.

Enjoyed their Rare selection of pour-over as always. Today we got a Panama Geisha Natural and it was absolutely delightful, fruity and clean. The refreshing Totoro is a must for us, too, like a dessert. Parking is so easy in their back yard.

The most amazing coffee shop in Chicago - amazing assortment of beans from all over the world. Tried the Warhol which was most similar to a perfectly balanced spiced orange latte. The staff was super knowledgeable of the coffee offerings and I also tried the espresso from Swerl and a Pourover from Sumo in Ireland. Looking forward to the bag I got from Tanat in France and I will definitely be back every time I'm in Chicago.

I love the cocktail style approach Dayglow has to coffee. The beverages are just as delicious as they are unique. The inside is adorable as well. The key factor and appeal apart for them having delicious beverages and great co-working spaces is the proximity to the 606. There is no better combo than snagging an iced beverage with your dog and heading over to the 606 for a walk! Also your dog is allowed inside- so nice! Service is fast and efficient. It has definitely become a regular visit of mine.

    Matcha oat milk latte.

I stopped in for a matcha latte. It was your straightforward matcha. They have alternative milks, such as; oat milk. I do wish they had more flavor options, like; blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry.

I ordered 5 coffees one morning, and all the register guy did was write a few names on some cups and placed it down. I understand tipping culture is a divided topic of discussion, but at the end of the day, it is OPTIONAL. After pressing the skip button from what I believe to be non-tip worthy service, he threw a fit and said "Wow you're serious? After I did all that?" Meanwhile all he did was write names on cups. Now I would understand if he was the barista working hard to pump out the coffees, but two lovely ladies were in the back doing that. He shooed me and my friend out of line as we were still processing what he just said. The next customer orders and he had the audacity to talk about us to them while we're 5 feet away. Delusional as he was, he had the nerve to say we were holding up the line and made him do "all that work", and I could promise you, we knew exactly what we wanted to order the second we got up, and took no longer than 45 seconds. We also witnessed he got into it with another customer, so it seems like he's the problem here. Most wild service I have ever received, all for some milky coffees. I ended up tipping the lovely ladies in the back though. Be warned. There are much better spots.

Probably my 3rd or 4th time visiting, but the drinks always hit the matcha itch each time I love the Strawberry Matcha Latte since it brings a good level of sweetness from the strawberry puree but also the bitterness from the matcha. The matcha has such a deep flavor that with any of the specialty lattes, you don't lose any of that matcha flavoring to the add-ons. The Mango Matcha Latte is also very good! You get a lighter mango taste (in comparison to having a stronger strawberry taste), and you can still taste the depth of the matcha flavor. Even after the ice melting after time, you can still taste the matcha as if it was not watered down. That's how you know you're getting premium quality matcha. tl;dr If you haven't tried Gathers...you're missing out on some delicious matcha.
